I posted the paragraph's immediately below in the Sweet Million forum, but for ha-ha's I thought  I'd post it here and see what you folks think....

As some of you probably know, I play the same set of six numbers twice on my Sweet Million ticket.  (It's kinda like a Power Play, just like PB has.  Because Sweet Million is NOT pari-mutuel for the first five jackpot winners, if I had all six winning numbers, I'd win 2 million dollars)

Let's say I hit five numbers, therefore I'd win $1,000 because I have the same line twice on my ticket.  If I take the ticket to a NY State Lottery Customer Service Center to collect my winnings, they're gonna tax me cuz I won more than $600.

But I dont wanna pay no tax!!!!  If I had only one line on my ticket with five winning numbers, because I won less than $600, I wouldn't pay any tax, and I can cash the ticket at any store that sells lottery tickets.

So lemme ask you this:  What if I go to store "A" and ask them to cash the ticket for $500, give me back the ticket, and I take it to store "B" and have that store give me $500.  Think that would work????

I think I know what would happen, but I wanna know what YOU think. What say you?  Yes?  No? and Why......

Now I know that some of you kind folks are gonna tell me to stop being stupid, and to buy 2 one dollar tickets instead of buying the same line twice on one ticket.  Then I wouldnt have any problems cuz I could take them to two different stores and cash them in, and not have to pay any tax.

OK...I wont be stupid anymore.... but I was stupid tonite when I bought my SM ticket and played the same line twice on the same ticket, along with five other lines.  So I'm stuck with my stupid ticket until next time I buy Sweet Million.

So what's a fella to do???  Should I try to con some punk kid clerk in The Stewarts Shop into cashing the ticket for 500 beans and give it back to me so I can go across the street to the Mobil station????

                Hey Minkster...

You know that Geico motorcycle insurance commercial on TV?  You know, the guy is ridin' around on his Harley and he's made outta money...with all them greenbacks flyin' off him.  The music playin' in the background is The Midnight Rider by The Allman Brothers.  "I got to run to keep on hidin'.... but I'm not gonna let ketch me no! Not gonna let 'em ketch the midnight riiiii-der!"

Forty years ago in 1973, when I was a collegiate stud at SUNY Oneonta, we played The Midnight Rider on our dorm room stereo til we wore that sucker out!!

If I ever win millions playin' the lottery, I'm gonna buy me a Harley, get all dressed up with a lotta greenbacks stuck all over me, and cruise to Albany with my stereo on The Harley blastin' The Midnight Rider!!!!!

                A dollar and a dream baby...a dollar and a dream  G5

Finally hit for cash again on T5.  3 out of 5 for $21.50.   I haven't won more than free plays for about 6 weeks.

My power numbers for tonight are 6 and 16.

If anybody was going to hit four numbers in Take5, last nite was the night to do it.  $1,031 bucks for 4 numbers.

Does anybody know if The NY State Lottery has recently changed the split with regard to how much money is paid out of the total ticket sales pool to T5 winners and how much they keep?  (Out of all they money they take in via T5 ticket  sales, what percentage is allocated to T5 players with winning tickets and what percentage does the state keep?)

Guys, I hate to say it, but I think something has changed with T5, and I'm suspicious it isnt how many players are playing.  I'm guessing that The State of New York has quietly been increasing the percentage of the total sales pool that they keep.  I dont believe the number of T5 players has shrunk.  The overall US economy is lousy, but that tells me lottery ticket sales are probably UP!!!  I know that sounds crazy, but I recently read an article in my local newspaper about that very thing.  People that dont have much money (for whatever reason) tend to buy more lottery tickets than those that do have discretionary money to spend. Think about this fact: more lottery tickets are sold in low income neighborhoods than in upscale neighborhoods. Many government legislators in many states are against having a state run lottery because they say it's a voluntary tax on people who can least afford it. They also claim people are playing with money they received from welfare or other government assistance programs.

For a long time, Friday night jackpots payouts were more than $100,000.  That hasnt happened for a long time. Instead jackpots keep declining.  Today a T5 jackpot is worth 66 to 69 grand.  I think the number of T5 players has remained steady.  Players LOVE the game.  I just dont believe the amount of people that buy T5 tickets has been steadily shrinking over the years.

Why would the state keep more of the ticket sales?  Because the State of New York government is so desparate for money is my guess. Everybody that lives in this state knows the state government is practically broke!

WOW! A 3 digit repeat & 1 digit -skip 1.  No jackpot winner, 2nd was ONLY $913.  The 37 has now hit 5 out of the last 7 plays.

Now for the missing digits --- 6, 16 ,21, 35 all out over 20 plays.

I havent been paying attention to T5 and I should be!!!!  That's because I'm playing extra bucks on SM.  But fear not.  I'm comming back to T5, probably after the first of the year.

I didnt update my T5 spreadsheet yesterday, so I misssed that almost quadruple repeat.  Triple repeaters are rare enough, but I wonder if there's ever been a quad repeat.  My guess is there hasnt been one.

By a quad repeat, I mean back to back drawings with 4 repeating numbers.  There's been 38 or 39 times the same set of 5 numbers has been drawn, but that's never happened in back to back drawings.
