Kap, not to put you information overload, but I've been doing some thinking about SM.
I used the US Lotteries website to tell me a few things about the SM numbers drawn in 2010, 2011, and 2012. (I broke out each year separately)
In each of those three years, there were only 4 numbers that were drawn more than 20 times during the year. Each year, the numbers were different, but the one thing each year had in common with the other two years is they all had 4 numbers that were drawn greater than 20 times. A number being drawn 24 times in one year is ALOT. That's 24 out of 104 drawings, or 23 percent of the drawings held in each year. Most numbers are drawn about 16 times per year or in 15 percent of the drawings.
So what does this mean for 2013?
Well, right now, there are 8 numbers that have a good shot at being drawn more than 20 times in 2013. The 40 leads the way having been drawn 17 times in 2013. The other seven numbers have all been drawn 16 times this year. (They are: 10, 11, 14, 16, 18, 23 & 25) I think possibly 3 numbers in that set, and the 40 will get hot in the remaining 30 drawings of this year and go past the 20 line. Because of that, I'm gonna play them heavy between now and year end.
There are three numbers sitting at having been drawn 15 times YTD, but they'd have to be drawn in 6 of the remaining 30 drawings this year to break the 20 barrier. Any number that's been drawn 14 times or less this year probably wont even make it to 20. Of course any number could get super hot and come from way behind and blow past 20, but I kind of think that's not gonna happen.
