With bonus number 8 on every line, how well did all those lines pay?

I've convinced myself that spot plays are the best way to play the baby games because showing a profit by playing every drawing, is usually betting $3500 annually to win under $1000. Some of the little games are played daily too and without sound playing and betting strategies, it might require winning the jackpot to show a profit.

"We men have to play little games."

My state has no little games unless you call a 4/33 + 1/31 played every day with a $200,000 jackpot a little game. Have any strategies; a four number match pays $2000?

Or should I play a more manly game like PB or MM?

When you say spot plays I assume you are saying time your bet really well?  Or are you maybe referring to focusing on pair bets, which although they pay less, if you dont bet for a month then spot a pair you can easily play 5 dollars on a pair, netting a small respectable profit.

I would use the same strategies I use for a 4/33 game that I use for all the games.  Check your high freqency numbers in Last 5/100, focus on 0 and 1 day skip, and look for those geometric type patterns, and adjacent walks.

I would actually consider PB and MM, more of a "madmans" manly game.  The best I have ever gotten was 3/5, which pays a pittance of approximately 7 bucks.

It is the only game where all five numbers regularly have a skip of ten games or more.  No other game produces 5 Long shot number results consistently.

              P.S.

Congrats to ronnie, getting that bonus ball 8 finally

and congrats kosmic for 4/12 correct in maddogs.  I hope you had a lucky wheel.

Having the correct bonus number on all lines pays a minimum of DOUBLE what was spent.

I would consider being called a MM/PB "madman" a compliment. Yes Nod

"When you say spot plays I assume you are saying time your bet really well?"

A spot play is a horse betting term that means the bet is only made under curtain conditions and not every race. Those type of spot plays are generally selective conditions that produce a $30 or more payoff on the winners. For lottery use it might include identifying patterns, something that may trigger the pattern, and only playing when the pattern exists. In either type of wagering, it's not betting more when the conditions exist, but only betting when the conditions do exist.

"Or are you maybe referring to focusing on pair bets, which although they pay less, if you dont bet for a month then spot a pair you can easily play 5 dollars on a pair, netting a small respectable profit."

Using your example, it's similar to one player betting their phone number on every pick-4 drawing and another player waiting to play until they notice several of the pairs that make up the combo are drawn. Both players could spend the same amount each year, but by playing less drawings, the second player could bet more on fewer drawings and collect more when they both win.

"I would actually consider PB and MM, more of a "madmans" manly game."

Some madmen will be out buying tickets for the $260 million jackpot. Instead of betting $10 on every drawing, they wait for a much higher jackpot and purchase 100 or more tickets. Ticket sales will probably be about $45 million and if the jackpot rolls, all the madmen will jump into the next drawing and double the ticket sales. Two more rolls and the jackpot will be over $1/2 billion and some of the average players will be madmen too.

"Congrats to ronnie, getting that bonus ball 8 finally"

If Ronnie doesn't key on the same bonus number every drawing, it's a form of a spot play too. And even if he did, it's still probably a much better than average play using 10 or more lines every drawing.

I like the idea of 10 or more lines every drawing. But so far I have only been able to get 5 lines together for regular community type lines. People seem very reluctant to share their regular numbers and I suppose I cant blame them if they think they have winning numbers and they don't want to share.

I have even considered playing the "fortune cookie numbers, but its only a single line.

                      The winning numbers were: 22, 28, 32, 33 and 39

I don't have any regular numbers or combinations, all mines are dynamic.  That requires me to review my strategy after each drawing and do a new work-up before picking combinations for the next drawing which some times can't be done in time to make the community list.  I do however post them of the prediction board if there's still time.

I agree that your way is BETTER and I will continue to do workouts for the draws....

"Regular" numbers to continually play are almost as lazy and weak as QPs, but its the only way I can see having them standing ready at all times for a big win and multiple people can also play them well in advance of the draws so that everyone who plays them is contributing Positive Energy Flow.

I was thinking about the effect of playing the same bonus number on every line. If we play 12 QP lines, a three number match doesn't even cover the cost of the tickets. Because there are 46 bonus numbers, someone might say were getting worse than the overall odds of 40 to 1 by playing the same bonus numbers on every ticket, but the effect of matching the bonus number means every ticket wins.

If we played all 56 numbers on 12 lines with only one bonus number, the worst we could collect is $29 and since 99% of all the winning tickets pay $10 or less, it looks like a no-brainer.

When picking numbers for the work pool, I sometimes play the same bonus number and have hit it on occasion.

In fact, I just might do it for PB tomorrow night.
