Today I was playing my numbers, and the clerk said, "you're a gambling lady",   &  o.k.?  I get my tickets, and he says, "give me a number to play, I'm going to put $100 on it",  I said, "116" and walked out the store.  Didn't check my tickets to see if I had played it.

I played it last night, as 161,  didn't think nothing else of it.

Get home, my son asked me, "what to play momma"?  I said, "611",    and went to sleep.

What do you know?  161 hit midday.P***ed

I gave the number away that I have been playing for the past 2 years.P***ed

I don't know if the clerk played it or not, if he did, I'm sure he won't share or tell me.

The next time someone ask me, "What to play, I"m saying, "6-6-6" P***ed

The Struggle is real!

RJoh, be warned, unscrupulous cashiers can do it on purpose, in case people do not pay attention or misunderstand what's going on, or are just super nice to argue. Then cashiers can get hold of your winning  tickets and cash them through their friends.

That oftentimes I am so involved with choosing numbers, that I forget my keys at the lottery stand.  I have to return from a parking lot and with a wide smile on my face retrieve my keys, as if I am OK, even though it feels quite emberrassing.

Next time just ride a bike, no keys to forget.

My pet peeve just happened.  There was a million dollar Powerball winner in Idaho.  But the woman who won says she checked the numbers and knew she matched 5 white balls, but didn't know what it meant.  So she called her mother (90+ years old) who said she didn't know either, but howz about we jump in the car and book on down to Albertson's and find out.

This is a 60-something year old woman who hasn't even played enough to know that 5+0 is a big deal, and SHE WINS!  I obviously play a whole lot more than her, and I'VE NEVER WON!  ARRGGHHHH!!  Red Devil

I don't buy scratch tickets very often, but occasionally I will ask the clerk to randomly pick the tickets for me.

Kind of like hoping they have that magic touch.   Lep   Most of the time however, the tickets are all losers!   Let It All Out

I turned in a play slip completely filled.. I guess there was a fold on one part of the ticket, and rather than the clerk ask me the number, he just picked something out himself.... Go figure it was the wrong number.... So either I leave my 5 self picks to be bought by somebody coz of one mistake, or I buy the right set of numbers.... I wasn't happy that day.. luckily I had the extra $2

I get angry at myself because still confused what numbers to play

I get tired of being constantly indecisive about what I should or shouldn't do and not waste money at the same time!

That's why it should be legal to give lottery clerks a good smack upside the head on occasion.

Nothing too violent but you know, a good wake up smack.
