what part of jax are you in gator

I'm on the Westside.  As far as the Instant Liability Report, it is a report that shows the lottery the total number of prizes allocated for each prize level in a game and the total amount claimed.  On the report, you'll see a specific prize level listed 4 or 5 times.  For instance, you'll see the $100 prize listed multiple times because the lottery keeps track of each way you can win a specific prize.  For a $100 prize, you can win $10 ten times, or you can win $25 four times or you can get a 10X symbol times $10.  The usefulness of the report is that it shows you the number of prizes claimed and that is strongly correlated to total ticket sales.  For top prizes, you can make a relatively decent projection as to whether a top prize is due.

The Florida lottery, like most lotteries, award all prizes (including top prizes) in a series of pools as tickets are sold.  For example, lets look at the $200 Million Spectacular.  It has 20 top prizes of $1M.  Therefore, for every 5% of ticket sales, a top prize is released.  All top prizes will be claimed when the ticket sales near 100% (20 prizes x 5% released).  This avoids the possibility that all or most of the top prizes are claimed while there are a lot of tickets unsold.  For the $200MS, I can see that 94% of total tickets have been sold and 94% of all prizes have been claimed.  However, there are still 2 top prizes left.  As a result, one of the top prizes are close to be released if its not already in the market.  The opposite is true as well.  If you have a game with 4 top prizes and 2 have been claimed, that means 2 are left.  If you look at the report and see that only 66% of the tickets have been sold, you know that it is unlikely that one of the 2 remaining top prizes will be released until the ticket sales hit about 75%.  The system is not perfect, but when I was tracking this for several games on a monthly basis I was able to predict when top prizes were going to be awarded within a week of the prize being awarded.  So I was basically able to anticipate when a top prize would be in circulation.  However, Florida is a large state and I could not predict the location (e.g., Pensacola vs Key West).  Also, some games like the Florida Cash have so many prizes that it is very difficult to work the system because there are too many top prizes and ticket sales are still high which means data becomes obsolete quickly.

In any event, I know this is a long explanation but hopefully it makes sense.  I am going to try to post the latest 100X instant liability report here.  It is very difficult to get the formatting correct because the lottery emails me the report in a text document, not word or excel.

Column 1 is the prize amount and each way of winning that prize.

Column 2 is the total number of prizes awarded for that prize level.

Column 3 is the total dollar value of the prizes awarded at each prize level.

Column 4 is the total number of prizes claimed for that prize level.

Column 5 is the total value of the prizes claimed for that prize level.

Column 6 is the total number of prizes left for each prize level.

Column 7 is the total value of the remaining prizes.

@Gatorsrok, would you be willing to share the list of stores that still have 100X, preferrably in Pinellas County.

@Luckjax, I REALLY hope that is more than a 100$ prize!! I would have went nuts over so many money bags, I have never seen that before.

A lot of symbols! The most I have seen on one ticket.

          Either $100, $200, $500, or $1000...

            Hey GATORSROK

In your illustration of $200MS it shows  94% of tickets are sold. Since the game will be ending Oct 2018 - does that mean the remaining 6% will be sold over the next 3 years and 3 months ?

The game is about 7 years old and it took 7 years to sell 94% - if all the numbers are correct I would assume very few tickets will be in circulation over the next 3 years and 3 months to sell the 6% ? I was never good at math or logic or reading - can you shed some light on this ? Thanks.

@bikeforsale - they do not typically charge for the reports assuming that you don't go overboard and ask for 10+ of them.  I usually ask for 5 in a request and they provide them free of charge.  They reserve the right to charge if the request is going to take them a lot of time.

@skeptic - based on my discussions with the lotto folks, they try to keep games going long enough for all of the top prizes to be awarded.  In most games, this usually happens.  However, the $200MS is so old, they they have to pull the plug at some point.  I think by giving until 10/18, the remaining prizes should be awarded.  I think one of the top prizes will be awarded within a month or so.  However, the last prize may take about a year before it goes because so few stores sell the game anymore.

@luckjax - you can't keep us all in suspense.  What was the payout from the Super Millions ticket?  Since I'm a gambling man, I think it was $500 ($20 x 10 and $30 x 10).

I know 100X are still available at:

Liquor Store in Ocala across from BP at US 27/441/301 and CR 475

Sunoco in Micanopy on 441 and Chevron at Exit 374 I-75

Kwik Stop on SW 16th in Gainesville just east of 441

Haven't been there but I'm pretty sure the Qwik Stop on 34th St in Gainesville just north of Archer probably still has them since they have 6 rolls of every game going at the same time.

Based on Gatorsrok's information, we're looking at around 440,000-450,000 total tickets remaining in 100X based on somewhere between 98.3-99% of sales.

The remaining $100 prizes seems to confirm this. With approximately 1 $100 winner per roll of 40 tickets, there should be about 11,247 rolls left (I say 11,250 to round up). That would be 450,000 tickets but we probably have to take into account $100 winners that were erroneously discarded.

The $150 prizes of 3,234 at 1 per 150 also seem to confirm this. 450,000/150 = 3,000 or so, so about 200 might have been discarded.

There are 212,000 prizes left and 440,000-450,000 tickets. Seems based on that the odds might have fallen to around 2.04 so it could be possible to break even.

With 11,250 Rolls and knowing that a $1M prize should be awarded every 16,000 rolls, it appears there may be 1 or 0 $1M prizes remaining or there could be more.

I still hold out hope because the highest serial of a winning ticket was 1-024 or something of that nature and I've seen as high as 1-070 at the Chevron. There has to be some Million Dollar winners left.

At 1 in 6,000,000 or every 150,000 rolls there should be a $5M winner. Based on serial sequencing, it should be sometime after serial 950,000 but before 1,070,000. I think the $5M may still be in play.

That being said,  I don't know what to think. You guys that found the $5K should be proud the number left was almost as low as winning a top/runner up prize. I'd be happy with $20K or $50K but it seems just as unlikely as finding a big winner.

i think you are right Skeptic, aside from that a top prize on a 20 or 25 dollar ticket has never been won in this part of jacksoncille, as far as i can track there have been 2 second place prized, 50k for life on the yellow ticket, and 1mill on the first 25 dollar ticket, rarely see any of the 10, 20 k winner signs, i know better than to play here, but the carry all the tickets, i can still get high roller tickets, spectacular 100k for life, all of them produce squat

                            biggest hit 10k, Jubilee, 5K Miami Heat, 2K Emerald 8s, 1k jubilee, 1k GRT, 1k heat wave, multiple 500's

I went back out to the Food and Lotto store in East Orlando last night and purchased:

                              6 x  $10 $200 Million Spectacular (3 off 2 different rolls):  Won $20, $50, the rest losers.  Up $10

                              4 x $20 Super Millions (2 off 2 different rolls): Won $30, $20, the rest losers.  Down $30

                              2 x $20 $200,000 For Life, Both losers.  Down $40

                              4 x $25 100x the Cash (2 off 2 different rolls)  All losers.  Down $100

                              4 x $25 Florida Cash (2 off 2 different rolls).  Won $25, $25, $100, $25.  Up $75

                              2 x $20 Flamingo Fortune.  Won $20, then loser.  Down $20

Down $105 for the day.  100x The Cash major disappointment, again.  I'm going to stop playing this one it just sucks too bad to continue.
