RESULTS ARE IN !!

Only bought $500 worth of GR and got back $225 - I just didn't feel right about any of these newer tickets -  GR and that new $25.00 - not like I used to feel positive about GRT - now that was a great game and I had the feel for it. $200MS was my next fav

I just checked the florida lottery about $200MS - when you click on the ticket photo - it says it will end October 18 2018 !! Another 3 years ?  I don't get it - that ticket will have been out a total of 10 years ! Why this one so long ??

2018 lol that is friggin ridiculous! The tickets are going to be so deteriorated we will end up scratchin thru the ticket itself. Just look at the yellow LFL right now. I could barely see my numbers after digging away with a quarter the other week. And who could forget BDB, it was like scratching sandpaper !

What the hell is the deal with $200MS though ? Unless you look at the right places its hard to find. Why bother keeping it around ? Anyone know if that $10 Casino ticket is still around ? Hated that ticket

2014 Highest Winner: $500

Understood.  Ugh...hard going all week without playing.  Guess I get my "fix" watching everyone else play.  All the while knowing what some on here report playing is probably 1/50th of what they're actually spending.  I keep EVERY ticket, and frequency of reported wins (vs what is being spent) isn't logical.  I can take a picture of EVERY ticket I've played and lost on, because I keep them all (you know, for that one time I'll need my accountant to offset that "win" with the losses).

But anyway, I do wish every to win, just make sure that those who are ill-informed and are reading this blog, realize that most of the "winners" on here are NOT telling you exactly how much they're spending...

Not hard to go a whole week when you work 14+hour days. I save my losing tickets as well. I find it a little passive aggressive to say that people are being dishonest though. I don't question anyone because it is none of my business. I prefer to count my own money instead of a complete stranger's.

Oy - 14 hour days!  My sympathies to you.  LOL...glad to hear you're keeping it together working those kinds of days.  We gotta get you a living that you can do in half that time! :)  It's time to get your money working FOR you!  :)

I hear you about the second half of your comment.  It isn't any of our business, but for the novice/naiive reader who thinks it's "that" easy, it's not true and they shouldn't think it's "that easy".  There's more to the story.

But, the $100 I "invest/donate" adds to things to my weekly doldrums: a chance at maybe "winning" something; and, a little more fun than I already have.  So - play on!  (or is it, "scratch on!")

So, if the $200MS is so hard to find, and I know a place that has them, what does that mean?  Are these new ones, well-preserved ones?  How can one tell?  I can buy them tonight/tomorrow if I wanted to.  But all the way down here in the South.  Lottery Corp dumping useless supplies on the South with any intentions?  I was prepared to buy 6 tomorrow/weekend as my allotment.

lucid850... I feel for ya, and wished you had had better luck!  However, I applaud you for your honesty when posting to the board.

I am rooting for you!  Play responsibly, don't chase, and hopefully the next ticket is the one that hits big!

Wow, that's not good...my first response to you was blocked because I apparently tried to post a link to photobucket.  That's where I self-learned how to upload pictures here, "direct linking" them in my posts.  I hope that helps...  It might seem amateur to do it that way, but that works for me, for those VERY few decent wins I get to post.

We're neighbors...and I've never really won much, except for a one-time $1000-pop back in Texas.

              Good luck and hello!!

Northerndynasty i don't understand why you are so obsessed about what other people spend on tickets.  Its non of your business how much $ they spend on them, just be thankful that people post pictures and you get to look and see all the cool symbols and different combinations of winners. Also i see people complain daily about how bad the tickets are but they still continue to buy them. Scratch offs is a losing gamble 99% of the time, if you cant handle losing without getting pissed off and complaining then you probably should stop completely. I check this post for pictures and good stories, don't want to see a bunch of cry baby posts. Good luck everyone!

Not "crying", and not incapable of handling, and not getting pissed off.  I play for the reasons I posted earlier: can't win anything if you don't, so why not give it a chance; and, for the the fun of it all.  But those who are new to this blog will get the idea that it's "that easy", because so few of the same people post so often of their "wins".  In the air of fairness to those new to the blog, understand that you just don't always walk in and buy your $25 ticket and just win hundreds and thousands just like that.  It ain't true, and it isn't the standard.  There are folks on here who spend FAR more than they will ever tell you.  Anticipate doing the same, and you just might win once-in-a-while.

'Nuff said on the topic.  Now, on to wishing the best that everyone gets lucky and takes home the big one!  (after me, of course)....

I play mostly at Publix, a few gas stations and sometimes the hole in the wall convenience store. Publix here is 100% new tickets only. They go by the "if it is not meant for the machine we wont order it" rule. So that means the counter has the same games as the machine. The guy who runs the BP and Sunoco station around here has got lazy and just orders loads of the new $25 ticket and a bunch of GR. He will have 4 rolls of GR going before he puts out any other $20 ticket. They sell the best because people are addicted to the odds of hitting $500 on that game, being its bait the lures a lot of us in. I have not seen the OLD Monopoly since the new one came out. Heck, even the new one most places dont carry it. Super Millions is usually at most places but even Flamingo I have to resort to the hole in the wall places to find some. The only place I have seen LFL or 100X in the last 3 months has been the Kennel Club. I would like to play the older games, but I just cant find em.

                              2014 Highest Winner: $500
