GEEZ - all I asked is - what time is it -    LOL

Great great answer - I'm gonna ask TODD to change your handle to "THE HISTORIAN."

Now go get a good winner to post on here before the thread is removed for lack of production,

I tried, and failed. Winner will have to come from someone else.

I went to "Pedro's Food Mart" some rural convenience store on the corner of Marion CR 475 and CR 42. They were out of 100X tickets. So I ventured to that other Pink building Cost Cutter Grocery, but someone bought all their tickets as well.

I ended up at some liquor store across from the BP station on CR 475 near the 27/301/441 Interchange. Don't know what it was called just saw the lotto sign and went in. She had 100X tickets. They were on Serial 994-something so they were new but older than what I've come across.

17 - $25

20 - $50

21 - $25

Essentially a 2 for 1 deal, but still lost $100. Basically have been losing/winning back the same $100 for a couple months now so hopefully I'll get it back next week. Might make a stop to Micanopy again after work.

Maybe someone else has some better win news.

Nice answer zzplayfaster to skeptic's question on the 100X game.  I agree with your analysis....especially the portion dealing with the remaining top prizes.  I believe that at best 1 or 2 $1m prize is actually outstanding and hopefully the $5M prize is out there too.  I think a lot of big prizes were discarded by people who didnt realize they won.  Remember, people were claiming $1M prizes 1-2 times a week since the game came out at the end of 2013.  There has not been a single top prize claimed since March 23rd which was over 2 months ago.  When the last 2% of tickets sell, I bet that only one or two more top prizes get claimed.

In any event, I have been neglectful in posting some of my ticket wins over the past few weeks.  Be mindful that some of these were one and done and some were the result of buying lot of tickets.  The 100X the cash wins were from chasing and the others were one and done.  Even with these wins, I'm still down about $1k over the last month from ticket purchases (most of the loss was from yesterday).

    500 win

I will post the 100X wins next.

Good Wins Gatorsrok, sorry you're still down even with getting them.

I did have a question on the Book Serial numbers. You mentioned awhile back that anything before/after 930,000 indicated whether it was part of the original batch or reorders. How many Tickets equal a book number, is it the 40 from the roll and has 100X always had 40 on the roll? And did they start serial numbers at 0,000,001 when the game began? Reason I ask is because 24,000,000 tickets divided by Books of 40 equals 600,000 Books and the 12,000,000 ticket reorders would be another 300,000 books bringing the total to 900,000 Books, yet the serial numbers are in excess of 1 million now.

I'm trying to get an idea on what the last serial numbers will be around to indicate the truly last of the last tickets. The highest I've seen is 1,043,ish.

It may also open up the door to another idea I didn't think about earlier. If we can figure out the book numbers and where they should be at the end of the game, if it gets identified that there's a significant chunk of book serial numbers in the last reorder batch missing that nobody will recall coming across, we might be able to deduce that the Florida Lottery did not release the entire batch of the last reorder of 6,000,000 tickets. Perhaps they only released 1,200,000 tickets of the last reorder. That could explain why only 2 of the 9 $1M prizes in a batch have been claimed.

Anyone playing 100X currently, can you look at the Book Serial Number (7 numbers after the 1208 on the back) and see what the highest number is you've come across?

        Question for the group...

Is anyone playing any of the $10 games these days?  Anything happening for anyone who is playing them?  I rarely hear people speak of the $10 games; kind of liken them to Mid-Grade gasoline.... ^_^

Quick response to Northerndynasty, the $10 games are kind of lackluster right now.  The $10 Monopoly is out of top prizes.  The $2,000,000 Jackpot only has 1 left.  The $200MS has 2 left.  Only the 50X the Cash and the $2M Gold Rush each have more than 5 top prizes remaining and the odds are brutal for the top prize on the gold rush game.  I play them very sparingly.

For zzplayfaster, I've seen the serial numbers on the back of the 100X go to 1,072,531 and a little higher I believe (1,075,000).  The original books started out at 100,000.  But it may have been 10,000, I can't remember exactly.

There is one thing to remember when a game has an * because it was reordered, the lottery does not necessarily order a proportionate number of new books equal to the overall odds.  They may (and have done so in the past based on a review of the instant liability reports) reorder the game but tilt the distribution in favor of more lower tier prizes.  The rolls have always contained 40 tickets since the game's inception.  If a completely proportionate reorder was done by the lottery, they would have ordered exactly 300,000 more books.  However, often the lottery orders 315,000 new books.  The extra books just dilute the ability to win top prizes because a greater percentage of lower tier prizes are put into the market but the top prizes are increased as if only 300,000 books were released.

On a side note, if you are willing to pay for it, you can obtain the serial number for each winning $1M and $5M ticket claimed for the game.  I did it for the $3M monopoly and it was helpful to know within which range of tickets you may be able to find a top prize.  However, it cost me $80 for the information.  Also, it was extremely frustrating because I was ready to act on the information and someone hit the final $3M prize right within the ticket range I was buying.  I actually bought the book that was 13 serial numbers away from the book with the $3M prize.

Since the game is basically sold out anyways, here was the information I obtained from the lottery on the $3M monopoly.  They actually sent me a photocopy of the back of each winning $3M and $500K ticket.  The winner's name and city was written on the back of the ticket by the actual winner but the address was redacted.  There is still one $500K prize left.  I presumed it was in between book numbers 431,363 and 554,603 because of the significant gap.  However, I believe someone scratched it off and didn't realize they won.  Therefore, I don't believe the prize will ever be claimed.  Also, I'll post the 100X wins later.  I am having trouble uploading the pictures right now.

Thanks for your sentiments on the $10 games.  I was playing the Monopoly games when my weekend investment was $30, but now I'm doing the $5 games but spending $100.

Caught between...having "lots" of chances at winning "something" with the $5 games, or having just a few short chances playing the $20 or $25 games.  What to do....  LOL....

Thanks for the info, as well!!

I played on Thursday at store a little further down the street from me. Bought 2 $20 GR and 2 of the old $20 Monopoly The orange/blue one, this was my 1st time ever seeing it or playing it.

              Lost on both GR

Won $40 on both Monopoly tickets.

This store had a LOT of older tickets like Kings Ransom, and they even had 2 rolls of 100X Cash I will play there again this coming Thursday.

Hi KFLA193 - sorry to hear you didn't do well with GR - you usually come up with some suprising nice wins - but al least you evened out on the Mono.

The oldest scratcher out there is the $10  $200MS - like over 5 or 6 years old, That used to be my best game winning $500's and I think I got around five $1,000's. If you get the mood you might wanna try it if it's at the store with the older tickets. The $500 wins have an * with 10 X 50. or you get * with five times $10.00 for fifty....... I played it the other week and got a $500 (didn't post it) ......... my best win is shown here - that's the ticket I threw out as a dud only to recheck it in the morning and see I didn't scratch one spot - under it was $5000. .............. I triple check my tixs now and I do not drink Heinekins anymore either :):) Won that sept -2010 ~

Just about every store other than Publix has the $10 $200MS. I think I have played it once or twice. I'll give it a try next time.

Don't faint - September 2010. That's the mystery of this game, it's been around so long it still spits out nice wins like the $500 I got a few weeks ago. I wish Gator or ZZ would investigate $200MS - like how many were printed - the nitty gritty details. I wonder WHY the Lottery still keeps it around ? It only has two top prizes left and games with more top prizes were snuffed out in a much shorter lilfe span.

Don't know why, just had to find an excuse to buy some tickets again today.  I swear I don't know why.  I must've hit about 15 stores (that is NO exaggeration - from Ma & Pas to the big names), I looked and looked and LOOKED for the Gold Rush Triplers and the $200Kyr/life tickets, but absolutely could find NONE, anywhere!

I took my "winnings" from yesterday (the $35 back from the $100 investment), and further diversified my portfolio by injecting $65 in to it) and made another donation to Education in Florida.  This time, I squeaked-out a little bit better, defying the odds of 1 in 2.95:

Settled on the: $600,000 Gold Rush Game #1249.  5 tickets, Ticket #'s 25 through 29 (had that little black square beside the ticket #; does that mean half-way through the roll?!)

                          Ticket# 25 = nothing

                          Ticket# 26 = single match = $100 (yay me!)

                          Ticket# 27 = 2X ($10) = $20 (pic not shown; if you must see a $20 win, I'll post it)

                          Ticket# 28 = nothing

                          Ticket# 29 = single match = $40

                          GR $40 win

                          GR $100 win

5 tickets; 3 of 5 were winners.  Total investment THIS round: $100; total winnings THIS round: $160 (net +$60)

Like any pilot will tell you: "Any landing you can walk away from, is a good landing."

This time when I say, until next weekend, I'll just hang around and watch...

                          Good luck all!

Congrats on all the wins! With so many close together, I wonder what the rest of that roll was like. Also, the black boxes mark the beginning and end of the roll I believe.

As for Gold Rush Tripler, I have not seen it for sale anywhere either. If I ever come across it, I will certainly buy it though.

Sorry, I don't have any info on $200MS,

                              But for 100X....

HOWEVER, the most interesting thing I found from the Facebook page of the FL Lottery Website where a few of the $1M winners are posted.

Michael Price from Lutz's $1M winner 26 Feb was serial number 1208-1018380

Another $1M winner posted a Week earlier was serial number 1208-0971562

Another $1M winner posted same day was serial number 1208-993544

Another $1M winner posted same day was serial number 1208-0904322

(That was the time that 3 winners came forward on the same day.

Robert Bognar's $1M winner posted Feb 9 was serial number 1208-0975676

There's no pic of Daniel Crumley's winning ticket on the FB page. He is the only other winner after the others listed above to have since claimed a $1M prize.

On average, there should be a $1M winner approximately every 17,000 books of tickets. Looking above, 2 prizes were bunched with 4,000 books, but then it returned to normal If I had to guess on Crumley's serial number, I'd say it was in the 1208-1002000 range or somewhere around there.

The bottom line is that there have been no reported $1M winners with a serial number higher than 1208-1018380. Yet, I've come across serial numbers as high as 1,04,ish and Gatorsrok as seen as high as 1,075,000

Let's assume for a moment that Crumley's win was indeed a serial number before Michael Price's 1018380

If 17,000 is the average between winners, there should be a $1M at approximately:

                              1,035,380

                              1,052,380

                              1,069,380

                              1,086,380

So some winners may still be available, The rolls could be held up in those qwik stores where they have a backlog of rolls in storage. I mean, look above on the day there were 3 winners that claimed prizes on the same day. one of those winners was from a much older roll (904,322) than the other 2 (993,544/971,562).

Without knowing Crumley's Serial number, I think odds are good there at least 3 (maybe 4) $1M prizes still out there.

As for the $5M winner, the last one claimed in February was around the same time as the 3 that came forward. There's normally a $5M winner every 150,000 books. If Carlos Richard's serial number is 1208-930000 or less, chances are good that there is indeed 1 $5M prize remaining. If it's higher than 1208-980000, then it's less likely, and if it's somewhere in between, it could go either way.
