Bought seven $200M Spectacular today, lost on three and won $10, $20, $20, $100.

Nice to finally depart from the seemingly-never-ending string of losers. I might stick with this ticket for a while.

nice one Mr.Gray !! It's amazing this game that's about 6 years old still spits out nice wins. Here's one from about 4 or 5 years ago. I threw it in the garbage thinking it was a dud. Next morning I pulled it out of the garbage to double check. I didn't scratch off one spot - under it was $5,000 ! I triple check my tickets now !!

      wins: $10,000 Jubilee - $5,000 $200MS - 31 $1k's - 185 $500's - 5 $400's

Amazing win Skeptic.  The largest amount I have one on a scratcher is 1K.  I have won 1K 6 times.  $500 more times than I can count back with the old $20 Gold Rush running at the same time as the $20 Billionaire Blockbuster.  Both of those scratchers were fantastic.

I 've seen you post some great wins over the years WBRIGHTFL - seems the old tickets we used to play paid out a LOT better than the $20 -$25 garbage that's out there now. I cleaned house with GRT ! Got 6 $500's in one day !! For me the excitement of playing has diminished ...

The old tickets do seem to be best. I've been thinking of playing the Lucky $200k A Year for Life game again, which I played years ago, but on the last few I purchased recently it seemed to just about take a hammer and chisel to get it to scratch. Had to be careful not to destroy the printing on the card underneath while trying to remove the scratch-off material.

I agree completely.  The good old days are over, at least until we get someone with integrity running the Florida Lottery.  Greed and poor management has ruined a once fun hobby for me.  Now I have a better chance to win some cash by going to the casino and playing blackjack.

I've bought some and know what you mean. I think the worst was BillionDollar Blockbuster - they were OK from the get go but as time went on you could hardly scratch them - I scratched right thru the ticket several times - about that time the Lottery pulled the game and it had something like $500M lof prize $$ left. They pulled it without any notice or fanfare - I remember that guy in Port Charlotte who first won I think $1M and then a few months later get, was it $10M ????

Weird how some people win multiple times ..... especially in small towns .....

I remember OLDSCHOOLHITS - he complained about how hard it was to scratch BDM - I told him to soak the tickets in soapy water - they scratch real easy after that   LOL ..... I don't know if he did it or not !!! LMAO !!

                  Soak them, HA!

A weak dilution of acetone applied very lightly with a sponge might actually work well. If I encounter a particularly tough ticket I may tape it into quadrants and experiment with a few solutions just to see.

I can say I have not bought a ticket in couple days and glad I am staying away. It's not good when nobody on here has win anything good and the lotto site only has $100 winners talk about sad. You risk $20 to have crazy bad odds to win what profit of $80 that's a joke.

Dont complain too hard about the difficulty in scratching, thats the reason lottery used to pull BDB with 47 1 million dollar winners remaining.  On a brighter note a co worker hit a thousand on the new flamingo, 2x500, bought a single ticket

                      biggest hit 10k, Jubilee, 5K Miami Heat, 2K Emerald 8s, 1k jubilee, 1k GRT, 1k heat wave, multiple 500's

good luck in the chase 2013 wins, maybe 4 500's

Nice hit for your co-worker.  The odds on the $1,000 and up prizes on the Flamingo game are not too bad.  It is the middle tier prizes ($150-$500) that are horrible.  They really should have eliminated the $150 and $400 prize levels and just made the $200 and $500 prize reasonable to hit.

In any event, the BDB was a pain in the butt to scratch.  I can't remember how many times I nearly scratched through a number.  It is a shame, since that was really the last good $20 game released in a long time.

                          Hey brother,

$10 tixs are okay, but I really like the odds with the $3tix. Check out the possible prizes and tell mem what you think.
