hummm... Interesting.
Beating the house? Well, I wouldn't say "beating" the house is possible, but exploiting probabilities IS possible. Here's the twist that people are going to say is the funniest. I used to just randomly pick numbers and such just like gamblers do. I lost plenty of money over the years, just as many have and most likely still do. Being the thinker that I am, I started to think... there's got to be a way. So I started studying (i wanted to win) and about 5 years later... I'm winning.
Now, I say that to say this. The numbers didn't change. The "house" didn't change. The odds, didn't change. I CHANGED! I figured that I would start paying (no pun) attention to the loosers. Why are they loosing, what type of attitude do they have, what numbers are they playing (grannies blood pressure readings) etc. I started doing the opposite. With a plan, some discipline, a bankroll (large or small), resources, winning spirit, you can win more than you loose. I do... every week consistantly. Won the C4 on both draws yesterday and C3 midday today in GA. Not bragging, just stating the facts.
I'm sure that you CAN win consistantly. You can't tell me that there isn't a bet or bets, in Vegas that'll give you a high chance of winning. The key is NOT to keep betting. I'm not the guy to "gamble" and have fun with. It's business if my money is on it. I play to win. Before I started playing the lotto, I would go with some money, place about 3-5 bets and walk out with 2x - 5x what I came in with 15 minutes ago. I don't really like the whole dance, but I do like to invest in things for profit. I'm not blowing smoke, and I'm not selling anything. I don't even use all of these sytems, tools, and such. Hey if they work for you then go for it. I just use common sense and let the lottery and time do the work.
I just hope that you all can beleive that there ARE people out there winning these games consistantly. Funny thing is that when asked, I tell people how I play and that I'm a C3/C4 winner, they smile, ask for advice, ask for the numbers that i play, and jump up and down. When I see them in a couple of days, I ask them if they won the drawing last night, they say "no, but those darn doubles are due." They just go back to what/how they were doing...losing.
If you step back and really focus as if it's a business, you can win! As far as LP... ehhh can you really evaluate someones skill by looking at the scoreboard? Only if they are focused on one game, in one particular state or something.
After the laughter dies down, let's talk some more. There's some really smart people on LP.
So there's my spin. In all... You WILL lose, but is losing 'really' bad if you "know you're going to win?
