This is in relation to the choose your own numbers games.

We were wondering and guessing based on the game we have seen where you don't get to choose your numbers.

And, with vast cattle hoards of Jackpot Zombies mooing up to the counter anytime the jackpot gets big and just asking for a Quick Pick, are ya ready for Quick Picks only someday?

Quick picks are a 7 seconds transaction and I like that speed. Problem is my quick picks always look like blind dates LOL

    I voted I'd still play.

It depends on what type of lottery you're playing. Jackpot type of games, are usually won by Quick Picks.  But, Pick 3/4 games are usually won, playing your own numbers.  You would lose even more money than you currently lose, playing Quick Picks in Pick 3/4.

Pick 5 games  ???  Maybe it's 50/50 or 60/40 QP Aren't most Pick 5 games won by playing your own numbers [Wheeled]  ??

Being restricted to QP only would almost be like buying raffle tickets and I don't buy raffle tickets except when being sold by a charity organization.

For pick 3? No. Quick picks are very good to me @ $1 str8 then copied 4 times more.

I'd very much miss choosing my own numbers to play. I'd miss the fun of workouts too.

For jackpot games? No. That's how I normally play except for Treasure Hunt. I like to

            choose birth dates.

I like oregon megabucks, mega millions and powerball.  I usually play QP's for those games unless we get chinese food then I might add those numbers for oregon megabucks for a couple of draws and quit playing them.  Then go back to QP's just to see if they are lucky for awhile.-weshar75

                LOL at that imagery.

                I just got a PB quick pick today.  43  45  47  51  55  PB 6

Don't like it, but it could happen!

I wouldn't quit playing if the only choice was a QP but I'd sure play a lot less.  I spend most of my money on numbers I've been playing for years and now I'm afraid to quit playing them lest they pop up and I have to kill myself.

Wow. All high numbers. First 5 are all odd numbers. Those look like most of my quick picks Dead. Lol on the blind date thing. Good luck on your PB ticket.

No, I only play QPs, gave up my own #s so I could skip games.

I remember when California lottery started you couldn't pick your own #s

not exactly a QP though, the tix were scratchers, don't remember but I think Pennsylvania & Jersey did it the same way,

it was the easy way for them to get started.

From the PB website FAQ page:

WHICH HAS THE BETTER CHANCE OF WINNING: COMPUTER PICKS OR PLAYER PICKS?
About 70% to 80% of purchases are computer picks. About 70% to80% of winners are computer picks. Perhaps just one of those weird coincidences?

I'll say it again, one of the most entertaining things about these forums is that people who claim to be opposed to quick picks can't wait to buy raffle tickets.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

There is a benefit to only playing QPs: "your numbers" will never be drawn if you forget or don't play a drawing.

It also depends on the game for me, but I would probably continue to play even if I could only do quick picks.
