Thomas,
If the balls don't carry any designations, then how do you know how to play? And actually, programs like WINHunter attempt to predict based on the concept of predicting what WON'T happen...
As in your case of predicting the BB pattern. Right off the bat, I know the pattern will most likely be in a particular location. IN otherwords, if you set a rule to throw in a particular direction, say, at a target, then I know the pattern CANNOT exist behind you, etc. IN the case of lottery draws, using analysis, I attempt to predict what WON'T happen, and then invert the output, thus the prediction of what WON'T happen turns into what MIGHT happen.
Take for example this scenario. Let's say the number 5 has been drawn 3 draws in a row. Now let's say for this particular history, that NO NUMBER has ever repeated more than three times in a row. What would you assume? A> % will be drawn again, or B> 5 will NOT be drawn again. Please explain your answer choice, because both have validity. There are tons of other scenarios just like the above example, that are revealed in number analysis.
You ask, how does a program like WINHunter increase your odds? USing WINHunter, you can eliminate (approx) 0-50% of the balls from play and still have captured (approx) 20%-50% of the winning jackpot numbers in the final predictions.
Are there any guarentees with software like this? No. Are there any guarentees with a Quick pick? No. The main difference, is that you can see the trends of a system (WINHunter will trend a system against an entire history, and show you how it performed), whereas you CANNOT trend a quickpick.
BTW, I am not a mathmetician, nor do I have a degree in mathematics. Actually, WINHunter does not calculate nor determine what numbers to eliminate based upon percentages, as where other programs do. The WINHunter concept would not function with a percentage based system, which is 0-100%. The WINHunter system is based upon a scoring system, which can range from a negative number to a positive number, no scale applied. Is the WINHunter system a fixed system? No. Actually it is very Dynamic, and could/most likely be very different from user to user. WINHunter is a Filter Designer/Analysis tool. It is designed to help you test number prediction theories against lottery historical data, and optimize them.
