Just got out of the ER.

I got out of the emergency room (see my last entry to know what happened). I am incredibly greatful thet the ARA of Bush (the other bulding in the complex) took me to the hospital. I'm also greatful that the head residence life person's kids (who were attending the event) were nowhere in sight when the thing happened because had they been there, they would have probably learned a few "choice" words from me.

An eventful day.

Well, I was volunteering at OktoberfEAST, an OU event, and me and someone were rolling out an insulation box (You know. The thing that keeps food warm.) and we hit a ledge, and the thing, carrying approx.150-200 lbs. of food, tipped over...and landed on my foot. It really hurts right now, and I think I may have to go to the emergency room to see how much damage I did. I bandaged it up, and stopped the bleeding, but I may have a broken toe or a fracture or something like that. Right now, I'm pretty much trying to walk it off. I also did a stand-up routine at open-mic night at the Baker Student Center. It went over pretty well. I got a lot of laughs. The only downside was that because I picked the last time slot, a lot of people left before seeing my routine. I was really nervous beforehand though. I was sweating harder than Michael Jackson in a room full of 8 year-olds earlier.

Ever have one of those moments where you want a meeting to be over?

Today's tRAC (the Residents' Action Council) meeting was extraordinarily long (1 hour and 30 minutes. They usually last for less than an hour.). We had 5 votes today, and 4 of the 5 were on the same subject: Giving funding for a program. We tried voting on half the person's asking amount (The person screwed up the funding norm, so the majority usually went with "no".) The first vote was "no", so one fourth of the amount was proposed, and that got a bigf "no". Both sides had a big discussion about both sides of the issue. The person's asking amount was one-sixth of the budget to be used by all residence halls, was intended for use on 12 people. The next vote (which was proposed by me) was to give the person nothing. The first 11 (12 votes total) were for "yes" on giving the person nothing, but the twelth voted "no". The last of the votes on the issue were for approx. $100. The vote turned out to be tied, and in the event of a tie, the chairperson (she wasn't at the meeting at the time. She had somewhere else to be) has to break the tie. So now, representatives from both sides are going to contact her to innorm her of both sides of the issue. The meeting ended a few minutes later, and then I explained to Erica that the meeting ran late.

I Finally Found these Songs.

I finally found these songs from DDR Max: Dance Dance Revolution and DDR Max 2: Dance Dance Revolution. The songs are called "Tomorrow Perfume" by DJ Taka and "Candy". I don't know the artist responsible for "Candy", but I remember that it is the song you hear after you do your 3 stages playing DDR Max, and it appears on DDR Max 2. I can now die happier (This does not give anyone the right to kill me.).

Took a Test.

I took my History 316B test today. It covered US foreign relations from World War 1 until the isolationist period in th 20s and 30s. I think i did pretty well. It only took me about an hour to complete the test. I've been studying for it for the past week, so I think I knew my stuff. So all I have left if my tRAC meeting and then me and Erica (my girlfriend) are gonna hang out for a bit. We are both sick right now, but it's making it's way out of our systems.

New Girlfriend.

Well, me and Erica (the girl I met on Thursday) are officially a couple, and I'm on top of the world. She's the coolest girl in   the world. Me and her have so much in common. I think I'm gonna be with her for a while. Well, back to my RA duty.

I met a girl,and we kissed.

Well, before my FILM 201 class, i met this girl named Erica. She's only a freshman, but anyway, she told me she was having computer problems. I told her that I would fix her problem (it was an easy thing to fix.). I went to her dorm, and fixed her problem. We got to talking, and we have a lot (almost everything) in common. She also laughs at my humor. Anyway, time went by, and eventually we were making out. I really like her, and I think she really likes me.

Wal-Mart.com

Remember that previous entry about buying things online? Well, Wal-Mart.com has not only ignored the fact that I cancelled the order and shipped it out, but when they said it would take 2-3 days, it took a week. Ok. That looks like unfair business practices when Im paying for the quicker shipping, but Wal-Mart is pocketing some of that money, and giving me the crappy shipping. If Sam Walton weren't dead, I'd tell him where he can stick it. F*** Wal-Mart, the Walton family, and all their companies. I'm sick and tired of it. I also went to Wal-Mart today to buy a few things. I had to take Q-tips off that list because th smallest container I could buy was 200. I really needed rubber gloves for dying my hair, so I bought the 50 pack for $4.25 (I'll admit it. For the quantity, it was a good deal, and they are reliable gloves), but I'm just sick of how Wal-Mart cheating people out of their money.

DDR Extreme!

Well, DDR Extreme for PS2 came today, but I have only been playing it using the controller and not the pad.  Yesterday, I was supervising the dunking booth at a tRAC (an organization I am in) activity. I threw about 100 pitches, and dunked the person about 20-40 times.  Afterward my shoulder really hurt.  Today it's my whole body.  I have trouble getting out of my bed, and out of chairs.  My parents came to visit me today.  They took me to dinner.  Dinner sucked.  The resturaunt put no seasonings on the food.  Anyway, I had trouble walking around, and should probably be in the emergency room right now, but I'm still going.

I Swear I Will Never Order Anything Online!

Well, I had to cancel my DDR Extreme order because walmart.com screwed it up, which caused it to be delayed.  I found out 12 hours after I cancelled it that they didn't loook at the fact that it was cancelled, and shipped it out.  Anyway, after I cancelled the walmart order, I ordered it off of gamestop.com.  Well, they marked it off as the wrong item, and almost shipped it out, but I contacted them just in time, and they took care of it.  I wound up ordering DDR Extreme, and it will be in my possession in a matter of time.  With walmart, I just have to ship it back, and they are goijng to take care of postage.  Here's what I've learned.  The Internet is not perfect.  People make mistakes.  I WILL NEVER BUY STUFF ONLINE FORM WALMART.  I will also never order anything online again.

My Ex (SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME OUT!).

Well, since me and my ex decided to stay friends, we've been hanging out.  We hung out today for a little while.  Before I left she kissed me on the lips.  I'm really liking me and her being friends more than  us being lovers.  Someone please help me out.  I don't know what to do.

Courage.

Well, I came clean and admitted to the girl I met that I think she's cute.  Now it's just a matter of time until she replies.  Anyway, here's what else happened this weekend.  I bought a jar of what I thought was red hair dye.  Well, my hair is pink now.  If all else fails, I can use it to teach a lesson in heterosexism.  I took a few of my residents bowling on saturday night.  I came in dead last, just behind one of the resident's girlfriend.  Afterward, I hung out with my pal Bob, who if Todd got to know, Todd would love him like a son.

Met a girl last night.

I went to J-Con, the OU anime club, last night.  The showings were ok, but the more important thing was that I met a girl at it, and I think I like her, and I think she likes me too.  I'm gonna try to do something with her sometime in the near future.  I think I may have moved on since my ex.

An Eevntful Night

Last night was rather eventful.  First, one of my residents' friends contacted me to ask for legal advice.  Next, a resident broke a toilet in the guy's bathroom  Emergency Maintenence did not like getting called to come over at 12:30.  They got everything cleaned up.  I am not allowed to say the details of the last thing that happened, but I will mention this.  I had to call the OU Police Department.

John Edwards on the OU campus.

Well, Mr. Heinz's partner in crime visited the OU campus, so from 5:00 until a few minutes ago, I was in  the Baker University Center because I really couldn't get to my dorm, and the tRAC meeting was in there, so I figured I would hunker down there until the meeting.  I got to the third floor, and was greeted by the bomb squad, dog and all.  I really had to go to the bathroom, and the guy said that I could not leave the floor, and I was unaware that there was a bathroom on the floor, so I asked the guy if there was a bathroom on the floor.  He said there was, but he would have to escort me in there for security reasons.  That was pretty cool though.  How many people can say that they had a police escort to the bathroom?
