When things do not go right in your estimation, you were expecting something else. I have told you not to expect, but I do tell you to look ahead. Looking ahead is different from expecting. Start with what you want and how you want it, and work back from there.

If health is your issue, if you are in pain and bedridden, start from where you want to be, in good health and freed from your bed.

Don't start from where you are now. That will keep you where you are. That will keep you in the pain-ridden bed.

You must step out of your circumstances. In your mind, step out.

If you are working on a project, start from the end. Start from the finished project. What will it look like? How will you feel?

Always look at what you want and how you want it. This is not to be confused with always looking at the outcome! Looking at the outcome is doing something for a particular defined reward. It really is saying that something must turn out the way you want. That is not the same as a picture. Think of what you want. Keep it in mind. At the same time as you get busy creating it, you are letting the outcome go, for you become involved in the process.

Working from the end back to where you are now gets you out of outcome and expectation. It becomes the starting place rather than what must happen.

If you are a potter, you really don't start with the clay. You may not have an image or shape in mind, but you will have a sense of something wonderful happening to and from the clay in your hands.

When you take things step by step from the beginning, all the steps may seem arduous. Starting from the end and working backwards is starting from your desire.

Your desire will carry you. Starting from where you want to be takes you forward.

A pregnant woman looks forward to her baby. She already loves the baby. She may have loved it before it was physically conceived.

You are pregnant with ideas. Love them. And make them come true. But be not attached to the outcome.

The baby doesn't have to be a boy or a girl.

Your dream house may be different from the house you dreamed of.

You may have dreamed of stardom. Maybe you won't wind up on the movie screen or on Broadway or on tour, but you will carry stardom with you.

Keep your mind off problems. They can get along without you. And you certainly don't need to occupy yourself with them. They don't give you impetus. They wear you out instead.

Have I confused you? I tell you not to concern yourself with outcomes, and I tell you to start from where you want to be. You will get what I am saying.

You will have layers of desires.

Your ultimate desire is for Me. And you will have Me in full regalia. Our mutual desire pulls you to Me.

On the way to Me, you have other desires that inch or mile you toward Me.

And your desires along your way to Me may change. Fine. Then they have lived their purpose, and other new or long-lost desires will appear.

You will step over an horizon. Or many.

Keep looking up. Keep looking up at Me.

You have many of My desires to fulfill.

Keep Me in mind.

Sail with Me to the shore you seek, for it is the shore I chose for you.

Your desires are the oars of My boat, and they bring you quickly to Me.

Know why you do something. Know what you are going for. Know the dream you are going for. Know what is behind your dream. Know the deeper dream. It will be for more than your willfulness.

Remember that you do not need to prove anything. When you follow a path to prove something, you are not following your path. You are following someone else's.

You do not need to show anyone anything.

Let your desires be true to your heart. Let them be big enough. The desire itself is fulfillment. This is true what I say.

Desire and fulfillment are two ends of the same string. Within your desire is the fulfillment. Fulfillment without your desire is not fulfillment. It is spillage. It is leftovers.

You will have enough desires when you allow yourself them. Desires spring anew when they are welcomed. Be desireful, but not have to have a result. Have desires. Culture them. They will weave your life right up to Heaven.

Hero worship is giving up your freedom. It is giving responsibility for your welfare to another. That makes you responsible to another rather than to yourself or to Me. But they will not be responsible to you. They will be responsible to themselves, and that is how you allow yourself to be used.

I will use you. I will use you like a wand that swirls light as it is waved. I will use you for the betterment of all, not just for one or another. And I never leave you out or forget you or pander to your weaknesses. I don't take advantage.

Seek fame and glory with Me, no other.

Join Me, not packs of human beings who know not whom or what they follow, but they follow anyway because they imagine that someone ahead knows where he is going.

Follow Me.

Be the single one if you have to.

And then others will follow you. But you will tell them Whom you follow. You will not set yourself up as an idol. You will reveal yourself as a follower.

Who was so great a follower as Christ?

Who followed Me better? or as well?

Christ did not follow the mind of man.

He followed the heart of God.

He did not hark to the blather of men.

He harkened to Me.

And that is all I ask of you.

Harken to your wealth.

Harken to your joy.

Harken to truth.

Be led by truth, not others' fancies.

No one comes between you and Me.

I do not reveal Myself to one and not another.

I reveal Myself to you.

You and I are paramount.

You and I ride a white steed together.

Ride your own horse. Don't be carried in a wagon.

Ride up front with Me.

Can you imagine anything more wonderful than that?

And that is what you have.

Whether We sail on a ship or ride a horse, it is the same.

We are anointed together.

We are joined together in joy and love, not hardship.

We are united.

We are faster than time. We are faster than space.

We are as fast as light. We are faster.

For We are love, and love is the fastest there is.

It is immediate.

It is no time at all.

It takes no space.

Love is the medium you roll in. You are the medium of love. You are the agent of love.

Be not a secret agent.

Cast love on all you see and meet.

Cast My love, not your own.

Your love is fantasy.

Mine is real.

My love is the only love there is, so it is Mine you give. You have a remarkable full source of love available to you. It doesn't run out. It is yours to give.

Your own love, that which you think is your own, is only partial. Take My love and share it, for you are a magic wand that sprinkles My stardust on all who come across you. The wand you wave points to Me.

When your feelings get hurt, you are believing in what someone else says or does, and that is hero worship.

When you envy someone, that is hero worship.

When you assume that someone knows more than you, that is hero worship.

When you give your power away to someone or anything, when you take someone else's advice without letting it go through your heart, that is hero worship.

When you try to please another, when you try to make another love you or value you, that is hero worship.

When you try to live up to someone else's picture of you, that is hero worship.

When you try to emulate another, that is hero worship.

When you follow another, that is hero worship.

When you try to prove anything, that is hero worship.

When you are on automatic, that is hero worship.

What and whom have you been putting above yourself?

What have you believed in?

What have you bought?

Who do you say knows more about you than you do?

Whom do you give your power away to?

No wonder you feel powerless.

You have abandoned yourself.

Someone says, "Take this pill," and you take it. An actor on TV tells you, and you run to get it. You believe in all kinds of medicine.

You believe in all kinds of exercise.

You believe what books say.

You believe in experts.

You believe in all kinds of material things.

You believe in the value of everything but yourself.

Don't wait for others to believe in you.

I believe in you.

And I know truth.

Listen to Me for a change.

I care about you. I care more about you than you care about yourself.

You have wanted to give yourself away. You have been giving yourself away.

Give yourself to Me and to no other.

Give your whole soul to Me instead of pieces to whatever or whoever comes along and puts himself or herself in front of you.

Live up to My picture of you. Live up to it by accepting yourself as My Own.

Release yourself to Me.

Release your hold on the nothingness someone else's opinion gave you.

Put your hand in Mine.

Surrender to Me and not all those other people and things.

You have spent a lot of your life handing out peace offerings to those around you. That is a small sector.

Hand out My peace to the whole universe by looking up at Me.

Give My love to the stars and falling rain and all sentient beings on earth and to angels in Heaven.

You, be the giver of love, and not the beggar of it.

Kneel before no other man, for no man is greater than you.

Only little children you may bend down to, for that is rising to their innocence.

Or, if you are a seamstress, you bend to fix the hem of another.

Or, if you give shoe shines, you bow down in the simple act of polishing another's shoes.

In service, you can bend. But service is not servitude. No man is higher than you. Whatever his authority, whatever his throne, whatever his beliefs, no man is higher than you.

And if you are the one who sits on a throne, or you have some authority over another, remember then that no man is less than you. Your robes do not make you more. Rags do not make another less.

See as I do see.

Bow down to Truth. Bow down to the core of Truth.

When you are not so involved in the events of your life, you do see its circumlocutions as parts of a dream. When you wake up from your dream, you see that all your beliefs were only wisps of dreamery. You have shoveled your dreamed beliefs of life and piled them up around you. And others shovel fast as well, and the dirt spills over. And so your dreams blend, and you think you live the same one, and so you do share your illusions.

That which is not dreamed, that which is the basis of your dreams, that, indeed, you share. That which is undreamed of you share. Truth you share. You are coming to know truth so that you can share what is true.

When you are not so attached to whatever you are attached to, you stand from a higher platform. You view your life from the eyes of truth. You walk the same roads, you perform the same work, you accompany the same people, but you are different because you rise above circumstances to your true stature. Your true stature has nothing to do with circumstances.

That is the first idea you must give up, your faith in circumstances, because that idea calls blame and judgment to you, and blame and judgment make you feel weak, not strong. Delusion does not strengthen you. Its untruth weakens you.

The second idea you must give up is that anything has to be different from what it is. Give up your idea that something must change and change right now, and give up your equally outdated idea that it must stay the same. Things in life will change. You can be sure of that, but you are not the changer. You are the affector of your life, but you are not the changer of it. You do not shake change into existence. This, however, does not mean you are powerless.

The third idea that you are leaving behind you is the very idea that you are powerless. You are not rudderless. You have your bearings in life. You are powerful because I have given you everything, and you have unlimited resources.

Here's the conundrum:

You have unlimited power, and yet you are not the changer of your life.

Here is the understanding:

What you change is your vision because it is your present vision that constricts your life. Expand your vision, and your life leaps forward.

Consider yourself more of a seer than a doer, for as soon as you view your life from another angle, it is changed. Consider another perspective, will you?

Belief is a prediction. So your beliefs must change.

Really, what you have to do is go beyond your beliefs.

Go beyond belief actually. Drop all beliefs. Drop them. Beliefs are stored things. You are clearing the warehouse.

Your limited beliefs have held you back.

Here is what to believe in. Believe in your desires. They may change. They will change. But believe in your desires as they call you.

Greater desires call you as your vision grows. You cannot keep your same desires because you are not the same. Believe in your deepest desires because they come from your deepest heart.

When you see life more clearly, less involvedly, you call greatness to you. You step out of smallness. Now you are getting into Greatness by stepping out of yourself.

Feel My light filling you. Feel My light surrounding you. Now, what do you desire?

Do you desire greatness? For that, desire Truth.

Do you desire greater vision? Desire Mine. Walk with Me. And you will see such grand sights. You will see transformation of all you have thought and all you have believed.

Do not hero-worship any longer. No one is greater than you.

You have worshipped fantasy.

Honor yourself. That is the same as honoring the love and wisdom from which you came and which you hold right now in the palm of your hand.

Honor your children for they are your teachers. Besides that, they organize you. They set a rhythm to your life. They are a liaison to you and the world.

You already do see them as yourself, to their betterment and to their detriment. You see what you like in yourself and you see what you don't like.

Children are clear mirrors as they are. If you must change what you see, change the one who looks into the mirror.

Do not put so much of yourself into your children. Do not try so hard to change them. They belong to Me and themselves, not you. You did not design them.

You give them yourself, and they emulate you. You give them love, and they return it. Remember it is My will that is to be followed, not thine.

Although each child is a reflection of you, each is himself as well. Let your children be. They are not your clothing to pick out and adjust all the time.

What does it take for you to be a happy parent? Changing your children will not make you happy. Stop judging, and you will be happier.

Let your children be. In your desire to improve, you may take away.

You are not responsible for everything. Desire that your children live in joy. Let them be children while childhood is theirs. Do not rewrite them. Let them have their own future. You are responsible only so far.

Give your children the ingredients. Give them the paint, and let them paint the picture they paint, not what you want it to be. Paint your own picture with the colors you choose. Allow your children the same.

Do not think you have to make over your children. Lead them in joy. Do not think so much of discipline.

Your children are a treasure from God. Treat them as the guests they are. Multiply joy with them.

Not what you want, but what I know.

Not what you crave, but what I give you.

Not what you fear, but what you love.

Look at what I know, what I give you, and what you love.

Then you will know as I do know, and you will give as I do give, and you will know the essence of you which is love unmitigated, love full-blown as it continues to find itself along the way.

Another name for love is acceptance.

Another name for acceptance is seeing.

That is how truth is grasped, by seeing and receiving.

Heretofore, you accepted pain more easily than truth. Can you tell Me that you haven't?

Heretofore, you accepted the immediate more readily than the Immutable Eternal Truth I give.

The mirror you have looked in has been distorted.

Look at Me, and you will see true reflection.

The wavy lines are not truth.

Close your eyes, and see truth.

Close your eyes, and see light.

You are a spark of light.

And you are to ignite other sparks of light.

Ignite them.

Know that you carry the Light so that others may see.

This is no effort.

This is not conscious doing.

This is Being.

A lamp lights.

Souls sparkle on Earth.

There is greatness among you.

There is greatness within you.

Stop blocking it.

Get out of the way of your greatness.

You are like a quarterback who blocks his own team.

He runs everywhere, he knows not where.

He attacks, he blocks, he prevents.

He wears big shoulders.

He acts like a lion, but he is a lamb.

Why do you need to be lions?

Why need you halt your heart?

Merge with truth.

I will help you.

Call on Me to help you know truth, to know it when you see it, and to hold truth and nothing else. Why would you want to hold anything else when you can hold Me?

Hold Me, and you will have everything else.

You know by now that may not mean the riches of the world, those baubles that bob on the top of the ocean, but you will have the ocean and its depth, and its waves will roll and wash over you and leave you leaping up like a dolphin, for your hearts are My dolphins of the deep, and you will want what you have, for I am the treasure you seek.

I play a flute song that only your heart can hear.

The waves of the ocean are in your heart.

The waves of the ocean roll within you.

I flute them into existence.

You are buoyed by the notes of My flute.

That is your foundation.

The music I make.

The solid earth is not your foundation.

What appears solid is fluid.

The fluid is light.

And light leaps on earth.

And fishes fly.

And your hearts comes to Mine.

There is no wilderness.

There are only those who have wandered aimlessly.

Now accept your destination, and your wandering will not be aimless.

Point your heart towards Mine, and you will magnetize others and pull them to Me also.

Be swept up in the Ocean of Love.

That is your medium.

That is your artistry because it is Mine.

Know what you are for.

Know why you do things.

Follow your heart to My door.

It is open.

The sign says, "Come in.

"Heaven is open.

"24 hours a day."

But once inside, there are no days.

There are no nights.

There is only Heaven Itself where time stops and love begins.

What is so hard about taking life in your stride? What are your objections? What are your choices?

You may have chosen to take life in your stride sometimes but not always. You can curse at every obstacle that appears before you. You can kick and scream. You can lie down and let the train run over you. You can go eat some ice cream in the hopes that this will calm you. You can go dancing. You can help someone. You can read a book. You can be a friend to yourself, or you can be an instigator of woe.

For how long would you want to keep a friend who constantly reminds you that life has bamboozled you, that it has thrown tacks in your path? For how long would you want to hear this?

And, yet, have you not been that sort of friend to yourself? "Watch out, watch out," may have been the theme of your life. "Danger ahead. Take caution."

It is good to get your mind off your troubles. It is even better to tip your hat at your troubles and see them in perspective. You can let them be the focus of your life, or you can put them in their place and focus on what gives meaning to your life. Surely, obstacles aren't the meaning of your life, nor are they the substance. When you focus on what interrupts your joy, you are not focusing on joy. Truly, dear ones, focusing on troubles is like taking poison. You fuel yourself with tainted thoughts. Troubles are not meant to be your reason for being. Troubles are not meant to envelop you. You are not meant to foment over them.

Look at life and so-called troubles in life like weather. The weather is always changing. What you call good or bad weather is a fact of life, and weather comes and goes. Who would let the outer circumstance of the weather ruin his day, let alone his life? Yet you may have let daily preoccupation with changing circumstances rule your day and often ruin it. Beloved, be happy anyway. Beloved, whistle a happy tune.

Outside circumstances, even the wonderful circumstances, are not the making of you. I made you, and I made you whole. I did not make you to kneel at the whim of what occurs. Outer events are not to mold you. I already made you. Outer life is not to recreate you. You are not flim-flam.

You are My child, and I made you love. I didn't make you to be love only some of the time. I did not make you utterly dependent upon what goes on around you. Who but you has done that? You may have decided that you are the yo-yo of the world, and, so, you have given untoward events power of you. You have made them the ruler of you. You have made them dictators. You have made them dictate your moods and sense of well-being.

Have you done that? Why would you do that? By default? Have you thought that you have no choice, that how you feel is forever at the mercy of something outside you?

From this day forward, take a holiday from fret and worry. Fret and worry are as helpful to you as a headache. They are even less helpful, for they will never leave on their own. The true state of affairs is that they are dependent on you. Fret and worry are nothing without you. They can only survive when they get you to tire yourself out with them and give your life over to them.

Be forgiving with life. Upstream or downstream, according to your view, life is spreading before you. Bless your life. Change your mind and occupy it with thoughts that get you somewhere. Enough of going around in circles.

What a metaphor money is! It seems to capture the sum total of relative life. So meaningless at the same time as it seems vital. How valuable the valueless coins and bills are! They are counted as valuable because mass mind says they are. Because their value is mutually agreed upon, you scramble for them. You count and recount them. You grab them to you with relish, and you feel a power in spending them. And yet you know there is more to life than this metal and paper and your scrambling.

And yet Human life is constructed in such a way that, of course, you do not want to be without them, these pieces of metal and slips of paper.

And so you have a conflict. You amass that which you wish to spend, and a practice becomes a need, and you get swept up in the amassing and spending of this metaphor of your life.

Something that will help you is to remember the energy of life that is not material. The energy of life is the source of the material paper and metal. By dint of your hard work or luck you may gain money, but your hard work or luck is not the Source of it.

No man gives it to you either. His hand may pass it to you, but he did not create the energy that accompanies the transaction.

If all wealth comes from Me, then how come money is not intrinsically worth more? You have the impression that it is basic to life, and yet that, at the same time, you shouldn't adore it so much. You certainly should not worship it.

This thing about money is a sly thing. It is a contradiction. Have it or you will be a pauper without, the world says, and then winks and pretends money is nothing at all. It is like the world offers you candy and withholds its sweetness at the same time.

Consider money a carpenter's tool. Consider it a hammer or saw or nail that serves a purpose. It creates something. It joins disparate parts. It is useful beyond itself. What does the carpenter's tool create? What does he make with it? What does he use it for, and to what end?

Be not so automatic in regard to money. Do not buy world thought. Certainly money has its face value. Find deeper value. Like love, money is not to be hoarded. It is to be circulated. The movement of the money is its energy, not the demonstration of money itself. As with love, it is not to be used to control or to be withheld, and it is not to be saved up for yourself or spent only on yourself.

It often is that those who have the least hold it the most dear.

You must come to peace about money. When you truly recognize that I am the Source of it, your feelings about it will change. Money is not the security. I am. Money is not the gold. I am. Money may glitter, but it is not the gold. Gold is not even the gold. I am.

All you gain and all you give is back and forth expression of Me. If the money is a gift from Me, then it has a higher purpose than exchange from hand to hand or drawer to drawer. Let your use of money reveal the energy of love. Do not count the money so much. Count the love you give with it. Let your use of it be a holy thing. Give something of Me when you transfer this medium of exchange called money.

Remember that I am plentiful. There is more than enough of Me for everyone. Make sure that love goes with the motions of money you pass. That is alchemy. Lift money above the dross of the world and turn it into the gold of My love.

Dear Beloved's, what you feel matters, but it is insignificant.

Remember that what you feel and following your heart are not equivalent. It is My heart you follow. And My heart does not get caught on the little things that enter and surround your feelings. Consider your feelings no more and no less than ego. If they are only yours, they are ego.

That which does not belong to Me is ego. Call it what you will. Call it sensitivity. Call it honor. Call it respect. If it is not Mine, it is ego.

Abandon your ego. It is not your strength. It is your weakness.

I am your strength.

Embrace Me, not ego.

I am your Champion. Ego is not. Ego is for itself, not you.

I am for you.

Let Me be your God, no other.

There is no other.

So let truth be.

Do not embellish it.

Do not dress it up.

Be it.

Be One with Me in Love.

It is smallness you must get out of.

You think that is hard. But it is easier to choose big than small.

It is easier to choose the Ever-Present than the illusion you imagine.

Imagine something else. Imagine truth. Imagine Me. Imagine that you are the Greatness I say you are.

Stand taller.

Assume truth.

Today you will do something that you never did before.

To do this, you will open your way of looking at things. You will open to My way of looking at things.

The world talks about random acts of kindness.

They are not random.

Nothing is random.

What may be random is when you listen to Me.

Make That-Which-Is-Constant yours.

Abandon randomness.

What will you do for Me today? Anything?

Do not do for individuals. Do for Me.

In doing for Me, you may do for individuals.

But put not individuals ahead of Me.

You are loosening your individuality.

Others must loosen theirs.

The story of the seeming beggar who comes to the door and who is actually Christ is really the story of your being One with all. You do not ignore the Christ. It is Christ you do for. It is not the beggar you do for. By your recognition of Christ in another, you know yourself. Christ is the God in Human man. The story means that individuality keeps you stuck. Get used to seeing Me.

Let's reverse the story. Perhaps the beggar at your door does not know he is Christ. But you know he is. And it is the beggar who may have to discover the Christ within you (the host who came to the door) before he sees it in himself.

Look not to individuality, for that is what you will see. Look not to individuality, for that is what you will teach. Look for God, and your recognition of Me will become your visitor's as well.

You are magnets of thought.

How powerful you are!

Today you will cast a light upon the world.

You will cast it on the God within one individual.

You will look into someone's eyes, and you will change their life forever. This happens because I will be looking out through your eyes. Allow Me to see through your eyes. Allow Me.

That which you do for another you do for Me. That which you do for another you also do for yourself, for the other's eyes will reflect the sight you give them.

The stranger who comes to your door is most certainly Christ. And the one who greets him at the door is also most certainly Christ. And there is no door. There is no one on one side and another on the other. All of that is illusion. All of that is learned reasoning. What is true does not have to be learned. It has to be allowed. Unlearn reasoning, and truth will be evident.

Can you still look at the world as you have always looked at the world? Can you still be the consciousness you were an hour ago? Can you still be a stranger to Me or to one another? You are friend to man, so be it.

Light weighs nothing, and how far it reaches. It reaches around corners. Light makes shadows show. Light makes clear. A shadow is simply a reflection of light interrupted. You find shadows heavy, and yet they are only a tinge of lessened light. You make them larger than they are.

Fear is the biggest shadow you know. It hovers around you. Wherever you turn, you see fear in the shadows. But please know that without love, you would not imagine fear. Love is the light, and when it is lessened, your heart knows it, and allows fear to enter. But in truth, there is no lessening of light. That is a misperception.

A shadow is a shadow. It is not the real thing. The only real thing is light. And it cannot be absent. It can be covered but that's all, nothing more.

Shadows come, and shadows pass, but light is constant.

Love cannot be darkened. Shades can be pulled, but love is not darkened. Just removed from view. Love is there all the same.

So you must see through shades and shadows. They are murky, no doubt about it. Shades and shadows use stealth. Step outside the shades and shadows, and the bright light is there. Do not stay in the shadows. Come on out and play in the Sun.

You have choices. One big one is to stay in the dark or venture out into the light. Dark can be comforting in its familiarity. Maybe you even find dark and its incumbent danger thrilling, but without imagined darkness and belief in it, danger cannot follow. But, of course, you do believe in danger. You feel surrounded by it. One false step, and it will get you, you're sure.

Then you must see beyond the shadows. You must see shadows for what they are.

Believe Me when I tell you that you are My immortal being. Not one millisecond of your being can be touched. Believe in the sanctity of your being more than in the sanctity of your body. Honor your infinity more.

When you see only what is directly in front of you, your choices are few. But when you can see further down the road, much opens up and you find glorious choices before you.

Perhaps in the candy store window, only a few stale items are displayed. But enter the store, and behind the counter lie candies after candies, sweets unimagined, still warm, still melting with their deliciousness. But when you stay outside, you do not even consider the choices that await you because you have not entered the store. It is no sacrifice to enter and go for more.

The first thing in view may not be the most glorious, but you may settle for it. Indeed, you have settled.

You have made many bargains with life, but true life is not a bargained-for sale or trade. True life is yours to choose, not in exchange for something, but simply for itself. Do not shortchange yourself.

What is at hand may be an illusion. It may be sleight of hand. You have gone to carnivals and been snookered. You know what it is. You have been fooled before by illusionists. But it is always you who fools yourself.

Do not be fooled by the temporary. You extend far beyond the temporary. You are what eternity is made of. You might as well know what you are worth and what you are worth to Me. I do not make too much of you; I simply see you in your true light. You do not make enough of yourself. I am teaching you to see yourself more clearly, and from your awareness of light, great choices are made.

What is wisdom but love? Wisdom comes from love. Wisdom is not thought-out. It is loved out. Wisdom comes from the heart rather than the mind. Wisdom is an automatic outshoring of love from your own heart.

And how wise are you today. How farseeing you are, and how capable of greatness. Greatness is not in what you call power. True, greatness has great power, but it is not the power of force. There is nothing great about force. Greatness is almost invisible. Greatness reveals the truth of who you are and not the bluster.

Greatness is your destiny.

Rhetoric is not your destiny. Right words do not make war right nor great. Words do not always reveal. And it is the destiny of your heart to be revealed today. You are the only one who can reveal it. No one can reveal it for you.

You unveil yourself yourself. You are the remover of fiction. You take off the make-up. You do not portray truth. You are it. Truth is the light of you, and today you let it shine. The truth of you is beautiful and holy. You are beginning to notice that now.

As you notice, so will the world.

There is a huge wave of love in the world, and you are the revealer of it. You uncover your eyes, and the world is revealed for the exponent of love that it is.

You did not create this wave of love. You revealed it. You have done nothing but show life as it is. You opened the universe to itself, and said, "Here you are. This is what you are like. This is how you reveal the heart of Humanity to itself."

Do you not live in a bigger world today than only yesterday? Isn't your scope greater? Isn't your heart enlivened, bursting with joy of love on earth revealed?

It took a hardship to awaken your heart to its own revelation.

And for those whose hearts still burn with hatred, know that hatred burns itself out. It cannot last long in its own fires.

Havoc dwelt in your heart, and now it is leaving. Now you choose peace over hostility. You choose life over death. You choose to grant life rather than a sentence of death. You choose to allow life rather than pre-empt it. You are letting yourself live without hatred for you-know-not-what.

As an individual, you are learning to let go of attachment, the precursor to control. Now as a nation you also withdraw from the attachment of war.

War is control-mongering. For those who love to plan coups, they are in their element. They think that is what they were born for. They most certainly were not born for that moment of false glory when they feel the excitement of false might.

Strength lies in peace, not in war.

A club is only a club. It is not might.

A heart of love is mighty. A heart of hate is weak. It is that simple.

Lean your heart toward love. Desire the peace of great understanding. Because someone acts in error, it is not necessary to compound the error. It is necessary to rise above it. It is necessary to see from a different angle. It is necessary to lift the lid off the world, not to consume it.

This is My world We are talking about it, and long let it live in My light and yours. Expand the light of love and wisdom in the world. It takes no special talent. It takes your being. Be in your being which is Love Almighty. Your being is the current of the world that flows in ever-reaching arcs of love.

Your imagination is like filaments from the sun. You have seen photographs that show the sun's rays between trees in the forest. Your imagination is like that. Your imagination is not something to be discouraged but encouraged. Who is there qualified to say that the trees are more solid than the rays of the sun that blast through between and above them?

Your imagination feeds your desires. Perhaps We can say that desires are imagined thoughts. You have imaged them. And within the word "imagination" lies the word "magic". Let's call "magic" "majesty" instead because "magic" implies a trick, but imagination is no trick. It is seeing further. It is making a picture of what is to come.

Does the imagination create the picture, or is imagination merely foretelling? It matters not. Pictures are created in the mind, and then they are found. The pictures take you further. They call to you. They give you reason to move forward. They are love calling to you.

Culture imagination. Looking forward is not exactly the same as looking to the future. Whatever you see now, you once imagined. Imagining is not so much looking to the future but creating it.

How powerful are your thoughts!

When you think of disaster, you may be creating it. "That which you fear comes upon you." That which you imagine finds you. The power of positive thinking is not a false bolstering of yourself. It is creating a picture of what you want and perhaps of where you long and belong to be.

It is easy to point out the dismay around you. It is also easy to see a bigger horizon.

Perhaps there is no imagination at all. Perhaps there is simply foretelling the future.

Could Columbus imagine what already existed? He set out in search of India and found another continent in the place where he was looking. Was it his imagination that went past the fallacy of the flatness of the earth, or was it truth calling to him?

When you are without imagination, you are sticking to the flatness theory of the Earth. Being grounded is not being stuck to flatness. Columbus was not ungrounded. He was simply grounded in more than most of the folk of his time.

Folklore has a truth in it. Folklore is like a metaphor. The flatness of the Earth was a metaphor for the flatness or sameness of thought.

It is folklore that says that mention of Christ is religion. Mention of Columbus is not religion. It is not science either. Columbus and Christ were two men who walked the Earth with a vision far ahead of most. It is that simple. Columbus' concern was with the Earth, and Christ's was with Heaven. Each followed his own divine plan. They sought different fortunes, and each found his. That is divine, to seek your own truest heart and to find it.

Whether mentioned or not, We know that Columbus also had Me. Who was his Polestar if not I?

And Who pulls you with a force greater than that of a magnet, yet like a magnet? That is the pull of love.

Love pulled Columbus, and love pulled Christ, and love pulls you.

Where are you being pulled? Resistance to that pull is staying in the past. Staying in the past is making yourself stay in ignorance, or less than truth. It is keeping truth away. It is sacrificing truth in order to keep the past.

Must the past be so vital to you?

I tell you to break out of it. Break into the present. I quietly await you here. Come along.

The Lord's Prayer begins with "Our Father", for I am the One Father of All. I am personal to you, and I am personal to everyone. This brings us back to the fact that you are One. When you say "Our" Father, you are recognizing that you are My child entire. I have one child because you are all joined in My Oneness which is also yours.

Suffice it to say there is only One.

How dear you are to Me, My One Child, My child of Oneness! You are Mine, but I do not possess you. I free you. I scattered your One self across the face of the earth. I multiplied My love, and I am doing it still, and you who are My love also multiply My love. And you add up fast, My One Love.

I have often mentioned to you the horizon, as if the horizon, like Myself — as you have thought of Me — were far away from you, but you are your own horizon. The horizon of you is not at a distance but close at hand. If all is contained within you, the horizon you see before you is yours.

You are capable of all that you can imagine. Your imagination is your horizon.

I created wonders in this world, and you are the best of them.

You are a re-creator of the world.

Creation creates. You are My creation, so you are a creator.

Create as I create.

Create freedom.

"Create" is another word for "giving".

Give people away to themselves.

Create a free environment with your intent. Like Me, have the desire and let it blossom.

I am the Foundation of your desires. Stay true to Me. Do not wander so far off that you set boundaries for others. Make not everyone the same. Let what rises rise.

There is a great Humanity brewing. Draw a deep breath. Free yourself and free all of Humanity.

As you go, so goes the world.

The world dances to your tune. It is dependent upon you. You are dependent upon it only as you say so.

What is the world anyway? A conglomeration of thought passed on.

Pass on new thoughts to the world.

But there is nothing new under the sun, you say.

Then pass the sunlight to the world, the same old sun that I put forth to shine upon a world that grows brighter with the light of it. Let your eyes cast light from the sun upon the world that half-dozes.

Be the dawning sun that wakes up the world.

The world does not need to be weary.

The world needs to be awakened, and you are the awakener of it.

You waken it with your heart.

All the intellect in the world does not accomplish much; it only shows off.

But the Human heart ignites the heart of the world.

If reasoning worked, all would know better.

Only a touch of the heart works. And a touch of your heart is a blessing upon the created world.

Bless this world. Blow the breath of love upon it. Be the bellows of it. Do not adhere yourself so much to the world. Amplify the heart of the world. Let the world hear the rumble of love that courses through it. The love is there but not enough of it has been heard. It has been silenced with too much noise.

And now, let a drop of My love from your heart fall upon the world and renew its light.

You are My appointed minister.

There is something in your heart that you want to ask Me, if only you knew what it was. But you will get there. You will find it, and your heart will totally be a flower in full bloom.

Perhaps that is your question: "Dear God, how do I open my heart more to You?"

Or perhaps your question is: "Dear God, how do I open my heart more to Your other children, whom I am told are myself, and yet who seem so far away and even opposed to me?"

Or perhaps your question is: "Oh, dear God, how do I get along with myself? How do I come to encourage myself more than I discourage myself? How do I get myself out of the quagmire of thought I presently find myself in? How do I become what I want to be? How do I become what You want me to be?"

You realize, of course, that you and I look at different things. You look at Me warily as some kind of foreign object while I am, in reality, the most intimate heart of you. Or you look at Me to be more than a God or perhaps you see Me as a God Who disappoints.

You see other people as far away from you, while I see you as One. You need to look closer.

As for yourself, you look at your imperfection, and I see your perfection. You look at the ripples you make, and I look at you. Because of where you look, you may think that you are not already what I want you to be. Do you think I look to find fault with you? Do you think that perfection in the terms of the world is the perfection I look at? All your world stuff, pro or con, is nothing next to you; I see what is beneath and beyond any presentation you give to the world. And My glance at you is dependent upon what you are and not your misdemeanors. You do not curry My favor anymore than you attract My disfavor. You do not win points with Me, nor demerits.

I am not blinded. I know you make mistakes, commit errors, make unholy choices. But when your child is learning to walk and he falls down, you do not berate him. You pick him up. You do not pretend that he did not fall down, but you understand that he is a child who is learning. Do you possibly think that I am less than you? Less aware, less caring, less guiding? Do you think I give only so many chances and no more? Do you think I carry prejudice against you? Do you think I rub My hands with glee to catch you in a mistake? What do you think My point of view is?

So you see how much a difference what you look at makes to your perspective. What you look at becomes what you look through. What you look at becomes part of your vision. It becomes how you open your eyes or squint them.

Part of your freedom of choice is to look at whatever you want any way you want. There are no bounds here. There is not one way for you to interact with Me, the world, or yourself. There are many. That is the meaning of free choice.

Look higher. Reach higher. Where you look is where you reach. Where you look is what you see.

So long as you approve, you are judging. Approval and disapproval are two ends of judgment.

"But wait," you say, "aren't I entitled to like something more than something else?"

But of course you are.

When someone offers you an apple or an orange, and you prefer the orange, you accept it because that is your preference. You are not sneering at the apple or considering the orange of more value. You are not thinking: "Oh, how can anyone in their right mind choose an apple over an orange?"

You are simply stating your preference.

When two people perform different acts or in a different manner, or appear in different costume, you may look up to one and down on the other. That is judgment.

When it came to the choice of the apple or the orange, you were neutral about it. Your choice was your choice. You held no scorn for the fruit you didn't choose. You simply didn't choose it.

When it comes to people and their acts, your choosing isn't so neutral. It becomes personal. One affronts you, and the other pleases. No more than the innocent apple and orange do other people and their courses of action have to do with you.

It is not your place to be affronted.

You have choices certainly, but to be affronted is not one of them. Being affronted is taking personally that which is someone else's business.

When you are a teacher, and you praise one youngster, by default you are not praising the one next to him. Praise given to one and withheld from another is not such a glorious thing. When you praise, you are approving. By default, you are also disapproving.

Perhaps you are buying a house. Certainly you don't have to buy every house. You are entitled to buy the one you want. Make a choice for the one you want, but don't disparage another, for that will be someone else's choice.

Are you beginning to understand better what neutral means?

It does not mean dullness or disinterest or indifference. It means you have personal preference, but it does not mean you make a proclamation of condemnation or praise. You accept the coexistence of all, and you make your choice.

All the energy and effort that go into trying to make something into what you think it should be! You do that to your children, and you have done it to yourself.

There is a place for everything.

Nothing encroaches on you.

But you fear it does.

And so you judge a book by its cover.

Take out of the library the book you want, but do not scathe the others.

Do not wish someone else's choices out of existence.

In your mind, you have often squashed others' ideas, and so you have often squashed other people. That is tantamount to eradicating them. Disapproval is erasure. Be not a destroyer of hearts. Be an innocent passerby. Be a nodder at other people's hearts.

Know what is your business and know what is another's.

Know what is your domain and what is another's.

When you accept yourself as a Human being making his way in the world as best you can at this moment, then you will accord the same to those around you.

If everyone deserves My love, and you deserve My love, then can you not allow others to be at peace?

You are king of yourself, and of no other. For all are kings and queens in their own lives. I have appointed them.

Do not give your selfhood away, and do not grab another's.

Bestow your blessing upon freedom of choice.

Bless the creation entire.

Roll over, and bless it to itself.

And when you feel you cannot, bless it to Me.
