That was a group of thugs.
There were black people who came to Reginald Denny's aid.
I do wonder why a thread about a lottery winner being murdered turned into a tirade about OJ Simpson. But since it has....
People have long since moved past the Rodney King verdict. The only times it is brought up is in response to someone pulling the OJ card. Yes, that sense of denied justice that we rightfully feel over the OJ verdict is a feeling black people know all too well.
The intense focus on OJ would be understandable if he were the ONLY celebrity accused of murder...but he isn't.
I sometimes wonder if people would be just as upset if both Robert Blake and Phil Spector got away with murdering Ron and Nicole.
It didn’t seem like people were upset when Robert Blake walked away from a murder conviction either. He was exonerated despite his attempt to hire some associates to kill the woman that, in fact, wound up dead. The I-left-my-gun-in-the-restaurant excuse always a little sounded shady to me.
