Curious about rules on selling lotto tickets
I was wondering if there are any rules that would allow a lottery agency or retailer from selling an individual lottery tickets. This is purely hypothetical as of right now. I was just thinking about when I win a huge jackpot could a retailer or agency stop selling you tickets? Many people including past lotto winners have said they will continue to play. I would be ready for the looks I would draw when I bought tickets after my win. The reason I asked is because I have to gone to Las Vegas and

Tennessee's new lottery games
Thanks for the update. I have been asking my retailer about Lotto Plus and he knew even less than I.

plastic lottery holders
Every retailer should have these. I have more laying around than I know what to do with.

A Hit or a Thud??
Just saw your post that a retailer already has tables set up for Keno viewing. I'm really surprised that's allowed.

None. That's why the best place to purchase your tickets is a local licensed retailer.

Anonimity and/or Privacy
I was hoping that someone would respond (grin). I think you and I are probably in the minority - people who really WANT to retain their privacy and anonimity. A few months back, I put up a website with the results of extensive research on that topic: http://LuckyYou.atspace.com Here's an example. Kansas lottery law has a specific provision that mandates anonimity for all lottery jackpot winners. It's even an exclusion under Kansas state open-records laws. The ONLY way they can r

Was I discriminated against for playing lotto?
The way I see it is if they don't want to service me after I stood in line they shouldn't be a retailer.

Was I discriminated against for playing lotto?
Were I live in Oregon there are plenty of retailers for the Oregon lottery in driving distance. If the store refused my service I would find another retailer that would take the time to cash my winning ticket and then reward that store by being a repeat customer. I would also not go back to the store that told you to go to the back because it is clear that they do not want your business. If you have that little sign that says retailer for your state then cash my ticket or I will not come back

Online lottery
I would only play pick three and four online. I'd get my tickets for the large jackpot games at my local lottery retailer.

Hmmm... See if YOU can understand this
I would never trust having a retailer check it. I joked with some friends that, what if you took the ticket to a retailer, and after checking it they ripped it to shreads, thus saying you didn't win crap! Although I doubt it would ever happen, one must be prepared for anything! Workers have bad days, and some may not like the idea of another winning a large amount of money. That is why I would have a videoographer, some witnesses, and a lawyer with me. Not to mention all the photo copies I woul
