Yep, I'm kinda shy plus I don't handle irritations well. And people asking for money or asking me to invest in their dumb business propositions would be very irritating. I think it would be easy to pull off. I have 2 or 3 states within easy driving distance. Intersted in getting a lottery pool for powerball, lottery raffles, etc. I would like to have something in writing (from a legal standpoint) just to make sure no one is cheated, etc. If there's anyone who has been in a pool with info on what to include in a legal agreement, please advise. I'm trying to find out what info should be included and restrictions/guidelines, etc. Thanks.

What would you do?This question is not for single people. There has been several stories in the LP News about jackpot winners who were single and had a mate for several years, they just never got around to making it legal. Does a mate that you've shacked up with for a while qualify as a soulmate even if he/she doesn't have any legal right?

Travis, This question has been asked before. I find that the answers tend to recommend very complicated legal structures. I look back at cases where lotto groups collapsed into legal suits after a win and in all cases, the groups had absolutely no paper trail or any hint of a contract or written agreement. I think the owner is leaving out some important info, and not giving you a true picture. My sources say that they have had trouble with local authorities for a while -- at least a year or longer. This stuff about the legislation being the source of problems is a smokescreen. There is nothing the new law does to change the legality of using a butler service over the internet. If it was legal before the new law, then it is still legal after the new law.

Actually, the money becomes part of the person's estate upon their demise. Now if a person were to leave this earth intestate (without a legal will), difficulties could arise when settling the estate. The courts (in NY it's the Surrogate's Court) then become involved as far as naming an executor/administrator for the estate.
