Alabama lottery vote manuevering fractures Republican caucus
Do we really care that 2 Republican Senators resigned from the Alabama Republican Caucus, b/c procedure wasn't followed on a Bill that they probably opposed anyway ??? No, we don't care. Let them LEAVE.
This is the hypocrisy and irony of it all. It's OK for procedure to be twisted when you support certain legislation, but NOT OK for procedure to be altered when you DON'T support certain legislation.

Connecticut considers allowing online lottery ticket sales
Lawmakers are considering legislation that would move the Connecticut Lottery online for state residents.
A bill raised by the legislature's Public Safety and Security Committee would allow for lottery tickets to be sold online through a licensed vendor. NJ bill aims to protect lottery winners' identity
Your arguement is nonsensical. The reason for this legislation is that, once a lottery winner is announced publically, they're immediately set upon by any number of beggars, thieves, scam artists, distant relatives looking for money, charities aggressively seeking contributions, gold digging women or men, purveyors of high end items (sports cars, real estate, financial investments, jewelry, yachts, planes, etc) contacting them ceaselessly, kidnappers, burglars, etc; all sorts of types looking to
