It Should Be Our Own Right
I feel your pain TnTicketlosers, I asked the OLC why we don't have a state lotto jackpot game and if we will be getting one in the future their response was legislation won't allow it . Then I asked about better scratch-offs games(since our highest is $5 to win $30,000-$40,000) you can guess what they said umm........ state legislation won't allow it . And they(OLC) wonder why lottery sales are down.

Is it possible....
I am glad that they pass that legislation that would make it impossible to do again i wish all state did the same..It would be interesting to know exactly what the legislation forbids, and where it's forbidden. Maybe that's it, but if so, what about full wheels, etc. At what point would it cross over the fence into the free fire zone and nail a person as a 'cheater' when it came time to cash in the tickets?Any ideas?Jac

Facebook IPO now being called "a flop"

I think at some point...you have to realize...that more legislation is not gonna work...all it does is make jobs for lawyers. If big banks always seem to get a free pass, then why should they care or worry about any legislation whatsoever?

Georgia to sell tickets online
Quote: Originally posted by plnwebguy on March 08, 2004 I do think it's an interesting groundwork for future legislation thoughout the country and other states will look at what happens in Georgia as an example though - we'll see.I forgot to include the US Congress in the formula :) Here's an interesting article that talks about even if Georgia did make it law, one bill making it's way through the US Congress would prohibit online gambling. It sounds like the legislation has been tied up in Co
