Self Service Machines vs Retailers
I totally agree about the double slot of the new one stop shop machine. I have often tried one from each only to get the same ticket.. My main play area has a counter and the old style machine(not the one stop shop one where you can scan your winners/losers). I prefer the counter in this case, because I know the guy and will tell me if a bunch of duds just happened or if someone hit decent. His older style machine is near a self checker and his store is generally less crowded, so it would be eas

how did you play to get big winners?
@dr65 i like what you have said. i think i'll take your advice. in the past few weeks i have been winning more than usual and i believe that is because i have changed up my playing style to pretty much what you have just said. i am guilty of feeding the machine or chasing wins and i don't believe i have ever gotten lucky this way. i have also found a LOT more luck scratching my tickets in my room compared to scratching at the counter or in my car. from now on i will spend my $20 and just w

Is this weird??
I have done this both ways with $20-$25 tickets. In theory, the idea is buying at different places or at least off of different rolls that all 20 tickets could be winners. But it could also mean that all 20 tickets could be losers. Is this game near 50% sold? Based on the number of jackpots won for $250K the game needs to hit close to 50% in sales before the next grand prize is released. In either case, you'll be lucky to win $40 back which is what I'd expect you'd get back at best unlease

Suspicion & Paranoia
I went and played my lottery tickets today at a store I frequent. As the cashier was scanning my tickets they stopped after 2 and said the machine jammed. They put the tickets in front of me that had scanned. A few minutes passed and they gave me my other ticket. The ticket that caused the machine to jam just so happened to be my fantasy 5 ticket with ez match. I was curious if I had won a large amount on the ticket and they printed another to keep that one. I don't know if I am j

Weird, Retailer denied payment
Rather odd situation. Bought an instant ticket thru one of those Greene machines. Won a whoppin $2 according to the ticket game. Went to cash it in and the Validation machine spewed out: Card Reader cannot cash. The clerk was as mystified as I was since I hadnt claimed it before . THe Clerk calls the Vendor help line. THe Lady said- A possiblity is the The pack of tickets hadnt been initialized When he read back the series of numbers the lady confirmed that the Packet LOT had been distribute

Millionaire Mega Bucks is a hit!
I won a ticket on Extreme Green 2 days ago so on my way home I stopped at kind of a seedy looking gas station to cash it in. I traded it in on another Extreme Green and won $25. I figured since I just had a winner I didn't dare buy another one, so I put 5 bucks toward the drawing that night and bought a $20 Millionaire ticket. When I got down to the third row, I hit a JUMBO, but continued to scratch as I like to save the winnings until the end. I ended up with 5 JUMBO's. Going back to the first

California Scratch Offs
Wow dude that's some rough luck. But you are building up some good karma, will pay off with a nice win soon. If I had a similar story, it would be this. Last year, our Hit 5 jackpot got up to $1.5 million dollars and that's a $1 ticket with jackpot odds about 700,000 to 1. So it's a good play when the jackpot gets that high. So I decided to buy 20 tickets for $20. Well I don't know who won but the winning ticket ended up being sold at the exact machine I bought mine from. A few days later, I

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Nice going MIDGET !! That $500 looked good as well ! Do you remember the book # on each ? Thanks Luck might have it ! Was at the Publix yesterday and bought 2 WCC's, 2 $20 GR DOUBLERS and 2 $20 BROWN GR's from the machine - then did some shopping in the store and as I was leaving to cash in my huge $50 win the gals at the counter were excited - asked what's going on ? Told me after I bought my tickets and while I was shopping, someone bought a $20 GR ticket from the machine and won a big one
