I wonder how the Mcdonalds team justifies that she won and stole the money. By now, Id be living life to the hilt with a new car, house, vacation, shoes (lol) etc. It would be hard to have that kind of money and not show it someway.Even harder to keep it on the QT. Maybe if they saw her financials they d be satisfied. lol-watch her get her own tv show or be invited to the mansion.

Not neccessarily. He sounds like he's got his stuff together...except for the aunt. If I were to win, and I'm 23 years old, I wouldn't allow ANYBODY in my family to deal with my money. I trust these people with my life but it seems like every person who has lost their millions did in part because of a relative. I love them all and they would all be taken care of but my financials would be taken care of by a wealth management team who have good strategies for people with money.

How do you convince a team of lawyers, accountants, and financials advisers to give you advise -- before you have the money? I would think they would be looking out for the con-job. Hi, I won $350 million, come work for me. Will pay you next month; until then do all that work based on trust. By the way, can you loan me a couple of bucks so I can afford the gas to drive to the meetings?

In my example above, you also don't make your $100,000 until the year is over, even though you claim to make $100,000. IMHO, it's just basic financials, and totally above-board, although I can certainly see how people could feel how you do. I personlly have no problem with the way they advertise the jackpot, because they naturally want to put the best spin on it. However, I do like the UK Lotto and Euro Millions prizes better, because they are all cash, with no taxes taken out.
