The Oregon Lottery has built up a $1.2 billion a year business trafficking in the eternal thrill of gambling. Just one of its games, Keno, was played an extraordinary 73.7 million times last year.
But the Keno odds took a sudden swing in the early morning hours of July 23, when scanners read all Keno tickets as losers, even when they weren't.

Pa. Lottery's new keno game gets a lot of play
The Pennsylvania Lottery's new keno game tickets have been selling like gangbusters since debuting at the beginning of the month, lottery spokesman Gary Miller said.
Since May 1, the lottery took in $2.7 million in keno sales and players have already won more than $1.8 million in prizes, Miller said.

The Ohio Lottery is undertaking several new initiatives expected to increase revenue and offer new options to players.

Lottery self-service terminals now accept credit and debit cards and eWallet payments.

The popular quick-draw style Keno lottery game can be officially played in New Hampshire, as of Friday, Dec. 15, 2017.
Seven cities out of the state's 13 can now have Keno 603 at designated bars and restaurants.

A new keno being offered by the New Jersey Lottery Commission essentially expands casino-style gaming outside the resort, according to legislation introduced by Assemblyman Vince Mazzeo, D-Atlantic.
