Excellent! Well done, that man! I'm always on the look-out for new nonlinear wares, and these look very interesting (though I already have TISEAN). We'll see how they compare to VRA regarding predictions.

      Hi,

Maybe somebody here can help me.

I’ve downloaded the “Tisean” zip file which contains a lot of .exe programs.

I have a history file with ‘n’ values and I would like to train the algorithm up to n-5 and predict the next 5 values to compare them with the original ones.

I have tried the “predict.exe” and the “zeroth.exe” with some quite strange output results.

Does anybody know how those programs really works or has an example or a batch file?

Thanks in advance for any kind of help.

I'll get back to you on this (unless someone else does first), as I'm going away for the week.

I used the number recurrence gap to get a several time serias and analyzed/forecast by using non-linear(Exponional smooth and ARIMA) method, from Aug. 2004, but it didn't work well
