I've tested Pick3 and it is doing pretty well to my surprise. I am going to continue my testing though.

    Great news....

Have you been updating everyday during those tests?

I'm not going to give up. I'll try to use 12 or 14 numbers instead.
I need to do some backtesting to see if 12 or 14 numbers is enough to capture the drawn numbers.

A problem which I can see coming is that the numbers will not change much between each draw.
One might just as well play the same group of numbers for five weeks before using the charts again to find new numbers.

Another thing is how many weeks should I keep statistics for? Few enough to see some numbers change every week and many enough to catch trends, whatever that is.

You got it. I did a random test from a back month...actually what I did was start at Nov. 1, 2005. I did the workout and got the plays. Then on the Nov. 2, 2005, I re-did the workout and played, etc. Did Nov. 1, 2005-Dec. 5, 2005 and in one state, I would have won $705 flat. Would have won $993 progressively.

In another state, same testing procedure, I would have won $555 flat and $951 progressively.

That is playing $1 each number and playing box only. If I recall correctly, there were 2 straight hits in each of those states. So, if you wanted to play straight only, you would have been fine too:

        Plays: 35 days x $27 = $945

        Winnings: 2 x $900 = $1800

        Profits: $855

I do 6 mos for Pick 3. Seems to work well.

I am going to run up a Pick-4 generator as well and see what I can find. That would be 81 combos though.

I reduced the amount of numbers to 12 and got 32 combinations. No filters is being used.
I am using 100 weeks of statistics for these numbers. The Viking Lotto draw will be on wednesday.

              Here's the numbers:

                Grasshopper,

Yes, it is the same system Pac has. It actually is working very well. I have found that even in flat betting instances, cold runs are usually overrun with a hot hot hot streak!

When you update during the tests, do you notice a considerable difference in the changing of numbers to be played for the next day, or Is it like I imagined, where the numbers really don't change that much? I'm thinking that it's more like a week or so before the numbers change.

That's exactly right. They change very rarely. I would say once a week they change maybe. But there are times when they will change one day, and then change back the next.

How is your testing going? I think this has some merit to be honest with you.

The pick-4 however, is a little suspect. I only have Pick-4 going 3x3x3x3 or 81 numbers. I wonder if it would be wise to bump that up to 4x4x4x4 or 256 numbers? I know it's a considerable jump, but it might include the winner regularly.

I haven't tested since the original test. I've got to give the details of the system to two people who've been kind enough to help, and they can then try to put in an automated program which will hopefully update it everyday.

I will send the info to them later today.

That's what I suspected, which is that they don't change often, and that's okay as long as it hits, it really doesen't matter how. Right?

As far as the p-4 goes, again, 256 might be alot like you said, but it doesn't matter if the wins outweigh the losses. I'm going to ask them to do a program for both the p-3 and the p-4.

If you could have them do 81 & 256 for the P-4. I would be interested to see if that program can be done. Keep me posted.

It should come complete with a broad choice of parameters, meaning you can input any amount of numbers from the high priority ones, all the way down to the lower ones. So I can have as many numbers intergrated as possible.

When I did my test, I ended up with only 8 sets of numbers to play, so I added the numbers that didn't have as many of the high frequency rates to the chart, so I can have more coverage, and that's what I'll expect from the program to do also. It has to be flexible.

                            I'll let you know....

Is it going to cost a rear-end-load to develop?
