So, if a number falls on a Sat, we gather all the Sat lines for that number - the same with Wed, numbers.
So in this UK example, we should have 14 groups of lotto lines, some lines with the winning numbers in them.
If there 14 numbers that are coloured all together then yes you will have 14 group searches,is that what you mean,
Andy all the searches that you do in all the numbers if they contain any 1 number or more as there will be lines with more, they must be identified so as you can see fully what happens my friend, now for the next step if have not done it insert another column at the end of your work and use it to put something in it so you can see everything you are doing at every search, use A or B anything that you wish but they must all be marked with the same item A if you are using A, you will use this to search through and put all these marks together.
OK my friend, does this answer what you are asking.

Yes my friend for the time being, when you are finnished with this method you will be able to go faster, and perhaps get some to help you put some code in.and that will do it for you.

O.K. So we do use all lines when searching for a number. You have '1' blue for Wed. Why did you only pick 8 lines with 1 in it??
Yes use all numbers coloured to do your search, what do you mean turtle when you say 8 lines with 1 in it, are you talking about the amount of lines that are displayed after your search, If so I did not pick them that is what you have searched for and that is the answer to your search.

Bill,
So, I gathered the lines for a colored number and day and marked those lines which contain the winning number(s).
Do I mark the Wed lines (A) and the Sat lines (B), or are both Wed and Sat lines marked (A)?
I did notice that when I proceed through the blue numbers, some lines are already marked.

Please correct me if I'm doing anything wrong.
Sounds as if you are on the right track my friend, mark all the days with the same ID,when you have done that,go into that column and filter for the ID,when you see them check every line has a number that is displayed on the winning line, you can then filter and search for empty cells in the ID,check those and tell me what you find when you have finnished,I hope turtle is digesting all this.
