Hi there from Connecticut, new to the forum. I purchased 4 new $5 Red Hot 5's Doubler that just came out #10, #11, #12, #13
#10- $20
#11- $5
#12- $0
#13- $10
It was nice to have three out of four win, overall odds 1 in 4.05.
Congrats. 3 out of 4 hits is pretty decent.
I ended up buying 5 tickets each from 5 different $2($50 total). I ended up with $28 . Not the worse, but I wanted bin 8(Pot of Gold) and the guy gave me tickets from a different roll by the counter. Of course all 5 lost. I go there and talk to the guy enough to know it wasn't shady, just found it odd. especially since the ticket # was in the mid 30's, so it wasn't like the end of a roll. Unless someone just hit on my roll, but he always tells me. Guess if I won decent I wouldnt be wondering, but it certainly has me wishing I got the 5 I wanted now..

"I havn't heard of anyone winning more than $500 on Gold Rush - except a friend on mine here who got the $500K in April. He bought just TWO tickets."
This gas station by my work recently had a $1,000 winner. The winning ticket was the one right before I came in. I think it was ticket #12 and it was on #13...(I cant remember exactly)...I was quite upset because I planned on buying a Gold Rush. The owner of the gas station asked the guy is he could photo copy the ticket so he could post it on the glass. btw it was a single # match for $1,000 on the boottom right
I was upset with myself for not getting there 5 minutes earlier...Oh well.
Anyways, I havent hit $500 yet on the new Gold Rush. I stopped playing it altogether after the first Top Prize was claimed on the new release.
Yeah I played $2 tickets today. <snip> things are so small they look like Cracker Jack stuffers. Snuck in 5 FMC - only one winner for $100. So I broke even with the FMC (big deal) I started off with a bank of $300 and bought 150 two dollar tickets. Different ones - and I don't keep records. On the first batch - believe it or not - two $100 wins and the rest consisted of $2 - $4 and a couple of $20.00 wins. I got my $300 back plus a $150 + profit. I couldn't believe it. So I head back to 5 or 6 different stores and spent the $400 plus all on various $2 tickets. Total win was $472 ! Two $50's , four $25's and another $100, plus the crappy $2 and $4 wins. Like the dummy I am - I couldn't just quit while I was ahead.
Long story short - AGAIN I go out for the third time and spent the total won and wound up losing almost all. Total wins for the third trip was a measley $138. Higest win was $25,00 - I ran across wayyyyyyyyy too many losers - one after the other and wound up winning on $2 and $4 wins. Arghhhhhh. Wish I knew how to stop playing while ahead.
Hey B$rizzle - good win for that guy with the $1K GR. I have not heard anyone win more than that - except the guy I know who won $500 K in April. I talked to him the other day and he is set on trying win !M on BDB. He has been buying books and so far - squat. Hope he doesn't blow it all.
Good luck and I hope you win one of the big prizes (on what ticket I have no idea .....)

Nice wins DR65. Well I went against what I said and bought some tickets to bring home. Got 5- 7-UPS. I hit 5 times on 1 ticket for $1 a piece. I am getting tired of multiple wins on a ticket for less than the ticket value.
I know what you mean...I don't think I've won anything decent on those, they just don't do good for me.
I really think the best has been is a green 7 for $7 and that's pretty much the same thing as yours..$1
per win...the green is 7x and to see $1 there is kind of a letdown. Symbols have lost their glory imo. I
would say I can't wait to see the new ones but sheesh, after these past ones, I think I can wait.

Super job James WTG on your win! That's a nice one!
thanks dr65
I figure the price of a roll of scratch offs $300 vs a sports bet at 4 to 1 odds i would rather do the sports bet. with the scratch offs you get some money back you dont if you pick the wrong bet though. but with the bet its 1 in 2 odds to win big with scratch offs its crazy $1K is 1 in 8,000
2018 Biggest Win: $500 (multiple times but who cares about $500 right?)

Congrats, dr65 and James!
Yesterday was bad, but today was ok. Didn't start out well - spent $30 at a beer store and got $2. Got mad and tried $13 more at Giant and got an ELECTRIC on Electric 8s #064. It was $40 total and not $80, but I'll take it. The $5 games are downright awful still. The Hot $100,000 are very popular as Giant goes through a roll in a day, but the only win I've gotten lately on it was $10 on #059.

Good to hear you won Matt..Nothing here to brag about..Not for me anyways..but the store that I buy some of my tickets CoGo's..some lady hit $5000 on the $20 $100 million cash extravaganza lastnight..ticket #4....Happy for her, but just when I was giving up hope for the higher priced tickets....to think that I was going to buy some lastnight and didn't...UUUGGGGHHHHHH...makes me mad,,,oh well...guess it wasn't meant to be for me..for now...
Just wanted to give all you scratchers some hope...
Maybe that is why there are smaller wins now..because they have some $5000 winners out there...NOw where did GUS hide them...???

good luck all..
Thanks! I wish you got that one; you really deserve it right now like all of the PA posters here. Good winners are out there, but harder to find it seems. I often have 3-4 loss days or more before I hit something decent. I was even with the Lottery for much of last year, but after that, I fell behind. What kind of store had the $5,000 winner? Gas station, small convenience store, beverage place, or big grocery store?

Hi Matt.
It was a small convenience store..called CoGo's..They sold a $100 Thousand winner there last year too on a $5 ticket that I had been buying and buying and buying...I must be doing something wrong..maybe wanting too much...It seems when i give up is when I do better on tickets..when I want to win..I don't..I think omiller said that too..
I heard once that you can have anything you want, as long as you let go of wanting or needing it.. Still trying to figure that one out...
Maybe if I just go back to playing for fun..and stop wanting a nice big win..then I'll get it..
Now to get rid of my wanting and needing it....LOL

Hi - thanks for the info. Very true it seems. I tried hard with my $30 and got little, and then put in $13 not expecting much and got a decent win. Funny how often that happens. It's hard to make this such a casual thing when it's become a hobby.
