I had my money on you based on volume. I guess one of us PA guys/girls are due to win something. I had a dream last night I was playing tickets in PA and drove to NY to play(3 hour drive for me). If I ever that get desparate, things are bad.lol
I still kick myself over having the ticket prior to the $1k winner. Nothing I can do about it and I am sure over the years I was close to other winners, just didnt know it.
I will be down closer to Matt at the end of the month for a week and plan to play down in Montgomery county to see if my luck changes.

$1K on a scratch off only or any type of gambling ?
Im not feeling it on scratch offs lately. I have a feeling its gonna be one of you guys from PA who win a nice amount next. I actually dozed off behind the computer one day and visioned Matt posting he had won $10K..... hope it comes true
Interesting, James - hope it was a premonition! Didn't happen today - got my highest Cash Up won of $9 on ticket #016, but Cash Fever #026 lost. Just a couple more free tickets on the $2 games - Whole Lotta Hundreds seems to have even more than usual lately. 2 Free Tickets in a row in fact today. Electric 8s has been losing. #059 20x the Money also lost. Just not a good day this time.

I won on Cash Fever, finally - even if it was $20 on #028, at least I got a win. But I spent too much today to get $33 total (the Pharmacy in Phoenixville gave me money for my free tickets - then I lost the $13 I had at the Pharmacy.)
Mega Multiplier #027 lost - like the number overall, but it's one of those bad numbers on Multiplier - at least where I buy them (got the Cash Fever and Mega Multiplier at Giant.)
Tomorrow I'll spend less. When I feel on a roll, sometimes I have a day where I go for it. Didn't work out.

Hey Matt. I been google mapping to find some off beat places in Oaks, Egypt, Schwenksville etc. I have off the week at the end of the month to watch my dads pets. I dont want to spend too much,. I am thinking $50ish at one given spot. Just trying to see if anything jumps out at me. I am thinking the place next to my work has alot of $1000 winners. Does this mean they will continue or better to hit some low traffic place..

Hi, omiller - I've heard high traffic is good, because then the losers can be bought up more quickly. I also think some stores do get better tickets - look how dr has said some stores in the same area as her good stores don't win as often. If you want advice on a place down here, you could PM. Of the ones I've been to, there's only one that I might recommend.

Congrats! I'm also doing a little better in PA, but if it lasts or not we'll see.
At Giant I got:
1 Cash Extravaganza (#026) - won $40; 3 straight wins on this game now
2 Hot $100,000 (#029 and #030) - #029 won $25
2 Whole Lotta Hundreds (#126 and #127) - #127 won a Free Ticket
1 Dice Doubler (#180) - lost
Tried my luck at Wawa and got $12/$20 + another free ticket. #149 All That Glitters (last ticket) won for $2 which was a letdown. Not bad for that particular Wawa. Done for the day while I still have a profit.
Matt!! Great job on your hits on the C.E.'s!! 3 in a row mght mean a pick up on that game. I've seen some $25's and
$50's and of course the *get what you put in* $20's
That's a nice win on the Hot ticket too...I have been seeing matches - 3 times now in the bonus area for $10 big ones.
I love (NOT!) how they tempt you with the $500 and $250 amounts in the bonus area.
With the rise and fall of winnings and the absolute lag sometimes too - ticket price wins, $0 losses, misuse of symbols
I'm convinced they're gearing up for the payouts on the raffle tickets.
The worst tickets currently out there now are.....SLOTS AND 20X the Money!! Incredible since the remaining prize chart
shows the most tickets available on 20x the Money.
I ain't buying no dang pack in this lop-sided instant ticket economy.
PA Lottery (the ENTITY, not the poster...although, I wonder where the poster went )
Maybe s/he can come on and explain away the obvious decrease in instant payouts.
Maybe the poster is the guy I talked to...and will tell us all - it's all random. We need a description of random. I don't

Matt, when you have a FREE ticket, are your clerks sticklers on giving you another ticket?
In my area, a FREE is an auto-matic $2 in cash..that's pretty much all the stores I go to..oh, there is one exception,
Giant...they have a drawer where they'll pull off one for every one you turn in.
PA Lottery (poster)...let's get you talking here...what's the hub-bub on the way FREE tickets are handled?...Seems to me
that PA lottery (mega-conglomerate) would INSIST that FREE tickets be given for FREE ticket wins..that way people have
to roll the money back into the chance at another FREE ticket or $0 and with the $2 filler tickets, that's about what they'll

Thanks, dr65! I only wish today went as well. Your post is a really good one and said what I think. 20x the Money SHOULD be better than it is, but I agree - don't even remember my last win over $10 on it. New tickets in about a week now - we'll see if the Lottery has been listening.

It depends on the store. Yes, Giant ALWAYS gives free tickets. Wawa's machines will give you a free ticket if that same ticket is in stock. Wegmans gives cash. The Royersford beer store gives you the free tickets.

My store will actually let me pick. Say I have $18 and a $2 free ticket. I can get a $20 ticket if I like.. I been to other places where they keep them aside and make you get a ticket of the same value.

GG on your wins Matt and James, anyone else I missed ..Took a few days off from the lottery then gave in and played 5 $5 bingo's in a row..000-004 all lost..then got 005 and won $5..that is pathetic..so I bought a 20x and lost on that one..so I'm back to feeling that the lottery is pathetic again right now..
I like playing the bingos because it takes you longer to know you lost...ha ha
They definately are doing something wrong right now..long strings of losers then a ticket price win...not making too many people happy...
Back to taking a break from the tickets..until I hear that they change some..
