Hi Matt! I know, I had lost some interest in posting the scratch off ticket results. I suspected for awhile
that they were playing with the wins...or had previously timed the wins to come to this point just in time
for the raffle - I'm sure they tinker with the random prospect of things, it's not just a 'throw them into the
mix and see what happens'...I play a lot of tickets and have a lot of wins, that's the way it goes. There
have been $100's here and there but NOWHERE near the amount they were coming in awhile back. I
told you before about the Cash Fever..that is the best example of the decline.
It's a great thing that you don't buy many tickets because I'll tell you that you will see a lot of $5 wins,
no wins, $10 wins max on the $5 tickets...on the $10's...you'll see a LOT of $10's, $0.00's and a $20
once in a great while ($10x2) I've seen $50's as the new $100's.
The $100's were actually a nice surprise considering the last couple weeks/few weeks have been 1/2 or
less than 1/2 of that.
I'm not suggesting that the lottery cheats...lol!...I'm declaring that they think...and think about it more
than anyone knows. The odds have to be accurate..but when all is said and done and all the top prizes
have been awarded and the game is closed..I would love to see the final/actual odds. I'm suspicious
that they are not quite the already rotten odds of slightly over 1 in 4 as they so willingly broadcast.
I think it works out to higher odds yet.
Think about it this way...if 3,000,000 tickets are sold and those 3 M contain the 3 top prizes and they are
redeemed and the game closed....what of the remaining 3 - 4 million tickets and the prizes within those?
How MANY prizes are left in a closed run?
They can talk odds all day to me but until they release a prizes won report containing the UNPAID
portion of each game run, I'm not listening.
If I sound down, I'm not...I don't get down..as in the dumps, lol! I do like to consider myself a realist
though. They have so many players that the realistic side of the game will never need attention be-
cause so many people buy these things looking for the big one and don't consider the whole picture.
Heck, I look for the big one too but don't think that buying up a whole bin of them is going to get it for
me. My m/o remains the same.....1 to 2 ($20), 1 to 2/3 ($10's)1 to 4 ($5's), 5 to 10 ($2's) and up to 20
at a pop for $1.00 tickets.
I'll ALWAYS play because I LOVE the scratchers...that does not prevent me from 'issuing' some opinions
on what I see happening through loads of experience and remaining realistic about playing and winning.
Take it easy everyone on these things if you're on a budget....for now.
If not...play away!! It's still fun scratching!!
