Just missed 3 million by a day! There is one machine I always play in this store and one game I played heavily. Infact I picked few of those tix on Wednesday. I wanted to go there Thursday but din't..That very roll hit $3 Mil..My bad..I emptied bins there before..I missed on this one..Jeez.
You too brotha ? Wow. Maybe we arent meant to win a million......I dont know........ It sucks though huh
3 million and your a net millionaire. a million though and your lucky to get 400 or 500k net after taxes. Still I would take that and finally quit this dam game

Yes James, woulda been like 1.3 or 1.4 Mil net. I am kicking myself now, I emptied bins for that game two, three months ago. Now that I scaled back, someone hits it.

dr65, Ill post the story once its published. You should see this mug
Im just glad it wasnt the clerk at Publix, the one who would abandon the customers in her line and make a mad dash towards the machine on her employers time and scratch while she scans them out.....
Oh man, I'm just sick about that. I'll tell you what....awhile back, my grocery store where I play - not my most fav
place but it's a place I go to often enough....anyway, the clerk hawk there that's always strolling over to the machine when
she's supposed to be working and buying tickets to sneak in the back to scratch won $250,000 - Now the reason this is sick
is because I can figure this out....I was buying tickets there and playing the $10's and hit up one each of the $20's and probably
left that there for her to come into in the morning. The news of this win was like next morning when I went in because the
checkers were buzzing and so were the customers that were in. She was sitting there saying how she can't believe it.
I pieced this story together in my mind many times after that....I was thinking HEY, now....
I was just in that stinking store the night before.
I mean someone could say: Ahhh, it probably was 10 tickets away from what I was playing. NO it WASN'T.
It was right before closing and I was there the next morning at opening.
I just didn't feel that ticket. So I bought one and was done.
This is a case where buying more than once and done kicked me in the butt. I got over it and it was so long ago
that the way she plays, she's probably right back to where she started. There's a little contempt there because she's
not too nice anyway. I won over $200k before but it just sucks to think that one was there.
I can't wait to see the guy James....I'll bet he looks like the freak in the pickup truck in my area...this guy is just plain
demented. He moves faster than almost anyone I know. BAM, BAM, BAM....and out to his truck. He's back in the
store in about 10 seconds flat. He likes the $20's and buys out the whole dang bin if he can. Then he'll come in and
announce - YES! Got a thousand!! ALRIGHTTTTT.....well shut the h*ll up I don't need a dang newflash. I don't have
a problem celebrating with a sane person, if they win a good one, I'm right in there with the good feelings for them
if they tell me what they hit. It's the ones that hawk/grab/snatch/broadcast/gloat....I HATE them. They should be dumped
in a pit somewhere. A little gas and a match wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Definitely agree with you on the anticipation thing. I like purchasing tickets in the morning and just daydream at work about what I'd do if I ever won. For as much as I spend on the lottery, I've never been tempted to go to a casino and gamble. Mohegan Sun is 20 minutes away and I've only been there a few times, none of which have been to gamble.
Jenn. Is Mohegan the one with the golf course? I know a few people down my way that go up to that one. Once I am able to golf again, I wouldnt mind going up there and spending the night and hit the casino. To me the casinos are alot more fun. I am not a table guy like James.I mainly don't understand them well enough except blackjack. I play the slots and have fun doing it. I will generally play a machine to a decent amount, cash out and stick the receipt in my right pocket. I will grab another $20 from my left and keep playing. I will repeat until I felt like I been there enough or ran out of cash. Will cash out my receipt and generally leave. Pretty much break even and played for an hour or two.
**Edit: Just realized MT Airy in the Poconos is the one with the golf course.

The only reason I keep playing PA tickets is to go out on a big win. But it never shows up. The tickets are beyond horrible. 9 Fat Wallet tries in a row have lost. Haven't won more than $10 on any of the new tickets. Always ticket value or $0 wins. The few good ones that are out there won't even get me even the way they are.

Well, I did get a $20 on one out of 4 tries on the new $20 - but it was ticket value so I didn't even remember I won more than $10 - lol.
I memntioned being 1 for 16. I think I hit more times on the $1 ticket with less tries. Join me over in the daily #. Thats my new hangout. At least I know every store has the right Daily # in it. I just have to tell them the right one :)

Thanks for the invite! After I finally win on a $5 ticket, I am switching. Have had it with the instants.

I may not be on this thread for a while because I don't feel like posting every time I waste money on PA scratch offs. Just know I am ok and that I might not be back until either I win something big or after my Birthday play in May. I won't be playing much after I win on a $5 ticket.

Matt good to see you again. I think it might be best to wait on the new tickets...and go 5 days max. That's where the winners
will be. At least in PA, you can still count on the sucker punch...they must think we're a bunch of bloomin' idiots or something.
Buy them when they're new..but the only thing that has changed about that tactic is: Buy them for 3 days, 5 tops. No more
2 week winning sprees on these things. It dries up and it's business as usual in 5 days. Pity.

Hi, dr! Problem is I haven't even been seeing those when they are brand new. This recent batch was particularly empty. I think I'll try the latest Whole Lotta Hundreds clone briefly, but I feel I am losing too much money.

Agreed. Played some #'s tonight and decided on another $20 Hit Million and it lost. 1 for $17 with only a $20 hit. Also tried a PA Million and lost. I am with you Matt. New batches and scratch offs in general are just plain bad. At least in my neck of the woods at the times I decide to play.

went to the store to play my numbers with 20bucks , played 10 on lottery and looked over to the loosers bin and noticed alot of (7's) tickets in there ....so i decided what the heck .... bought one and nothing so i had another 5 and at that point i figured im walking home with this 5 or nothing so i bought the next one and won 40.... bought me a pack of smokes and tickets the girl accidently played (314 str8 n box) then feeling lucky i bought a $5 win for life ticket and that had a $20 winner ....so i marched home with almost 50 bucks in my pocket.....and im done for the day .... i dont want to be greedy and wind up loosing it all
