Great Idea!  I limit myself to one line each draw to MM now that powerball will go up to $2 a line.  No more than 104 a year.

always make a budget for gambling.

            my yearly is,

            $780.00 for lottery.

            $200.00 for football.

            $600.00 for horse racing.

sometimes i go over, but that is w/ tip $ that i do not count in budget.

Sounds like an idea I need to follow. I'm just willy nilly dishing out money everyday. I need a budget and strategy.

Ah a reminder that resolution time is right around the corner. Confused Nice plan to shake things up a bit and not let a year go by with the same m/o.

Good luck to you in 2012!

I have noticed that most lottery winners have used a  lottery stop loss limit to budget their playing money. They play with a spending limit in mind in order to win. I wanted to share my playing method with the lottery post community so we can get some wealth in the future. There is enough for everybody. Good luck fellow players.

I spent the $60 a year budget last week, but I did cash for $102. A Premium Membership only costs $71.55 a year, but apparently that would cripple a $60 a year budget. I'm not knocking the $1 or $2 dollar a week players; I just hope their win expectations aren't two high.

Playing games like PB and MM, a $600 a year budget would be more logical. With any type of gambling we should only spend what we can afford to lose whether it be $1 week or $60 a week.

You can use playing method 2) playing less often for more lines. You will be covering more combinations with this method on a single draw.Even though you have zero chance in the draws you don't enter, you're actually better off overall. You are basically saving lotto lines by skipping drawings regardless of jackpot size in order to play more lines in a single draws.

With a lottery stop loss limit of $60 annually. I can use playing method 2) playing less often for more lines this way.New powerball game I could play $20 in spring, $20 in summer, $20 in winter in order to cover 10 lines in one draw. How about this I can also play six months of the year for $10 to cover 5 lines in a single draw.  I can also play the $60 dollars in a single draw per year and not play again until the next year. The only problem with this playing method is that you will not be able to play many drawings in order to save line for a single draw.

The powerball jackpot winners from connecticut won the $254.2 powerball jackpot by 3) Playing less often for less lines. They bought 1 Quick Pick Ticket when the jackpot was $254.2 millions.
