When playing 28 numbers there is a possibility of having 5 or 6 consecutive numbers and/or 5 or 6 numbers in the same decade and when playing a large combo 4 if 4 wheel, several lines may have 4 or 5 of those numbers when the numbers are entered by numerical order. The object is to increase your odds so you don't want an extra amount of very low percentage combos.
There is a 46 combo 2 if 5 of 56 number wheel on LP that's probably hardly used, but it reduces the odds of matching five numbers to about 85,000 to 1 and that ain't bad for a $46 bet. You can use all the bonus numbers reducing the cost to $44. When using any size wheel when five of the numbers are drawn there, the order of how the numbers are entered into the wheel is the difference between matching five numbers on one line or getting the wheel's minimum guarantee.

Thanks Stack, I have been using "mixed" order input for that very reason.

Sure I buy lottery tickets but only after I've thought about it.
When ever I play 10-20 lines they are picked using a RNG that cycles 1000-5000 times or more and produce more than 200-500 lines within the parameters I chose of which I picked 10-20 to play but save them all to check after the drawing.
The 10-20 lines I play usually do as well as any in the group I saved and usually the first 10 lines do the best in the group of 20.
With those kinds of results so far, I question the value of playing more than 10 lines but usually play 20 to give myself some extra chances at winning.
It's not so much that more than 30 lines isn't in my budget as I don't have a reason to play more lines.
Obviously you've come to a different conclusion and I say good luck to you and I hope you win a jackpot.
I would not say our conclusions are so different RJOh, I often don't play any lines at all after thinking about it. The odds difference between 10 lines and even the 230 lines that I played last draw are so minuscule that there truly is almost no reason whatsoever to play the extra lines.
A 1 in 39 chance that is easily cut to 1 in 15 is a different story though.
Thats like betting a winner in a field of 15 horses.
These would be my numbers if I were playing 4 if 4 of 10 tonight. I was going to play this for 10 draws until I realized that I would be stuck with the same bonus number for 10 draws, which I may not want.

Once again my 10, 12 and even 20 number groups are not hitting.

I have seen 3 and 4 consecutive numbers in the winning draws, so I don't mind playing a few of them.

You should see 4 or 5 consecutive numbers about once out of every 1444 drawings because only 2704 combos have 4 to 5 consecutive numbers. The probability of 3 or more consecutive numbers in the history of the game is 13 and maybe RJ has the actual number. I'd keep the combinations with 3 or less consecutive numbers, but since the total of combos was reduced by 95%, I wouldn't want very many other combos having only a 0.07% chance of being drawn.

Thanks Stack47, excellent point, I have not generated a 4 if 4 of 28 yet but when I do I will check it for the 4-5 consecutive number combos.
