Id also like to know the ft.myers area stores with those 2 tickets if possible.  :)

Ft. Myers area 50X:

Fort Myers District 1224 / 50XTHECASH 1 0 11760 Metro Parkway, Fort Myers (239) 278-7111

North Port Dash In Dash Out 1224 / 50XTHECASH 0 1 13501 S Tamiami Trail, North Port (941) 240-6592

Handy Food #85 1224 / 50XTHECASH 0 1 1400 N River Dr, Labelle (863) 675-1556

Gas & Shop Food Mart 1224 / 50XTHECASH 0 1 2327 Han<snip> Bridge Parkway, Cape Coral (239) 656-6171

My $200MS info is a month old now and probably wouldn't be very accurate. For $200MS the best thing to do would be to email your district rep for an up-to-date list.

Joann Cootware is the rep for that area. Email: SOMD10@dol.state.fl.us

Adam, let's just go buy every $200MS and 50X ticket in the state. I'll drive. You pay. ROFL

Thank You! I try to stop in the Sunoco stores when I pass them as they usually have a larger/older selection ... this helps a lot and I will go soon and buy a few

By the way, about the 50X game at present, I added up all of the district totals, and between both currently activated and unactivated books, there are only 130 books of 50X in the entire state. And since the game cannot be ordered (shy of perhaps a few stragglers in transit or returned to a warehouse), these are all the tickets in existence.

Even if only 1 of the reported 3 top prizes is left, the odds at a $1M prize are better than with pretty much anything else ($200MS being the exception).

One place I found on the list has 18 50X books in stock, none of which are activated. A tiny little corner store in Vero Beach.

        Snappy Food Store 1224 / 50XTHECASH 0 18 1196 Old Dixie Highway, Vero Beach (772) 567-8799

That seems like a strangely high number of books for them to have on hand, does it not? Maybe I'll go by this place and find out if they plan on activating one of them.

Also, could you post the rest of this district please? Thank you.

As of this morning, here are all the places in/around Jacksonville that have the 50X ticket...

Quick word on reading the below info: where you see "1224 / 50XTHECASH 1 11", 1224 is the game number, 50XTHECASH is the name (obviously), 1 is the number of activated books, 11 is the number of books in inventory. That's for the Jax DO.

          If you see "1224 / 50XTHECASH 0 1": it means 0 books activated, 1 in inventory.

          And so on...

I have the list for the entire state and someone else asked me for Tampa so I'll post that in a min. If you want any other places let me know. Posting the entire list would be a pain because I asked for a few different games when I requested it and they all came on the same report (which isn't particularly sortable), so I have to cherry-pick the 50X locations.

I'd have a hard time not doing it if I were you, as it's looked (and been claimed) each book is supposed to have around 50% of the cost given back. So actual cost of four books is what, $1200? I'm not encouraging you, but I totally get what you're saying.

With how few books of the 50X tickets remaining, I'd assume at least 1 of the $1 million prizes is out there. As far as the lotto rep removing those books from the store you found the winning ticket, those types of shady practices are what made me suspect the Holiday Gifts didn't have any jackpots out there. I also think the chances of a second top prize being found is very slim.

You guys talking so much about 50X is making me think about buying some this Friday. I'm going to be in Gainesville on Friday, but I might also check out a couple of stores in Jax when I head back. If I hit a big prize like $500+ plus, I'll reinvest that into buying more of the 50X tickets.

Let the 50X ticket be the new $10 Holiday Gifts. Let's have someone from our Lotto Post community hit the jackpot!

Have a question that some of you might be able to help me with..

They automatically took 25% for taxes.  Everything I was reading had me expecting to pay 39.6%.

They said nothing else about taxes... Should I be expecting to pay another 14.9% in tax at some point? Thats about $165k...

Adam, get to a CPA tax accountant ASAP!

$200 to a CPA is cheaper than an IRS penalty!

You owe estimated taxes for this quarter and a CPA will tell you this.

The CPA will also tell you how much you owe on the 3.8% Obamacare tax that you now have to pay because you made over $250,000 this year!

See a CPA Tax Accountant the sooner the sooner.

I hope I am not the first one to tell you this?

Actually, at that volume, the base return should be even higher, probably 60-ish% without hitting a jackpot.

I worked it out using my lists (estimating half-books for each of the currently active ones) and to buy every $200MS AND every 50X ticket left in the state would be around $100k. Supposedly there are 5 $1M prizes left between them, which we all know is unlikely. But even if there's only one, it's still a 5:1 return on the outlay.

I wouldn't have a hard time not doing it, myself. I'd just do it. But, I'm a single dude with no kids to plan futures for (and no intention of ever having any). So, if I lost $40k or so taking a shot at it (had I $1M in the bank), it wouldn't bother me much.

My apologies. Apparently my area is split in two, I assumed Vero Beach and the rest of the Treasure Coast would be together, could I bother you to post the district that includes Fort Pierce as well?

Oh I just meant the 4 books in his area. I wouldn't risk trying to get all of the books in the state with expectations of those remaining prizes still existing. I have some faith in Florida Lottery keeping good records of prizes remaining, but not THAT much faith in them. Lol

I meant to ask in my prior post, what other games did you request at the time?

The main other game I asked for, which totally polluted the list, is the $2,000,000 Jackpot. For having only 1 prize left and over a year since the last jackpot was claimed, there are a LOT more of those still in play than I expected. More than 50X and $200MS combined (and then doubled). Just doing a quick rough sum glancing at the totals, it looks like there are more than six hundred books still out there.

My apologies. Apparently my area is split in two, I assumed Vero Beach and the rest of the Treasure Coast would be together, could I bother you to post the district that includes Fort Pierce as well?

I went straight for the Vero Beach stuff and didn't notice how much territory the district actually covers.
