Thanks for the offer Ridge- however l do not live in San Francisco, last visited it a year ago, not my cup of tea either. The term " Bay Area" is vast, it includes all the cities close to the Bay fyi. I live in Fremont which is 25-40 mins from SF and our panhandlers are certainly not as numerous as SF.We have the ones on street corners with the signs " Poverty sucks- can you help?"
I recall on one visit to the city * SF, a tourist telling a panhandler " why don't you get yourself a job?"- his reply was " This IS my job"
Yeah its that's kind of city.

OK, I got mine. Representin' for the most populous county in Cali and the USofA:

Brisk sales are being reported for Powerball here in CA. Expect the jackpot / cash value to be higher than MM by the time the draw comes around.

looks like you have better luck with QPs than I do. I always seem to get numbers from the previous draw or 4 consecutive numbers when I buy QPs.

I will be getting my tickets tomorrow. I am still not decided on how many. I'm thinking I'll just wait until I get to the 7-eleven and see what I feel like spending. When I buy my Super Lotto tickets, I get my numbers (two lines) and quck picks. I'll probably just go for quick picks with the PB. And I realize I am better off buying MM considering the cash payouts for both but I want to be in on the first California PB drawing.

I bought 2 tickets. I picked the numbers for one and got one QP and since it is my first time buying a Poweball ticket will use that QP the rest of my life or until it hits the jackpot for me.

Did you notice ....

The Powerball jackpot is at 60 mil with the estimated cash value of $38,900,000.

The MegaMillions jackpot is at 56 mil with an estimated cash value of $42,300,000

It is interesting that more is less. *L*
