OK, I got mine. Representin' for the most populous county in Cali and the USofA:

PowerballTicket

Brisk sales are being reported for Powerball here in CA. Expect the jackpot / cash value to be higher than MM by the time the draw comes around.

I don't think so.  The previous PB jackpot of $50 million ($31.2 million cash) was underfunded by ~$13 million.  The lotteries would have to sell over 35 million tickets for this draw to push the jackpot higher than it is.

Yeah, that is correct. I didn't realize how horribly underfunded PB is compared to MM. No increase to JP this time, even with high CA sales.

I sure like the sound of that, oh wait.... it was just a stupid game.

I did purchase $10 dollars worth. Will I win, noooopppppeeeee, now some would guess me as a glass half empty type of person. I look at it as a glass half full situation that I won't win lol.

~$8 million was from Cali, so did other states stay away because of the "Cali is joining PB" bummer factor? Sulk Off

For some weird reason, in general, ticket sales have simply been higher for Saturday draws than they have been for Wednesday draws - last Wednesday's draw (4/3) sold 5 million less tickets ($10 million less in sales) than last night's draw.

As for the PB jackpots, with the increase in ticket sales from California, PB jackpots should be fully funded at around the sixth draw in this run (assuming no winner Saturday or next Wednesday), and at around the fifth draw in future runs.

How did you get 5 of your own lines and 5 qps on the same ticket. Do your playslips allow you to play ten games. Ours are 5 lines.

Yep, same like our MM playslips: 5 self picks (or quick picks) plus additional 5 more QPs.

Lotta good it did me...$20 bucks down the drain...

The Mega Millions jackpot needs to be won and re-set to $12 million this Friday for Powerball sales to reach fever pitch. If the lottery gods are listening, I volunteer please let it be me. It's a tough job but someone's gotta do it! Yes Nod
