typo in the last post.

The equation should be ?? = Sum - 2 - 15.

Knowing x-1 and x0 what is x1?

Below is a bar graph of the Mega Ball (MB) Insequence Sum probabilities.

Based on the last two draws, the possible sums that can fit the equation ?? = Sum - 2 - 15 are 18 to 32.

These can be shown on the next bar graph.

Based on the Insequence Sum probability, the next most likely MB number is 7 and the least likely is 15.

We can make a table of the MB numbers sorted by Insequence Sum probability.

Each of the MB numbers are in order of most likely at top and least likely at bottom.

The last two Mega Millions draws show 14 and 11 in column A.

        2015515111721367415

Using these numbers we can find the possible Sums: 14 + 11 + ?? = Sum

        The equation becomes: ?? = Sum - 14 - 11

The possible sums that can fit the equation are 26 to 96.

We can see the distribution of the Insequence Sums for the A column below.

With the range of Insequence Sums of 26 to 96, the range can be charted as follows.

We setup a table showing the column A number sorted by highest probable to least.

As we can see the number 6 has the highest probable next occurrence and 71 is the lowest.

With reference to sums in Take 5  in NY, I had a program where the sums were reduced to roots. I then looked at the highest percentage of range of sums.

I used a range of 9. So if the highest % range was 100-109 and the root of 2 was over due. I would play the sum of 101 and get my  combos narrowed down that way. It's amazing when you play this way how often you get the sum right on.

This should give a good list to wheel across the board by position.  I am going to try it on a number of different

data's sets and see how it does in back-test.  In the past running similar analysis I noticed that many times the

most probable number will show within one place to the left or right of the position being analyzed.

                Thumbs Up

This may be a little off topic as it deals with the white balls but as I mentioned above the most probable

number for a position may show in another position.  I think this could be due to the data format.  Most

of us sort the numbers after the drawing from the lowest to highest.  If the analysis was done using the

numbers as they were drawn it might make a difference and account for my prementioned observations.

We're working through some precision details as it relates to the probability percentages.

Also, we are working on getting an Excel file to select numbers.

As for the shift in number position, it's partly related to a 3 dimensional shift arising from the nature of the three number summation.
