Can you do a sheet for p3?

Also, can you do one for a p5 game where the user can change the upper limit to any value: 34,35,36,37 etc?  As a result, it can be used by different states? Thanks for everything!

There are some computational precision issues we are working through for a generic function for any large set of numbers.

Most of this has to do with decimal places that can be computed in Excel; typically on a 32bit system.

We began to think about an application of the Insequence Sums to the Powerball and Mega Millions games.

This will have an interesting way of helping to pick the next set of numbers using only 2 previous draws.

First, let's look at the Insequence Sums for Mega Millions.

The last 3 draws as of 2015-05-17 are below:

                          YearMonthDayABCDEMB
                          2015589212566727
                          201551214303336442
                          2015515111721367415

We can use the Insequence Sum to get a sum for each column.

This is just one example of an Insequence Sum.

Like the Insequence Sum for Pick 3, there is a Sum and Count or Frequency Distribution of the sums in each column.

Below are the Insequence Sum Distributions for just the Powerball and Mega Ball numbers.

Jade first and foremost thanks for sharing and your hard work.  I was doing fine until the Insequence Sum Distributions for just the Powerball and Mega Ball numbers.  Are these figures a "know" calculation?  How did you get the SUM of 3 to have a count of 1?  SUM 4 to have a count of 3 etc....

Stay In The Vortex, you'll be happy you did ..... Random? Seriously? You want me to believe that?
