Does your version of DMP have the N-Stack tool and if so do you ever use it?  I am thinking of making a few mod's

and adding it to the CF program as a filter option.  Also I wanted to ask about the group tool that comes with DMP

    vs the old dos version.

In the DMP version one has three options block, play or run wild.  If you remember in the old dos version the user

selected the groups played by number position.  When I made the change I don't think I ever worked up to the

same level of hits that I had with the dos version.  I am adding a groups tool to CF and think I will go with a rewrite

of the old dos version adding a few things such as the steps and SC analysis to each position.  The two versions are

very close in the way they work but the analysis was quite different.   Below is a picture of the N-stack as I think I

used several names before going with N-Stack,  This program was based on something winsum was working on way

back.  Maybe if he still uses it he can chime in, I never got around to testing it in live play.

they are not.  Many great discoveries come while searching for something else

Yes, it does have the N-stack filter but I never got around to using it in my paper or live play. The thing is each filter needs a different kind of analysis and it's easy to get mixed up when one uses more than a couple of them at the same time.

As to groups it's a 3 version version so play, block or running wild irrespective of positions. It would be very helpful to go by position as it would greatly limit the number of sets generated but I remember it was not a hit/miss pattern but the number of hits and I never had much success with it.

That's what I played last night. I had a bit too many sets- over 200 so reduction was not particularly successful. Anyway it shows that you do not need to use so many filters to get to 200 odd sets from all 850,000 combination in the matrix.DMP

                              Adam

I decided to go with both and threw in a few filters.  In the positional groups I have three analysis tools,

group-values, steps and S/C.  The center is overall groups and works much like the DMP version with three

options Wild, Play and Block.  The filters I went with are independent-digits, independent-decades, group-

mirrors and total-groups.  The top option allows for up to 3 groups to be used for each number position.

The tool can be ran as a full wheel or as a "run-file-mode."  I hope to find time to finish it in the next few days.
