According to the Dominion website,

"Baseless claims about Dominion Voting Systems and the November 2020 election have been fully debunked by election authorities, subject matter experts, and third-party fact-checkers."

Because that's how much US Dominion is suing him for. Not saying Dominion will get a monetary judgment for the amount asked or a much lower amount but the Supreme Court tossed out Lindell's appeal meaning a trial can start.

Ginni Thomas claims 2020 election was stolen in meeting with House Jan. 6 committee. But as with all the rest of the Trump Kool-Aid drinkers, the wife of a Supreme Court Justice has no evidence to back up her claim. 

Even Sidney Powell's lawyers acknowledged "Reasonable people' wouldn't believe Powell's election fraud claims". Let's hope Clarence Thomas is reasonable.

And charged with charged with falsifying records under Michigan election law and using a computer to commit a crime. But hey, why not when Trump has many of his court appointees in his pocket "like so many nickels and dimes".

Saw a story about a Michigan woman claiming she parlayed $50 into $11 million playing Roulette at a licensed Online casino. Said she lost about $8 million and stopped playing with $3 million in winnings. The article was more about her attempting to claim the winnings than how she could win millions starting with $50.

The claim was she went to a regular casino, got a $100,000 cash advance but when she went back to collect the rest of the winnings, was told there was a glitch, the winnings were not real, but she could keep the $100,000 if she signed a waver and didn't tell anyone. That's when the first red flag appeared. 

It's an understatement to say "there was a glitch" when someone claims they parlayed $50 into $11 million by "playing most of the Roulette numbers". Read on the casino's website there is a $250 straight wager limit on Roulette so she had to win 1250 times playing just one straight number to win $11 million without any losses. By playing "most of the numbers" and starting with $50, it's highly unlikely she could win $500. And another red flag.

That Online casino is licensed in Michigan and very doubtful they would risk being suspended even if a player could win $11 million. State Lotteries placed limits on how much a drawing pays out by either limiting the number of tickets sold or by dividing their limit by the number of winning tickets. 

Maybe it's just another example of someone very gullible believing they could win that much or more likely believing lots of people would believe their story. IMO, I'd trust Online casinos run by a state lottery or possibly one run by a large casino company.

Former President Donald Trump shared a post on his Truth Social account on Friday, declaring him as "second" only to Jesus. Can't wait for Paula White's Truth Social response.

Jones said "it's his right as an American to falsely accuse parents of being involved in a plot to stage school shootings."

Said that after a Texas jury awarded $45.2 million dollars in punitive damages in a defamation suit brought by the parents of a murdered Sandy Hook elementary school student whom "extremist conspiracy media baron Alex Jones smeared as a crisis actor”.

But almost every die hard MAGA Kool-Aid drinking Trump supporter see nothing wrong with Jones' InfoWars.

"The appeals court also pointedly noted that Trump had presented no evidence that he had declassified the sensitive records, as he maintained as recently as Wednesday, and rejected the possibility that Trump could have an "individual interest in or need for" the roughly 100 documents with classification markings that were seized by the FBI in its Aug. 8 search of the Palm Beach property."

Regardless of his weird claims that he could declassify the documents by simply thinking about doing it, the Appeals Court ruled the documents belong to the People.

And the people of New York seeks $250 million in penalties. Found a copy of the actual lawsuit. For those following along, this is civil and not a criminal lawsuit.

Just saw a Blog entry titled "Biden is not a war time president" but on further review, the article in link says nothing about being a "war time president". It's just another example of someone trying to mislead people he thinks will believe his obvious BS.

Do all the MAGA Kool-Aid drinkers think everybody is as gullible as them or just some of the Trump lovers here?

Last week they took his phone and now this. After being in court multiple times on illegal drugs charges, one would think Mike has enough sense not use a cell phone to run a multi-million dollar business. His high priced bargain basement lawyer should give him a lesson on "absents of malice speech" too.

"The Pretrial Fairness Act abolishes cash bail and provides for a presumption in favor of release for misdemeanors, traffic offenses and other petty offenses, provided a defendant is not deemed a risk to the community by the arresting officer."

Never was arrested so I don't know the pretrial process or how the bail amount is determined. I know of a woman that lost her house when you used it as collateral to bail out her son. He was arrested on drug related changes, missed several court dates, and the bail bondsman had no other choice.

Interesting law, because pretrial incarceration there is a presumption of guilt especially for misdemeanors. Many people spent time in jail and later were found not guilty.

Maybe someone here had experience and can explain the process from arrest to arraignment, pretrial bail hearing, and how long someone that couldn't post bail was in jail.

And adding to the "what were they thinking" question, Marco Rubio is co-sponsoring Graham's ill timed bill banning women's rights. Rubio is in a close reelection battle and there are many other issues that could help his campaign. Read a poll showing most inflation is most important to Americans. For instance:

"Jeanine Spanjers, 44, from Racine, Wisconsin, said that rising inflation had caused her to change her lifestyle, including driving less, skipping vacations and even abstaining from popcorn when she goes to the movies. A state employee, she also said she believed that Democrats were handing out too many government subsidies, pointing to relief payments distributed during the pandemic.

“What’s getting on my nerves is all this free stuff,” she said, criticizing how all the children at her son’s school received food stamp cards, including families who could afford to pay for lunch. “Republicans would never do something like that. It disincentivizes people to go out and do something. I’m starting to feel like people are being rewarded for not doing anything.”

Many of the Florida voters feel the same way but by making something the Supreme Court said belongs to the states a Federal issue, Rubio can only lose votes. Especially when many Florida voters agree with Spanjers.

"Still, Spanjers said she planned to vote only for Democrats, saying abortion is her top issue. “I had made that choice once, and I have two sons,” she said. “There’s people who can’t afford kids and shouldn’t have kids, or just maybe it isn’t the right time in their life.”

Old white men can spin the issue many ways but the women will be deciding "Yes or No" on having a choice.
