The Republican lead House can't undo the congressional record of the votes that happened and the House wasn't the only chamber involved. They can't undue the Senate record of votes that happened or the Senate trial records.

"Corrections; Deletions Under clause 8 of rule XVII, the substantially verbatim account of remarks made during debate and published in the Congressional Record is subject only to technical, grammatical, and typographical corrections authorized by the Member making the remarks involved."

Not surprising McCarty believes past Congressional records can be changed; he had no problem with highly classified documents haphazardly being stored in golf course bathrooms and other places. Next week he will waste even more tax payer time and money trying to change the number of votes it took for him to be elected Speaker.

On Sunday, Pence complained about the prosecution of his former running mate by pretending he is clueless about the Presidential Records Act and the Espionage Act. Have no idea why the former VP lied and attacked the Justice Department for not prosecuting violent protesters during the summer of 2020 after the slaying of George Floyd even though there were over 300 arrests made. 

What's even worse, Pence is blaming the same Justice Department was part of the Trump Administration during the summer of  2020. And he is running for President of the United States?

And Mike Pence can't understand why. Maybe Ramaswamy, Haley, and Suarez read all the evidence in the indictment. Saying if found guilty, they will pardon Trump will play well in the Republican primaries but Ford lost to Carter in the general election after pardoning Nixon if a historical precedent means anything. 

Hopefully one of the QAnon people can explain why these people even think they can beat Trump and win the nomination and general election and then pardon Trump. Not that I see that happening but it would be fun reading Trump's comments on the candidate if he was to lose the nomination.

Maybe they were too busy celebrating the Nuggets winning the NBA championship? Besides there is only one champion every year and it looks like there will be several arraignments.

Trump knew he had classified documents at Mar-a-Lago and knew “As president, I could have declassified them, now I can’t,” The QAnon people really need to look into this because it makes no sense believing he could keep classified documents and carelessly storing them. What if a foreign country, possibly Russia or North Korea made him an offer he couldn't refuse? 

It's difficult believing there was nobody in the Republican Party to instruct Trump on the Presidential Records Act and the handling of classified documents after leaving office. He is correct in saying others including the last two VPs had documents too, but subpoenas weren't required to return them.

Rep. Jim Jordon was on Sunday shows saying “If he (Trump) wants to store material in a box in a bathroom, in a box on the stage, he can do that,” because "a  president can control access to classified material however he wants". Don't know if Jordan is just clueless, but Trump wasn't president when the boxes were stored "on the stage and in a bathroom" and Trump was recorded on tape saying he didn't declassify those documents.

Though they like Jordan are not helping joining the Trump bandwagon by making weird and silly claims, they will continue to make them.

Finally found something he said that I can agree with.

Don't know why the former President believes he is entitled to part of the $787.5 million Fox News settlement with Dominion Voting Systems, but apparently he ranted on Truth Social about it.

Can't wait to read what Trump says after Joseph Stalin Ron DeSantis declares his presidential bid for the GOP nomination on Wednesday.

Been some discussion about if a lottery ticket is a bearer instrument so I checked with Cornell Law School.

"A holder of a lottery game ticket shall be deemed to have AGREED TO ALL THE RULES and PROCEDURES of the commission by the purchase of the ticket." and most state lottery tickets say something like by signing the ticket, the holder agrees to lottery rules and regulation.

There is also a discussion about proving ownership even after signing the ticket. Some are claiming state lottery officials will ask if the signer purchased the ticket. As usual, they show no proof which seems to be SOP for most claims made by people that never actually cashed a large jackpot ticket. 

IMO if I find a ticket that turned out to be a large jackpot winner, I'll contact lottery headquarter before knocking on their door. Doubt it's necessary for the holder to prove they made the purchase but a lawyer can explain our Rights.
