Something wrong with this picture!

Trump knew he had classified documents at Mar-a-Lago and knew “As president, I could have declassified them, now I can’t,” The QAnon people really need to look into this because it makes no sense believing he could keep classified documents and carelessly storing them. What if a foreign country, possibly Russia or North Korea made him an offer he couldn't refuse?

It's difficult believing there was nobody in the Republican Party to instruct Trump on the Presidential Records Act and the handling of classified documents after leaving office. He is correct in saying others including the last two VPs had documents too, but subpoenas weren't required to return them.

Rep. Jim Jordon was on Sunday shows saying “If he (Trump) wants to store material in a box in a bathroom, in a box on the stage, he can do that,” because "a  president can control access to classified material however he wants". Don't know if Jordan is just clueless, but Trump wasn't president when the boxes were stored "on the stage and in a bathroom" and Trump was recorded on tape saying he didn't declassify those documents.

Though they like Jordan are not helping joining the Trump bandwagon by making weird and silly claims, they will continue to make them.

The Greatest Generation!

Those are the fewer than 100,000 living Americans born 1901-1924, that lived through Spanish Flu, the great depression, and many of them were part of the 16 million serving in military during WWII.

According to Veterans affairs,167,284 WWII veterans were still alive in 2022 and we should think of them too while honoring the fallen.

I am entitled to NOTHING?

Don't know why the former President believes he is entitled to part of the $787.5 million Fox News settlement with Dominion Voting Systems, but apparently he ranted on Truth Social about it.

Can't wait to read what Trump says after Joseph Stalin Ron DeSantis declares his presidential bid for the GOP nomination on Wednesday.

Bearer instrument

Been some discussion about if a lottery ticket is a bearer instrument so I checked with Cornell Law School.

"A holder of a lottery game ticket shall be deemed to have AGREED TO ALL THE RULES and PROCEDURES of the commission by the purchase of the ticket." and most state lottery tickets say something like by signing the ticket, the holder agrees to lottery rules and regulation.

There is also a discussion about proving ownership even after signing the ticket. Some are claiming state lottery officials will ask if the signer purchased the ticket. As usual, they show no proof which seems to be SOP for most claims made by people that never actually cashed a large jackpot ticket.

IMO if I find a ticket that turned out to be a large jackpot winner, I'll contact lottery headquarter before knocking on their door. Doubt it's necessary for the holder to prove they made the purchase but a lawyer can explain our Rights.

Another day, another mass shooting

Now it’s God’s fault: Texas Republican slammed for claiming "the almighty' controls shootings".

Not sure why Texas State Rep. Keith Self (R-Allen) believes "we're not taking care of since this nation made the decision that we were gonna close the mental health institutions" because there are 12,275 mental health facilities in the U.S. and Texas has 323. And that includes one Allen, Texas.

With many legislators just like Self, thoughts and prayers will offer and the mass shootings will continue.

What does "woke" mean?

Was called "woke" after giving my opinion on transgender people in sports. Currently I don't know of any transgender competing or dominating in any major sport so I pointed out that Renee Richards was unsuccessful in Women's Tennis. I believe because Richards had sex reassignment surgery, it's not even close to someone identifying as member of the opposite sex. IMO it should be up to the governing bodies in each sport to create rules defining participants but for saying that I was called "woke".

Found an article in USA Today, "What is the meaning of 'woke'?" that only sort of explains the meaning. Basically it's any opinion someone disagrees with. I guess I'm woke because of my opinion on the governing bodies deciding the rules.
