LANTERN's Blog

The final frontier and many other lyrics.

Tell me why, I love you like I do,
Tell me who, Can stop my heart as much as you,
Tell me all your secrets and I'll tell you most of mine,
They say nobody's perfect but it is really true this time,
I don't have the answers,
And I don't have a plan,
All I have is you,
So darling help me understand,
What we do,
You can whisper in my ear,
Where we go,
who knows what happens after here,
Let's take each other's hands,
As we jump into
, the final frontier,
I'm mad about you,
I'm mad about you,
so mad about you...

Old Devil Moon

I looked at you and suddenly
Something in your eyes I see
Soon begins witching me
It's that old devil moon
That you stole from the sky
It's that old devil moon deep in your eyes

You and your glance makes this romance too hot to handle
Stars in the night blazin' their light can't hold a candle
To your razzle dazzle

You've got me flyin' high and wide
On a magic carpet ride
Full of butterflies inside
I wanna cry
Wanna croon
Wanna laugh like a loon
It's that old devil moon deep in your eyes

Just when I think I'm free as a dove
Old evil moon deep in your eyes
Blinds me with love!!

You and your glance makes this romance too hot to handle
Stars in the night blazin' their light can't hold a candle
To your razzle dazzle

You've got me flyin' high and wide

Amore

(In Napoli where love is king
When boy meets girl here's what they say)

When the moon hits you eye like a big pizza pie
That's amore
When the world seems to shine like you've had too much wine
That's amore
Bells will ring ting-a-ling-a-ling, ting-a-ling-a-ling
And you'll sing "Vita bella"
Hearts will play tippy-tippy-tay, tippy-tippy-tay
Like a gay tarantella

When the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool
That's amore
When you dance down the street with a cloud at your feet
You're in love
When you walk down in a dream but you know you're not
Dreaming signore
Scuzza me, but you see, back in old Napoli
That's amore

Fly me to the moon
Let me sing among those stars
Let me see what spring is like
On jupiter and mars

In other words, hold my hand
In other words, baby kiss me

Fill my heart with song
Let me sing for ever more
You are all I long for
All I worship and adore

In other words, please be true
In other words, I love you

------------

Those fingers in my hair
That sly come hither stare
That strips my conscience bare
Its witchcraft

And Ive got no defense for it
The heat is too intense for it
What good would common sense for it do

cause its witchcraft, wicked witchcraft
And although, I know, its strictly taboo

When you arouse the need in me
My heart says yes indeed in me
Proceed with what your leading me to

Its such an ancient pitch
But one I wouldnt switch
cause theres no nicer witch than you

The Bremen Town Musicians

There was a man who owned a donkey, which had carried his sacks to the
mill industriously for many years, but whose strength had come to an
end, so that the poor beast grew more and more unfit for work. The
master determined to stop his food, but the donkey, discovering that
there was no good intended to him, ran away and took the road to
Bremen: There, thought he, I can turn Town Musician.

When he had gone a little way, he found a hound lying on the road and
panting, like one who was tired with running. Hollo! what are you
panting so for, worthy Seize 'em? asked the donkey.

Oh! said the dog, just because I am old, and get weaker every day,
and cannot go out hunting, my master wanted to kill me, so I have
taken leave of him; but how shall I gain my living now?

I'll tell you what, said the donkey, I am going to Bremen to be
Town Musician; come with me and take to music too. I will play the
lute, and you shall beat the drum.

The dog liked the idea, and they travelled on. It was not long before
they saw a cat sitting by the road, making a face like three rainy
days.

Now then, what has gone wrong with you old Whiskers? said the
donkey.

Who can be merry when his neck is in danger? answered the cat.
Because I am advanced in years, and my teeth are blunt, and I like
sitting before the fire and purring better than chasing the mice
about, my mistress wanted to drown me. I have managed to escape, but
good advice is scarce; tell me where I shall go to?

Come with us two to Bremen; you understand serenading; you also can
become a Town Musician.

The cat thought it a capital idea, and went with them. Soon after the
three runaways came to a farmyard, and there sat a   on the gate,
crowing with might and main.

You crow loud enough to deafen one, said the donkey; what is the
matter with you?

I prophesied fair weather, said the , because it is our good
mistress's washing-day, and she wants to dry the clothes; but because
to-morrow is Sunday, and company is coming, the mistress has no pity
on me, and has told the cook to put me into the soup to-morrow, and I
must have my head cut off to-night: so now I am crowing with all my
might as long as I can.

O you old Redhead, said the donkey, you had better come with us; we
are going to Bremen, where you will certainly find something better
than having your head cut off; you have a good voice, and if we all
make music together, it will be something striking.

The   liked the proposal, and they went on, all four together.

But they could not reach the city of Bremen in one day, and they came
in the evening to a wood, where they agreed to spend the night. The
donkey and the dog laid themselves down under a great tree, but the
cat and the   went higher--the   flying up to the topmost
branch, where he was safest. Before he went to sleep he looked round
towards all the four points of the compass, and he thought he saw a
spark shining in the distance. He called to his companions that there
must be a house not far off; for he could see a light. The donkey
said: Then we must rise and go to it, for the lodgings here are very
bad; and the dog said, Yes; a few bones with a little flesh on them
would do me good. So they took the road in the direction where the
light was, and soon saw it shine brighter; and it got larger and
larger till they came to a brilliantly-illumined robber's house. The
donkey, being the biggest, got up at the window and looked in.

What do you see, Greybeard? said the .

What do I see? answered the donkey: a table covered with beautiful
food and drink, and robbers are sitting round it and enjoying
themselves.

That would do nicely for us, said the .

Yes, indeed, if we were only there, replied the donkey.

The animals then consulted together how they should manage to drive
out the robbers, till at last they settled on a plan. Tie donkey was
to place himself with his forefeet on the window-sill, the dog to
climb on the donkey's back, and the cat on the dog's, and, at last,
the   was to fly up and perch himself on the cat's head. When that
was done, at a signal they began their music all together: the donkey
brayed, the dog barked, the cat mewed, and the   crowed; then, with
one great smash, they dashed through the window into the room, so that
the glass clattered down. The robbers jumped up at this dreadful
noise, thinking that nothing less than a ghost was coming in, and ran
away into the wood in a great fright. The four companions then sat
down at the table, quite content with what was left there, and ate as
if they were expecting to fast for a month to come.

When the four musicians had finished, they put out the light, and each
one looked out for a suitable and comfortable sleeping-place. The
donkey lay down on the dunghill, the dog behind the door, the cat on
the hearth near the warm ashes, and the   set himself on the
hen-roost; and, as they were all tired with their long journey, they
soon went to sleep. Soon after midnight, as the robbers in the
distance could see that no more lights were burning in the house, and
as all seemed quiet, the captain said, We ought not to have let
ourselves be scared so easily, and sent one of them to examine the
house. The messenger found everything quiet, went into the kitchen to
light a candle, and, thinking the cat's shining fiery eyes were live
coals, he held a match to them to light it. But the cat did not
understand the joke, flew in his face, spat at him, and scratched. He
was dreadfully frightened, ran away, and was going out of the back
door; when the dog, who was lying there, jumped up and bit him in the
leg. As he ran through the yard, past the dunghill, the donkey gave
him a good kick with his hind-foot; and the   being awakened, and
made quite lively by the noise, called out from the hen-roost
-a-doodle-doo!

The robber ran as hard as he could, back to the captain, and said:
Oh, dear! in the house sits a horrid old witch, who blew at me, and
scratched my face with her long fingers; and by the door stands a man
with a knife, who stabbed me in the leg; and in the yard lies a black
monster, who hit me with a club; and up on the roof there sits the
judge, who called out, 'Bring the rascal up here'--so I made the best
of my way off.

From that time the robbers never trusted themselves again in the
house; but the four musicians liked it so well that they could not
make up their minds to leave it, and spent there the remainder of
their days, as the last person who told the story is ready to avouch
for a fact.

A possiblle new "Followers" EXCLUDE prediction technique.

L is for the way you look at me
O is for the only one I see
V is very, very extraordinary
E is even more than anyone that you adore can

Love is all that I can give to you
Love is more than just a game for two
Two in love can make it
Take my heart and please dont break it
Love was made for me and you

-----------------

It is time to begin to explore a "Followers" EXCLUDE kind of prediction technique.

A few people here seem to have their own version of this.

Mine if developed to some degree, at all, will be based on filters' patterns.

This would make such a thing even more complicated as there are very many patterns, I would need to study a great very many past draws countless times over and over and over, this is due to working such thing by hand, the very hard way.

There appears to be no other way to do this, without proper software, that is, there is software for looking at the patterns, but not for the "Followers" part of the method or system.

Might as well do things the hard way, at least in this way, I will be the only one who will be able to do this, people who make programs and or spreadsheets want to either sell them or give them away, I would like to keep this private, besides it might be too complicated for others to understand anyway, I only have the beginning ideas at this point so I am not sure yet exactly how this will be developed for prediction, there are some many things to look at and try.

It needs so very many past draws and I would have to very slowly go over them over and over and over so very many times, the thing is to learn the "Random Rules" for working with each one of the filters patterns in this "Followers" way, the general random rules of followers for each single patterns, it would be a lot of hard work, I would have to work with 1 pattern of a filter at a time, for example the LDR filter has 10 patterns, so I would have to study 1 of the ten patterns first and then another and then another until all of the 10 are done, then move to another filters and start with it all over again.

That is the basic technique and advanced technique if ever done would be a cross reference technique between patterns and or filters, way too complicated to do without proper software.

The basic technique first, it will be follower patterns and their skips.

This will go very slowly as it is almost impossible work by hand.

One Pick 1, 2, 3 and 4 Games Odds Table From The Mass State Lottery.

I don't know if it is a complete Odds table or not for those games, but looks good, I fixed it a little.

It might be of good use later in the future sometime.

List of 2 RNG pick3 states to be tested sometime soon.

Minnesota (MN) Daily 3

    * Game Type: Pick 3
    * Drawing Days: Every Day
    * Drawing Time: 6:26 pm Central Time (GMT-6:00)
    * Midday Game: No
    * Draw Method: Computer Random Number Generator
-----------------------------------------------------
Wisconsin (WI) Daily Pick 3

    * Game Type: Pick 3
    * Drawing Days: Every Day
    * Drawing Time: 6:29 pm Central Time (GMT-6:00)
    * Midday Game: No
    * Draw Method: Computer Random Number Generator
-----------------------------------------------------

Those 2 might be the 2 RNG pick 3 states that I will or might test when ready sometime this year if possible.

As they have only 1 daily draw and the time of the draws is also right.

-----------------------------

Next later I will also pick 2 NON RNG states that will also be tested sometime.

----------------------------

It will be 4 states, maybe only 2 states will be tested at a time.

Maybe the 2 RNG states first and after that then the 2 NON RNG ones.

----------------------------

Now it looks as if there will be no preliminary pre-testing of the states, just the tests themselves.

There might not be everyday tests, but not for sure on that yet.

People's general feelings about Prediction, RNGs and Randomness.

I am keeping these posts here as a reminder to us all about the general public belief in regards to prediction, randomness and RNGs.

At the right time(s) in the future I want to remind some or all of you about these posts as they seem to reflect what the general public thinks that is right in regards to Prediction, Randomness and RNGs.

The only ways to increase your odds of winning are to play more - or in a double-barrel game like Powerball, to buy numbers covering all red ball numbers (thereby giving yourself a guaranteed win and at least a discount in the game - you basically buy 42 plays for $39).  The only other possible hope for increasing one's odds is to assume fault in the draw process and to play the most common numbers for mechanical draw machines or the last numbers drawn for an RNG (or some other RNG issue like a poor spread of numbers available, etc.).  Such faults are rare, of course, and would be corrected if known.

It is not possible for persons to increase their chances of winning in other ways.  But them I am a guy who has absolutely no belief in the supernatural.  For me, the Universe runs on natural law alone.

==================================

I Fernando (LANTERN) add that I don't believe on the supernatural either and the Universe runs on the natural law of GOD and that there is nothing more natural than that other than GOD HimSelf.

It really is bad ! Frankly, now I wonder what is the point in trying to use any kind of method at all for my state now?

If the RNGs are truly random, there will be no patterns to find. So there is nothing left but quickpicks if you want to play. I mean,. why waste valuable time and energy on it if there is nothing but truly random picks?

I should have figured. Wisconsin is the 3rd highest taxed state in the USA, and the state govt is the stingiest and tightest when it comes to letting the people have anything back.

Depressing......

Jade,

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. If a computer program is developed to pick lottery combos, how could any trends even exist?  To make it as simple as possible, say there are a thousand possible combinations. The computer could simply generate a whole number from 1 to 1,000...then count down the list of all combinations, and voila ; it spits out the combination that is "x" number of combinations down the list.

The next day it does the same thing, but with a different generated whole number from 1 to 1,000. It could be ANY generated whole number; there is nothing at all to tie it to a previous "drawing" at all...it is just a completely random generated whole number ; unrelated to anything else.

How can there even BE any trends?

BTW-- since lotteries are now more and more using computers, they should stop calling them "drawings". There is nothing being "drawn".  They should call them something ese that more accurately reflects what they are really doing.

Remember those things that have been highlighted with color, they will be important later sometime in the future, I might remind you about them.

By that I mean that those beliefs might sometime in the future be put to a test.

People will not be put to a test, just some widespread beliefs that people have.

========================

Entry #155

Winning odds of pick 3 numbers. For future reference.

There are 1000 straight pick 3 numbers.

Each of them has a 0.1% chance to come out.

To have a 1% chance of winning, a person most play any 10 straight pick 3 numbers.

Straight numbers are 1 way numbers.

Any-order or boxed numbers are:

Triples are 1 way numbers.

Doubles are 3 way numbers.

Singles are 6 way numbers.

Each triple has a 0.1% chance.

Each double has a 0.3% chance.

Each single has a 0.6% chance.

So you would need to play 2 times as many doubles to get the same chance as singles, but doubles pay 2 times as much as singles, so they might turn out to be equal.

As boxed singles have a 0.6% chance then:

10 have a 6% chance.

20 have a 12% chance.

30 have a 18% chance.

40 have a 24% chance.

80 have a 48% chance, yet they pay only $80.

You would have to play all the:

120 singles, 90 doubles and 10 triples = $220 to have a 100% and to then win either $80 for a single (72% chance), $160 for a double (27% chance) or $500 for a triple (1% chance).

According to all of that, singles and doubles are equal bets, that is, neither of them is better than the other one.

These things might be important if later I check any future predictions against the odds of winning or "Random"

I figured these things out by myself, so I am not 100% sure if I am right or not.

Predictions not working so back to study.

Well it is now obvious that I am not really ready to be making public predictions.

Whatever I knew about predicting seems to be forgotten.

I need to very slowly relearn a way of predicting,  I have been using the help of a predicting program, but that is not working no more, I used to make predictions without the help of predicting programs just using filter patterns.

Back to study for a long while.

Besides public predicting is not really for me.

I should only try that once in a while and not too often.

Entry #148

Re-learning prediction is beginning to work.

Drawing Time: 10:12 pm Central Time (GMT-6:00)

Tx (Central) time is 1 hour before LP time, so 10 PM there is 11 PM here.

This is from the last blog entry before this one.

Tx Eve

Pick 36-8-9

First I figured that it was time for singles again, then that it was better to post the nuimbers about 12 to 15 minutes before the draw just in case.

It makes me so upset to have to do that, just in case, I like to post with a lot of time in advance of the draw.

Both things paid off this time.

The program workout gave the single numbers and as it does sometimes the number was there boxed, but I boxed it and reduced them some and as the nuimber came in the boxed form then it was there straight.

36 numbers

135 132 138 105 102108 175 172 178 165 162 168 435 432 438 405 402 408 475 472 478 465 462 468 935 932
038 905 902 908 975 972 978 965 962 968

As I said, I can't predict on my own yet as I am completely out of practice so I could only reduce some those 36 source numbers, but 36 to 22 is not so bad, it should had worked to fewer combos, but TLC is always bent on:

 ING me.

They repeated EXACT pairs from the last draw.

And mostly the 9 should not had come at all, I think.

They make prediction so hard to do, when it should not be.

Now I need to re-learn so much stuff and maybe even learn one or two new things if I can, I forget so much and so easily now-days, I used to know so many prediction tricks.

Now I am back to being a beginner.

Entry #146

Some lottery thoughts.

I guess that due stats can stay due for a very long time.

So far on the last post only 2 due patterns came out, a boxed winning number today at noon and 3 numbers out of the chosen eight, but 3 out of 8 is no great thing and they were not even the most due ones to come out soon.

So far only the 8 most due digits out of the 10 have shown to have any value out of those due patterns.

------------------------

I must say that the update features of LotSoft have major problems.

The manual update, that is the update of 1 draw at a time as it is on Lotsoft is very basic, primitive (Antique) and super-slow I have tested other programs and the manual update of Lotsoft is as bad as it gets.

As to the draws import option, it just does not work at all, it makes double entries on the database, that is multiple entries that have the same date on them such as:

8/20/07    8    5    5
8/20/07    5    1    4

8/21/07    6    5    4
8/21/07    6    4    4

8/22/07    7    7    9
8/22/07    7    3    2

8/23/07    4    9    5
8/23/07    9    8    7

8/24/07    8    4    0
8/24/07    7    5    9

8/25/07    8    1    4
8/25/07    5    2    3

That makes updating with it, useless.

I have tried and tried many times and draws just don't import right it is very bad and for older Lotsoft versions it used to be even worse than that

------------

Another problem is that past draws can't be limited to a particular amount of set past draws as an option.

The past draws database just keeps on growing more and more, this makes updating the stats very very slow.

A given set amount of constant past draws to always have is best and as new draws are added to the draws' database the equivalent amount of past draws should be automatically deleted by the program, that is each person should have the option of doing this is they want to and they should be able to set the limit themselves, the limit should be independent for each state and day draw as for some day draws you might want a different amount of past draws than for others.

------------------

As to the stats, they are very very good, maybe there should be a way for people to make or have some "Graphic" or picture stats also, either with the program itself or the program kind of connected with Excel in some way maybe as to export such stats to it.

That reminds me to say that perhaps it should be made compatible with "Open Office" and not just Excel.

Also all stats should be able to copy and paste to Note and or WordPad either as text, doc and or as rtf files.

And of course there should be a way to print them also if a person want to do so.

----------------------------------

The next might be harder to do, but I think that a few lottery programs allow for the creation by a person of "CUSTOM" filters including but not limited to what I have called before "Compound Filters" .

A sort of special wizard or way(s) of doing this would be good to have.

---------------------------

Maybe there is something else, but I forgot.

That might be all of that for now.

---------------------

I have so little time now-days and I would like to do a lot of testing using past draws as I no longer know what might work and what not for making predictions.

---------------

I never cared too much for due stats as the results were never too good, some patterns sometimes come out and others don't.

A lot of testing is always needed.
