New FireFox 4 Beta 9.

I was just testing that new version of FireFox, it is on a Beta stage, it was freezing as I was trying to use it here at L.P.

I don't know what the problem is, but either it is not ready yet or L.P. is not ready for it yet.

Either way, I just quit using it and deleted it, I was trying the portable version and I find that somehow it changed a little my 3.6.12 version of Firefox, it was not a good idea maybe to have both of them at the same time, even if I was only using 1 of them at a time.

I must say that this older Firefox version is also portable, whenever I can I use portable software instead of the ones that have installers, but no matter what, they don't seem to be completelly self contained on their own folder, some stuff seems to "leak" out of it elsewhere.

They say that Google's browser is the fastest now, but I have not tried it and I might not anyway as I like Firefox, at least so far I do.

Letra Himno Nacional de México

Coro
Mexicanos al grito de guerra
el acero aprestad y el bridón.
Y retiemble en sus centros la tierra,
al sonoro rugir del cañón.

Estrofa I
Ciña ¡oh Patria! tus sienes de oliva
de la paz el arcángel divino,
que en el cielo tu eterno destino
por el dedo de Dios se escribió.
Mas si osare un extraño enemigo
profanar con su planta tu suelo,
piensa ¡oh Patria querida! que el cielo
un soldado en cada hijo te dio.

Estrofa II
En sangrientos combates los viste
por tu amor palpitando sus senos,
arrostrar la metralla serenos,
y la muerte o la gloria buscar.
Si el recuerdo de antiguas hazañas
de tus hijos inflama la mente,
los recuerdos del triunfo tu frente,
volverán inmortales a ornar.

Estrofa III
Como al golpe del rayo la encina,
se derrumba hasta el hondo torrente,
la discordia vencida, impotente,
a los pies del arcángel cayó.
Ya no más, de tus hijos la sangre,
se derrame en contienda de hermanos;
sólo encuentre el acero en sus manos
quien tu nombre sagrado insultó.

Estrofa IV

Estrofa V
Guerra, guerra sin tregua al que intente
de la Patria manchar los blasones,
Guerra, guerra, los patrios pendones
en las olas de sangre empapad.
Guerra, guerra. En el monte, en el valle,
los cañones horrísonos truenen,
y los ecos sonoros resuenen
con la voces de ¡Unión! ¡Libertad!

Estrofa VI
Antes, Patria, que inermes tu hijos,
bajo el yugo su cuello dobleguen,
tus campiñas con sangre se rieguen,
sobre sangre se estampe su pie.
Y tus templos, palacios y torres
se derrumben con hórrido estruendo,
y sus ruinas existan diciendo:
De mil héroes la Patria aquí fue.

Estrofa VII
Si a la lid contra hueste enemiga,
nos convoca la trompa guerrera,
de Iturbide la sacra bandera,
mexicanos, valientes seguid.
Y a los fieles bridones les sirvan
las vencidas enseñas de alfombra;
los laureles del triunfo den sombra
a la frente del Bravo Adalid.

Estrofa VIII

Estrofa X
¡Patria, Patria! tus hijos te juran
exhalar en tus aras su aliento,
si el clarín, con su bélico acento,
los convoca a lidiar con valor.
¡Para ti las guirnaldas de oliva!
¡Un recuerdo para ellos de gloria!
¡Un laurel para ti de victoria!
¡Un sepulcro para ellos de honor!

The Star Spangled Banner Video-Song And Lyrics.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jAYPN-1Yjt0

United States of America

The Star Spangled Banner

Oh, say! can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming;
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there:
Oh, say! does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

On the shore, dimly seen through the mists of the deep,
Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam,
In fully glory reflected now shines in the stream:
'Tis the star-spangled banner! Oh, long may it wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion
A home and a country should leave us no more?
Their blood has washed out their foul footsteps' pollution!
No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave:
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Oh, thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n-rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation!
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust":
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

In this video, Betty demonstrates a Brown Sugar Glazed Ham recipe, dating back to her college days (in the '60's). Being a starving student, Betty almost always had breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the university cafeteria. One item that was served repeatedly was Glazed Ham. Betty (using her ever-analyzing food talents) created the following recipe as an imitation of the ham served in the cafeteria, and she has continued to make it throughout her 39 (almost 40!) years of marriage.

Ingredients:

1 canned ham (I used Hormel brand, 5 pounds. You may use any brand, and reduce it to 3 pounds, if desired.)
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
1 teaspoon orange juice (You may use another flavor of juice or a juice drink.)

Remove the canned ham from the container and place in a crock pot on low for 6 to 8 hours. You may need to cut it into two pieces to get it to fit in the crock pot. When you are ready to put your Brown Sugar Glazed Ham recipe together, remove the ham from the crock pot, and place it on a tray for slicing. Use a kitchen knife, slicer, or electric knife to slice the ham into equal pieces. You may decide to leave some of the ham unglazed for guests who prefer to skip the brown sugar flavor. In a small bowl, mix 1 cup of firmly packed brown sugar with 2 tablespoons of prepared mustard. Use about 1 teaspoon of orange juice to get them to combine. Now spread the tops and bottoms of your sliced ham and place them in an appropriately-sized baking dish for the amount of ham you are glazing. (I glazed 6 slices with this amount of glaze, but they were very generously glazed, and it would have worked for up to 12 slices.) Bake at 350 degrees for anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes, depending on how thick you like the glaze. (It will become bubbly while in the oven.) I cooked my ham slices for 12 minutes, but they could have stayed in the oven longer. Remove your ham slices from the baking dish and arrange them in a pretty way on a platter. Pour any leftover glaze from the baking dish over your sliced ham on the platter. This is a terrific dish that is easy, impressive, and great tasting!

Web Site Building By Example , Web Page Has A BackGround Now.

If you know next to nothing about HTML (HyperText MarkUp Language) don't let that stop you from building a Web Site, build by example as I do.

Also there are very many free Web Page building tutorials on the World Wide Web.

A web page is a blank file that is named index.html and that is opened by you web browser and all that it shows is a white background as it is empty because there is nothing on it, untill you right click it with your mouse and then click on "View Page Source" and then you start to add the HTML code to it on it.

--------------

Now go to my Web Page or to any other web page and with your mouse right click on the page and then click on:

View Page Source

Now you will see some of the HTML code that build that web page, I said some, because the rest is somewhere online on the "Space" where the web page is at.

Such as pictures, sound files, data files, etc.

A more detailed kind of explanation and or tutorial at some later time soon, now look at my site and I know next to nothing about HTML.

http://home.earthlink.net/~lotterystats/

My ISP only gives me 10 Mega Bytes for web site space and that is what that site has, if you have more space then you can also have video there for people to see, I might maybe still be able to have a very short section of video there just to show that it can easily be done, but later on that, as it is now I have streaming music sound there I loaded there Beethoven's 5th symphony there, but only the 1st movement, if your audio is turned on you can hear it as soon as you go to the site, no need to click on anything, just turn your Pc's audio on.

While I loaded only 1 song, if I have enough web space I can load as many songs as I want and they will play 1 after the other 1 time untill all of them have played.

Adding the background image was very easy, adding the audio was a little harder, but not too much.

Soon in the future I will try to see if with the little space that I have left if I can still have a very short video clip there for people to play, video takes a lot of space on web sites and also on hard drives.

10 MegaBytes is almost nothing at all and that is all that I have there, there are places that give you more web site space, but have some other linitations, any-way I might later sometime try those and see if video can be loaded and played there.

Well no tutorial by example yet, but maybe later sometime.

Adding the calendar there was also a simple thing to do, the hard thing was finding an HTML calendar.

A counter might also be put there sometime later, just to show how easy it is to put it in there, it will count how many times the site has been visited.

A sample of ways of showing data-info on a web-site and also stream audio.

http://home.earthlink.net/~lotterystats/

Adding imaqes is also kind of easy, but at this time for the most part the page doesn't show that, unless you take the calendar as it being a picture, but it is easy, maybe I will at another time.

Web page building is not so hard, unless you put some very special or complicated stuff on it maybe, I don't know, what I did there so far was done "By example" so to speak.

Maybe more features later little by little, including playing more than 1 song in sequence, it is fun doing this stuff anyway.

Some of you are probably HTML and whatever masters and some don't know anything at all.

I don't know any Hyper Text Mark-Up Language and see what I have already done and yes I can put pictures on pages if I want to and I have done it before.

My Lottery Site and Online HTML Calendar building.

http://home.earthlink.net/~lotterystats/

http://home.earthlink.net/~lotterystats/id9.html

Look all the way down at the Calendar on the second link there as there is also a calendar on the first link way down.

They say "Learn by example"

I have just done a little of that.

I was looking for a way to make and put up a calendar on a simple web site that I have and I found the code for what might be a master-mold-layout code set up for a nice monthly calendar, I also found another code example for doing about the same thing, I have no time right now for real study of the code, but that is really not needed for making a calendar, moving the code some is easy enough for the making of the calendar and no need to know how the code works, it did take a while to get the code and to find out how to manipulate it so as to make any monthly calendar with it.

I almost never look at HTML code, very very seldom, but I might be using that Web site and I am trying to make it a little better, even somebody who knows no html code can do it, it just takes longer.
