Well if you call the Greensboro claims office they will tell you it isn't. I just now called the hotline and got a rep. and told her what you were told and she told me that the lottery assumes you paid a dollar for your ticket and they deduct that and then you don't have to pay taxes. I told her I paid 50 cents and she said I still didn't have to pay it so somebody told you wrong because I mentioned that someone else called there too...well then if they deduct that it would be $599.50...still

picking one number straight multiple hits
There was some dude that drempt the number he thought would win. Only his state didn't have the lottery so he drove to another state and played the number it hit and he won. He put a hundred dollars on it. This story is somwhere on Lottery post. The most i have ever put on one pick 4 number was 20 bucks. no win yet.sometimes i put 4 straight and one 50/50 ticket if it hits 22,600 bucks before taxes.

How many winners over $100..oo
I was blessed to hit for $2900.00 back in '97 and then $400.00 each time after that whenever 1122 fell in Cash 4. I didn't sleep that night when I hit for $2900.00, what a beautiful feeling when I went to GLC and picked that check up and deposited in my bank. Remember to save those lottery tickets that you didn't hit on so when tax time come you file them with your taxes. I didn't have to pay on that $2900.00. Have fun and let's get that money!!!

Payout Concerns
WOW!Now, I see what you were talking about. I missed the part where that was on a .50 cent bet that got that payout. That would be sweet! Yeah, taxes on anything over $599. So, our 3 pick's top prize is $598 on a straight $1 bet. That was awful nice of MO. I can't complain.Take Care and Good Luck,Bryan :)

Payout Concerns
Hi Bryan, I kinda wish ours were locked in also, but lately our 4's have been paying pretty good. I think our $1 Straight bets average $54/5500 we could also have a $1 Boxed bet that would pay you about $125 depending on the pay intake how many hit. That one I posted, 7807 if you did play it for a $1 Straight $1 Boxed you would have received $11,886. We also have to pay taxes anything over $599. Is yours the same?

Help On My Ticket...
there might be a small payout there but to confirm any payoff have the ticket scanned by the machine and always remember to buy your tickets in increments of .50 cents. It could save you in taxes.

Here's what they said. My question. If a win on the double box payout totals an amount over $600 do we have to fill out a claim and pay taxes on it? Example, if we play a dollar box on a Pick 4 double for $400 and get a Double Box Payout ticket that would be $800. Do we have to fill out a claim to get the $800 if we win? Or will the retailer just gives us the $800 cash? Thanks! Their answer. Good morning Mr. Wurston, Thanks for checking in again. The tax threshold of paying t
