Thanks Long. You don't know how many times I'm in the store and have to try to stop someone from combo'n a P4 number. It just doesn't make sense. Not only the visit to NYL but they lose more money in taxes.

No tax is withheld for any amount above $600 up to $5,000 but when you go to file your taxes the following year you have to make sure to include it as income or you could be audited by the IRS.

During this bonus week, avoid playing your pick 4 number for more than .50c straight. If you hit on a straight during bonus week for a $1, it would run you over $5000 which means that you have to pay taxes on the spot.

Play it box multiple times instead if possible as you won't pay taxes on the hit and can cash it anywhere. This is how I treat 4 way numbers like this in state.

Yeah if its under 600 you are fine. Once its over, they check NY state taxes, food stamps, child support, etc. to see if you owe anything in that range. They don't check fed stuff, but the feds Wesley Snipe you if you don't pay them for too long

I never pay taxes on the p3s love that but the pick 4 yep. (i forget to do the P4's as a box/any)ya know,then no tax paid under 600 bucks.
