I sent them a second email. Jim, Well, if we have to pay the 32.95% taxes (24% Fed, 8.95% state) which comes out to $263.60 on the $800 win per my example, that would leave me with only $536.40 in total take home winnings. I know you don't have any control or say over the taxes, but I'm going to be candid here. If that additional $400 in winnings is only going to amount to an actual $136.60 extra in my pocket, then in that case I hope I DON'T get one of the Double Box Payout promo

Pick4: Which One you Prefer: $2,000 (1 in 200 odds), or $2,500 (1 in 10,000 odds)..
I THOUGHT SO...I dont specialize in Pick4...But i am thinking the following...Many go for the Pick4: STRAIGHT OPTION which i am very fuzzy about but i think it pays: $5,000 and after taxes is what is it?? $2,5000 but the problem is that the odds are: 1 in 10,000..... However a Box wheel has: 200 combinations or 210 combinations, dont remember and if you get the numbers boxed you get: $200....But $10 x $200 = $2,000 without tax....Is the SAME THING AS PLAYING A: Pick4 STRAIGHT COMBINATION FOR

Jag that 2727 reminds me about one of my favorite stories about having my taxes prepared by my former CPA who was a numbers player imself and naturally knew that each year I always had a lot of IRS lottery W-9s to add on my return. So one year when he was preparing my taxes, my return amount was $2,727 and as I smiled he read my mind and said: good number! lmao The reality is however that I've never caught that number in any state in the 30 years I've been playing numbers but good luck to

Pick 4 roulette
So this would take you how long to fill out the playslips? I have wheeled 4,888 tickets on Treasure Hunt in Pennsylvania and we came ahead $8,600 each before taxes but that's only when the jackpot was high but three other players won so it was a big gamble. I don't know how I'd feel about betting $2500 and winning only $5k. I would not want to wait for a check, would not want to pay taxes and not sure I'd want to fill all the slips out either. Filling out 24,440 spots was really nerve rackin

They said they don't take pictures or put names on the lottery site for $600 winners because they get so many of them. I was surprised that I didn't have to pay any taxes...they said it is over $600 that you pay taxes but not on $600...the way it reads on the site it looks like you would. But you can only redeem tickets for up to $500 at stores...anything over that you have to take to a claims office. Oh and thanks for the wtg!......that money is already in my credit union account...

Which would be best for me: Straight, Boxed, or Combo?
It depends on several things. Pick 3 is better STR and Pick 4 is better BOX because STR they take taxes and already the Lottery takeout is 50% (a 50c ticket has a 1/1000 chance to win 500 times 50c). All that BOX means, is for the same 50c you are covering all the arrangements of those 3 or 4 digits. But, you get a fraction of the top prize based on how many STR numbers that combination covers. But, the odds to win are similarly reduced. Basically you get what you pay for. It's just that with
