Florida Fantasy 5...What Would You Do With A Jackpot?
I single pay F5 jackpot is going to net around $150k to $185k after taxes. Certainly not enough to retire on, but enough to make a solid impact. If we won the jackpot, in priority order, we would... pay off mortgage pay off school loans new roof new flooring It would be great to know the house was paid for, and updating it would be icing on the cake. What would YOU do with the proceeds of an F5 jackpot if you were the sole winner?

Jimmy, those are all very good points. The odds are fairly high that someone will win today. I don't remember the jackpot getting this high in quite a while. Who knows if there will be a winner, and if so, how many. It seems like a pretty good idea to spend a reasonable amount ($40-$80) on today's game. New York Take 5 coupons ??
I got 2 Take 5 coupons in the mail this weekend. play $3 in Take 5 and get $2 free I stopped at **5** stores that have lottery machines and NONE of them could figure out how to run the tickets!! I just sent and e-mail to NY State letting them know - which is the same as asking for my state taxes to be lowered - but I thought they should know. Anyone else having any luck with the coupons??

There's something I cant help but wonder about. I just took a look at The Top Prize Winner and Retailer Report. Most of the winners are from the evening drawing (no big surprise there) but there are quite a few winners from the midday draw listed. (That's because there are multiple winners of very small jackpot amounts.) Are those players deliberately playing in the midday drawing, or did they buy their ticket in the morning thinking it would be good for the evening draw but unknowingly

Now that there has been two drawings held, I think we can see the pattern for what the future holds as far as jackpots go. The midday draw jackpots will be low, and the evening draw jackpots will be substantially higher. (Last nights jackpot was almost three times higher than the midday's) My guess is that FF5 players will catch on to that very quickly, and as a result will wait for the midday draw to happen, and then buy their tickets for the evening draw.
