Ohio Rolling Cash5 rolls to $556,000.00
Ohioan have bought tickets for the Canadian lottery through the mail and that is illegal, that's is a federal law. A couple featured on Columbus 10TV news claimed to have done that and won a jackpot but I never heard if the state or federal government ever filed charges or if they changed their story to traveling to Canada to buy the tickets. I'm sure they paid state and federal taxes regardless.

I Won $ 106,167 In Ohio pick 5 !!
I am sorry about what I said earlier about taxes...What happened was that I think that the feds took 3 per cent and the state of illinois took 29 per cent. I was just excited and naturally made that mistake. Go figure!

Hi everyone Thanks for all the support. To: Four4me They do all kinds of checking to see if you owe back taxes, child support, alimony, anything they can get before they write you a check i have been told anywhere from 10 days to 8 weeks ???? Federal tax was 28.5 % $31k right off the top then next year i will owe state and local tax around $10K. Can i take off all my losing tickets , maybe a trip to vegas ??? Thanks again everyone Best of Luck to you all !!

Great Job , its about time someone won big here. Now make sure you pick up every lottery losing ticket you find off the ground, or go to otb, so you can write them off on your taxes and get some of that 30k or so back that you had to pay.

Thewiz, congrats on your win! It's amazing how long it takes the state to write a check and drop it in a mailbox isn't it?Next time I do my state taxes I'm going to send them a note on April 15th telling them they'll get their check in 6-8 weeks.

Anyone have any favorites and feedback? For the Five, SC's Carolina 5 pays out $100,000 (Taxes Paid) so you take home the entire $100,000.

My friend won the Cash-5 in Texas
I had a friend who kept saying that he could win the Texas Cash-5 game. He told me that he noticed that the numbers seems to stay in the same range...Like all teens, or all 20's. He kept playing the 20's and after about two months of doing this, he hit all 5 numbers for about $21,000. After taxes he ended up with about $14,000. Not bad for a buck!

John,I really like that taxes paid thing! My home state (NJ) has also recently improved their Pick 5 game by making it a jackpot rollover game. If it rolls over enough, you can actually win a million bucks in a Pick 5 game!
