Some new results on some old techniques.
Your sure welcome!!! If I'm going to use it might as well share it and see if others can get soome use with it. Yeah, that is pretty much the same principle. Only have to use more sums. I think anyway. Haven't tested it for the 4 draws yet this way. It kept getting close on the 4 before. Hopefully it can help win some. Here come the links..... (Did Ivey get his millions from that big London win yet?)

Wheel Challenge
is this a trick question developer? i would think that once you reach a limit in a set wheel, there is no way to logically improve that wheel. I would imagine you have to change the wheel. Thus creating a one (or more) power number situation. That i think is the only way to have a certain guarentee with less lines. I am not a big wheeler, as i prefer to play one line and win, but from my understanding, the only way to decrease cost and iimprove odds is to get your power number correc

Does Mathematical Innumeracy foster superstitions and support the belief in them?
Oh thank you Jimmy! CT s post just brought in another $2,000.00 There are a few more side bets to win so I will not give away the details. The most I can win is ten grand and it looks good. The big bet is five grand. DD

STATistic Gatherer
Benmas; Thank you. But... In the Florida nightly pick 3, I do not know of any digit in a specific position that has Exceeded a No Win period of more than +/- 140 draws...so, I'm thinking that would be heading towards a ceiling for a single digit in a specific daily lottery. with the little I understand about the rule of Big Numbers, don't think a single digit will in a closed lottery exceed such a long period without being drawn. So..., what would be a comparative ceiling for a pair of

How Do You Calculate these Odds?
Can someone tell me what the odds for this are and how did you calculate it: Lotto Max is a Canadian lottery game. It is a 7/49 game. For $5, you get three lines. So the odds of winning the jackpot, per ticket are 1-in-28,633,528. For the February 26 draw, the jackpot is $50 million. In addition to the jackpot draw, there will be 9 additional unique bonus draws (Called Maxmillions), with each draw being a $1 million prize. The odds for each of the draws are the same, 1-in-28,633,528, pe

How Can I Win Lottery?
Hey marcie This is my theory, I have said it many times and in many places ..... If lotteries are genuinely random then there is nothing that anybody can do to reduce the odds or make it a profitable business BUT if it is not random then any pattern any little information that you follow, it will guide you to some sort direction which from it you can bank on your predictions with good reward! So, if you agree with me then you have to follow math and perhaps you can win big! I may have s

21 Combinations
Hi Flex I have to study this table more, we don't have 52 numbers lottery in UK so naturally I have little information about this table! Couple of things, I said these tables might be useful to you guys and I never made any promises that you'll win big money with them but the pattern that I see is the top line had matched 5 numbers to first draw and 4 numbers to third draw and the third draw seems to be filling the gaps (gray colours), you also have 4 vacant numbers to one side and another

How many of you if you had the time will study Probability just for fun
Pick 5 or pick 6 lotteries are big dreams. But think about this; The lowest of them all, pick 2 of 10 numbers or pick 3 of ten? Can you or anyone you know beat them? The money comes from selling a system or a 'how to win book'. Or maybe just being real lucky!! IMO ez

what does a prediction formula look like?
RJOh, The best thing IMO about using your own systems is that you are less likely to split the pot when you win. If you came up with a method that hit near the 1st of every month, common sense would say that with a little alteration, it could hit in the 2nd or 3rd week. A few industrious souls would look for those alterations (getting their own pot, and not splitting yours), but many would just sit and demand for you to post near the 1st. Too many people are happy to ride the efforts of others

Dumb question of the day
dragon, I believe you are correct. What gets confusing is the way some lotto players express themselves. If one is not careful, one can make a grave mistake in their mental equations (such as): odds = probabilities = tickets = combinations. Each one is a different animal (so-to-speak), but all are related....which is probably responsible for the confusion . As you say, the California Lottery has 42 million different combinations. I have been examining lotteries in terms of combinations
