Craps Pass Line With Odds Bet - Casino Advantage
Thanks Orange71, you make much more sense than the guy who tried to explain to me before -- granted he was a degenerate gambler and not one for mathematical precision. What I remember is 7/11 = automatic win, 2/3/12 = automatic loss, 4/5/6/8/9/10 = keep rolling till you either get your number or bust at 7, and also you have to hit the back wall. I worked out the probability of winning the pass line bet is 244/495, same as 7/495 = 140/99% house edge. Now it totally makes sense to put more of

Pick-3 Box or Straight ??
Find a system that works for you and stick with it. Lottolaughs 747 program works great. There are many others also. The simple +111 also works great. RL is right the lottery loves players that throw large amounts of money at the games. The other day at the store I was in line behind a guy when he had the clerk checking his tickets. He spent big $ bucks and won nothing. I cashed in tickets and he stopped and asked me why I win . I told him it's simple track your game for trends etc. Also use

Drawn number/s matched to day of the month. P3 &P4.
I am not a fan of mixing apples with pears. So, I don't like to compare different lotteries of the same type, certainly not without the databases of drawings freely available. Besides to run all that, the programming is getting a bit more complex and a single spreadsheet won't do much. In Office you might use Access like Ricky did, but then there is XAML or Silverlight, C#, VB, C++, TSQL and more to use (MS products named). Add the costs of creating, keeping it up, the servers, and so on. In exc

How can I validate my system is getting closer to picking better numbers?
The big 2 issues -WHAT numbers will b the winning ones and WHEN they will appear ... Solving both is challenging and can b rewarding. One without the other is useless. Time frame,$ invested ...WHAT numbers ..and WHEN ! A lot of systems to solve the WHAT ..but for WHEN not much work put in. Maybe skips -average skip or highest skip ...play on the high skip ..you b waiting for a while...do it for the avg. skip maybe you loose a few times and win other times...profit ? maybe yes ,maybe no

Markov Chains in Lottery Games
As you can see here, digit 7 is more likely followed by digit 8 than for example digit 4 ( and 2,3,7, etc.) for the 1131 tested pick 3 draw results. You are referring to the past situation, where 8 followed 7 more often. Your statement that it is more likely that 8 follows 7 is incorrect. You mix up sample and population. For pick 3 a balance is faster restored than for a lottery game like Power Ball. I posted followers for pick 3 several times and proved it. The difference for catching up

Can math and logic improve chances of winning a jackpot?
My fault RJOh. I was talking about matching (5) of (6) on MM's. Using my own excel system, I see where spending roughly $100K per draw, and, optimizing timing on specific combinations...a win should be realized within (5) draws and maybe less with luck. Hit five numbers for that cool $1M and that amount spent is recovered. You then pay taxes on the $1M and start over. Even if it costed $500K to win, you get it back + $500K. After big brother get's his cut, you're good. The down side? You gott

Can math and logic improve chances of winning a jackpot?
Good luck RJOh. But to answer your question, I would say yes it does. For the last 2 months, I've been using 2 filters that, together, eliminate approximately 7.7 million combinations from Hoosier Lotto's 12.2 million total combinations. They are accurate 95% of the time. So in essence, yes, it can. The problem with jackpot games is massive odds to begin with. Even though those 2 filters take me down to about 1 in 4.5 million to win the jackpot, those are still horrible odds, so my only optio

Some new results on some old techniques.
I can probably come up with something. I hate a laptop. Well the stupid pad on it anyway. I like my big mod unit. Tons of power and speed in it. A new PC is always nice. Yeeessss. I'm a man, don't know about the man. lol. We may not win everytime, but a little studying, and i think we can win our share.
