Some new results on some old techniques.
LOL!!! Yeah. Well I've been told how crazy i am for even thinking it can be done so many times here now, that i guess i got a little carried away with it. Just got to thinking about the old workout a while back, and had to take another look at it. Glad i did. And all the I'm crazy 's just got me to thinking well, I'll either go crazy to where it won't matter or I'll figure something out. Either way i win there. LOL. But yeah, Knucklehead on here is amazing with Lotus123 and he programmed some

How to calculate these types of probability?
I analysed some of pick 3 and noticed that if things would go well, you would pay a lot of tickets and you would get just a bit over break even. If the case doesn't come out, you lose big money. The only interest that I had in pick 3 is working out odds and tables in Excel. Again, if I consider that you could win a pick 3 by some method, get break even consistently, then you might double your money at roulette. That I would do! Technical problems like wheeling can be solved. Printing on

New Pick One Gaming Concept
When the Plaza in Vegas was the Union Plaza they had converted the Big Six (tourists call it The Wheel of Fortune) symbols to a deck of playing cards, thius 52 stops. You could bet on any individual card (specific suit and card) and it paid 40:1. Players loved it. The odds against your card hitting were 1 in 52, expressed as 51:1, or 51 to 1 as one of them had to hit. As for a lotto Pick 1, I'm not sure a $40 or even $51 payoff would thrill a lottery player. What was that chevy Chase

Does Mathematical Innumeracy foster superstitions and support the belief in them?
What I meant in the second statement was you seem to get off by continuesly insisting that people who play the lottery using some sort of system suffer from a fallacy which is rooted in not having the nessary math skills or understanding. Those who do have the math skills then must suffer some sort of psychological disorder by trying to out perform the odds. If a person does come out ahead then they are fooling themselves thinking that they somehow had a possitive effect when it was a not

Math Odds Question
Wheeling 16 numbers in a Pick 5 game gives me 4,368 combinations. Now if I split those 4,368 combos into 10 line sets that would give me about 437 sets of 10 lines. Say that one of the combos was a sure fire jackpot win. If 437 people were playing their 10 lines of numbers one of them would have hit the big one. My question is...what would their odds have been? 1/437 because of the way it was split up? Or 1/4,368 because of the odds in the first place? Appreciate your mathematica

How do I prove my state lottery's CGNs are fixed?
I think my opinion or suggestion, advice whatever you want to call it is very good. I think it can aid someone in winning. Then start your own thread; it's really easy. All those graphs might help but i think they drain a person of his real creative intuitions. Nope the real drain on creative intuitions is answering pests that add nothing to a discussion. I am almost certain I read on lotterypost one time somewhere, about an actress, who was always striving to get a golden glob

Heads/Tails /probablity
The highest skip I have ever seen is 15 ...... one time. That covers alot of games and many many different groups. In my particular state I would consider it very strange to get more than 9 in a row of anything .....2 times a year. The odds must go up dramatically at around 8 to 9 ..... its just soooo rare. This is what a progressive bettor should live for. Those rare times. The most obvious groups are the mostly High..mostly lows .....Mostly odds evens. The only trouble ofcourse ar

Math and Lotteries
As stated before...there is no math that can predict the jackpot drawing.....however having experimented with megamillions since April/May of this year I have concluded that there are several mathimatical patterns that a person can use over a period of drawings that will produce the 2nd prize. This involves spending 40 to 65 numbers a drawing. I have been able to hit 5 of 5 on several different experimental schemes during my experiments with these patterns......unfortunately I have only gotte

But there are easier ways to accomplish the same result. The time isn't wasted if you are having fun... for some of us it's a hobby...I understand the odds and the risks... $1... big deal... (I am only after one pick... any more than 1 pick and your'e guessing or trapping). I also understand the returns... you only need to hit a mega-sized jackpot

Anyone Here Have Programming Skills?
I'm curious about something that I think will take some programming skills to arrive at an answer. If I had the ability to write code, I'd do it myself, but I've never written a single line of code in my life. First, let me forewarn that what I'm looking to get an answer to is not going help anybody win a big jackpot. So why bother if it's not going help me win a jackpot? is definitely a fair question. I cant say as I'd blame anybody with coding skills for passing on writing the code. My requ
