Lotto Winner Promises
Too many times people hear words never spoken and think of them as promises broken when not fulfilled. How many times has some one written we all are here to help each other win as if it was a promise someone made. Then they are disappointed when they PM someone asking for copies of their software, data files, help with an Excel program or something else which would take up their time and receive nothing. People come here to help themselves win big and those who think other wise are goin

4/35 Game Wheels.
Not sure about the percentages but you can use a wheel similar to one that you might use for Tx Lotto 6/54. I that you play 9 numbers in blocks of 3 for 3 lines. In 2Step, play 6 numbers in blocks of 3 for 3 lines. The problem with that is getting 2 out of 4 pays nothing unless you get the bonus ball. I've never been a big fan of wheels. I agree that Cash 5 is a waste. I'll play once in a while, but the jackpot is terrible for the odds. If you want to win 25K, play Daily 4 straight for $5, no

Interest In Backtesting and Simulating Lottery Systems
I think testing like this helps people see visually that there can be random winners in various games, including lotteries. I would still like to see a Pick3 test that shows if it is possible to make a profit playing QPs. Reading stats on lottery websites or the odds printed on tickets, playslips, pamphlets, etc; doesn't tell me that. Agree with ameriken, especially this statement, when someone wins big and claims it is the result of a sysem, the win appears to prove that the system really pr

what is wheeling system logic?
It's a fact, not theory because any if 5 or if 6 abbreviated wheel using all the numbers is mathematically designed to produce whatever the win guarantee is. A 2 if 5 of 39 numbers will always have at least one 2 number match in any 5/39 game. All abbreviated if wheels will guarantee a match when the designated amount of numbers is matched unless there is flaw in the wheel. The same is true when all the filters are passed in full wheel. It's possible to get more than the abbreviated wheel gua

Statistics around the balance of even/odd and small/big numbers
RJOH Although I don't think my winning 50K or so would warrent any national press coverage. I hope to win a big one but not picky, a couple 3 of 5's will make my day. RL

Grouping numbers in a 6/49 lotto game
I have always tracked by decades, ie; 1-9;10-19;20-29, etc. In the Lotto Texas game there are 54 numbers in the game. So there are 5 numbers in the 50's decade. However, the 50's have played 141 times in the 6th position as opposed to the 40's playing 135 in the 6th position. This is over 327 drawings, so there is not that much difference in the big picture. I still think this is useful info, but overall, I only use this info to try to cut the odds some, because it still takes luck more than any

Gap Strategy - Need mathmatical assistance
I realize I may have created an 'exercise in futility' situation, but, you never know. Ever lottery player who's chasing a jackpot have his own exercise in futility and just don't have the time to deal with someone elses efforts. Keep at it and if you win big, let the rest of us know how you did it. Good luck to you.

Look at this and calculate the Odds...
LOL ....... blcmjfq, I wonder if my wins would actually go up by 50% too .. ! Much better odds. They might use that on their next big deal promotion... instead of 20% better payout... just subtract 20% of the numbers. Pick 3 outa' 1000 .... #800. Maybe that wouldn't be such a good idea for the ga. lottery..When folks saw they still couldn't win anything that way either... they might stop playing. LOL

Statistics question
EDIT: Change the type of drawing in this scenerio to this: The lotto is played by drawing 11 numbers, from 1 through 80. Players have to match only seven of the 11 numbers drawn to win a jackpot. Now, this makes a big difference, right? Two people can win and have completely different sets of numbers. But it makes the challenge of figuring the statistically possibility of 14 winnings tickets being drawn even sweeter.
